</div>The optimist in me just focuses on the positive I guess. He didn't need to bandage her hand, not at all, yet he did. He didn't need to cook for her, he could have just let her go ..but he still did. Once he told her, she was free to go in an hour, he didn't need to feed her. Heck the girl didn't care whether she had something inside her or not..but he did