The equation between two people does matter when it comes to them feeling anything for each other! The other show you mention..it's a bold step to not show attraction as that's too obvious a way of getting them together without resolving any issues between them!
Rudra does not have anything to hate Paro for?? huh?? Does he not think she is involved in thakur's smuggling rig? Till Friday he was indifferent to her presence in his room?no attraction was shown obviously after he killed her husband and brought her to the haveli.Whatever he felt earlier before her wedding was before he suspected her!
Even when they had that eye lock of sorts he was totally indifferent..no softening of eyes etc...
Helping he get off the cupboard was done with so much irritation..putting on the helmet and asking her to hold on on the bike..all this was for her physical well being.
If he had treated her leg in a similar way in a gruff manner it would have been more apt! But they bowed to TRP and audience demands definitely!

IN fact if Rudra had come to know that paro helped Dilsher and that's how she was discovered that would explain him helping her out this way a lot more than the current scenario.

I am sorry but though the scene was very well done it was out of place..he thinks she is wrong..now he is going to get into more trouble because of her silence..not a shred of contrary thought or doubt has arisen in his mind that she may be innocent!

It's the same thing as in most shows...the hero who thinks women are manipulative and doesn't want anything to do with them still falls for the heroine and thinks she is different without any rhyme or reason whatever may be the situation they meet in!

They just have not built the story to a level where a guy like Rudra would have romantic thoughts about a suspect in his custody! I say suspect because even though he says witness now why that changed is also not clear..they have just moved the story one burst ahead without showing any doubt..any questioning of Rudra...

It would have been better if Rudra were to investigate and find out paro was innocent and till then he actually maintained his indifference to her..even if he is physically attracted to her he should be shown as fighting that!!why show him hesitating to touch her suddenly...she has been asleep for a lot of the time they have been together...if he is letting down his guard because she is asleep then by now he should have declared her innocent!

The romance and tenderness and gentlemanly behaviour was totally abrupt..given she slept on the floor a day earlier!Ok..she is injured so he picks her up..and places her on the bed..maybe even tends to h foot so that does not become an issue..but not in the way that indicates he feels something special for her!

HI Pri,
Thank you for your well explained post...Even if I tried...I don't think I will be able to convince you of anything...obviously you feel strongly about this and you have your reasons that you have well stated here...

On a more fundamental point...
I think the way a mans attraction works is perfectly aligned with Rudra's behavior...it does not go in sequence ...obviously you don't think that's how it is...so we can just agree to disagree...

I think witness and suspect are two different things...Paro is a witness...

I disagree that when she was at his house...he didn't have any attraction...I think the awareness started there...

A TV serial in the genre of romantic story doing away with attraction? That's not my idea of differentiation I am looking for...I am not sure the serial I am talking about was trying to do that...They just had a different sequence of events in mind...that was logical but...did not have what I call innate instincts that are kinda fundamental for attraction for me to want to continue to watch it...but that does not mean that it is not worth liking for anyone else...there were tons of other good things in it...

Yes, I am not thinking about the longevity of the serial...that's the makers headache...I get disappointed when they hit the reverse and reset button on things just so that they can milk it for more time...compromising characters and story and everything with it...

In any case, our opinions are our perspectives..NO right r wrong...so we don't have to agree...and that's cool...right?😊

Regarding the promo...shoe picking and all...I thought he was being a gentleman to not take advantage of her by making her pick his shoes and stuff...like a servant...did I miss something??

I think during Monday or Tuesday epi , there was a scene where PARO , ask clothes from RUDRA , she was searching clothes from his cupboard he came and ask her , what she is searching , then he told her that she don't have permit ion to touch his stuff ,

I agree with you. Rudra is basically a good human being and caring, too! We have seen his love and care for his father and also his protective nature towards Paro. Despite having gone through so much in his own life and living without any touch of affection, he has not lost the basic human qualities .. His saving Paro on several occasions is a proof of that.

And since he does not have any inherent or particular hatred towards Paro, it is quite natural that he would feel the attraction.. None of them has to do anything for that. Their everyday interactions and incidents around them will bring them closer. And being a man, it would be the most normal thing for Rudra to feel the love for Paro. Although it is most likely that he would try to fight the attraction given his general misconception about woman and in particular his mother's treachery, which, his surroundings, such as his Aunt's continuous taunts will remind him of.

However I am curious to see how Paro feels about that.. How she comes into terms with her feelings for her husband's killer. To show that convincingly would be a great challenge for the CVs.

Thank you so much GPK! It is the feedback like yours that makes me motivated to share my perspective...

Rudra is exactly the kind of bad boy I like...so decent and so capable of caring...just like he cares for his father...even though he wears a persona that is rough at the exterior...

Paros feeling towards him...will be a tough thing...but the transition has to be shown gradually...

Attraction, caring and all fine, but come on guys, he's already in a mess, dragging her from place to place. His job is in a jeopardy. Add to that a sprained leg. No way, he doesn't need that for the time being.

Ha ha...Thanks Malika for the compliment!!!😃

Good point...think of the sprained leg...does he really want go carry her on his back when they are on the run? It would be in his best interest to get it cured ASAP...😃

Well reading posts from Vera and prettypri...
My point is a person can get attracted to any body... If the mind rebels the attraction that makes it even more interesting,,forbidden fruit...
What is the fun in marking your partner go through every checklist... He or she is eligible ... Now I will feel attracted to her..
Rudra knows that paro is bad news for him... She's beautiful... She comes from a terrorist harbouring village.. She was the bride in a marriage hoax so is a suspect...
She is also his witness if he meddles with her can very well ruin the case.. If they indulge in an affair won't thakur says she is Rudra's woman that is why she is giving a false testimony against him.
But he's attracted to her... forbidden fruit is always more desirable..😳
And Rudra is not lord Rama over here that he has to maintain a stellar worthy reputation... He is human..

Paro has valid reasons to hate rudra... He killed her husband... Destroyed her life...
She should be running away from him...she is not yet shown being attracted to him but she's aware of him...when they were creeping out of the haveli...she felt something... She likes holding onto his back.. I guess she likes touching him..makes her feel safe,..
Rudra is forbidden to her...she is supposed to hate him but she still wants to wear his clothes..

There are enough grounds for me to make me watch how this story goes..

I hope I am making sense Sush😆

Nice post, Sush ... enjoyed reading all the replies here.
Quick take from me ... please bear with my jumbled thoughts 😛
As many have said, Rudra is inherently decent, he is also quite sentimental under his gruff exterior ... witness his upset when his men were killed, when the mother of his dead jawaan berated him ... he broke down at that one ... his care for his father, despite the bitterness and taunts.

Paro came back of her own will ... she was a suspect, now she is more a witness. His suspicion of her guilt has not gone entirely, but the certainty must be tempered ... as his dad keeps asking, is she bewakoof or very clever?

The initial hot rage and anger has faded with the 2-3 days they have spent together ... it is difficult to keep up that level of anger constantly when there is really nothing to feed it. And the close proximity in those very abnormal circumstances, they are having almost 'normal' exchanges ... I need clothes, here is food for you, I need needle and thread ... it's a very peculiar situation, with strange responses from both ... the underlying fear on her side, and mistrust on his side has not lessened ... but the day to day living has pushed it under the surface.
The care for her foot was a normal reaction, like organising her clothes, her food, but it changed into more than just prosaic care ... he remembered when he saw her foot with the dupatta wrapped like a make shift bandage that she was hurt ... yet she had never once voiced a complaint about it ... he left her waiting in the room, without a word of explanation ... came back to find her sleeping in an uncomfortable position, in pain, yet no demands or complaints about anything ... a feeling of guilt on his side? That it is his duty to take care of her, because she has no means to do it herself ... yet he did not, he failed in his duty here.

Also Paro did not need to make rotis for his dad ... she did ... Rudra may not have seen her run to get Dislher's pump, but he does know that she cooked for his dad despite being his captive ... just mentioning this as someone brought it up.

So he is slowly seeing a side of her that he has not seen in the women in his life so far ... a girl who makes no complaints, no demands, but still manages to hold her own in front of him, and shows a surprising quiet strength. Is it attraction or just a slow realisation that this girl is not quite what he thought she was?

Wonderful character sketch of Rudra Sush...👏,there is no doubt that he is fighting within for these unknown emotions which he is very much unfamiliar with.He supposed to hate a beautiful woman but he is getting attracted and needed to protect her , take care of her gently.
other side Paro has all the reasons to be confused , she will definitely take time to grasp him and his nature.

Loving this discussion. Feeling guilty. go to get back to my work. ok just once more, lets peep in and see what else is being said. This is not good. Nope, don't want to get addicted. Its like ...the serial is one thing and the forum is another. Just want to read what everyone thinks. some gupshup, some fun stuff, some serious and some downright illogical reasonings. what can I say. Its pulling me back to my laptop. Its 11.20a.m here on a Monday morning and Im replying this post instead of my work. Uh Oh the 'thing'...its starting again. That's it. Im done for now. Will come back only after the next episode. Now ...wondering what the equation will be once theyre back at the haveli. Stop.I mean full stop.
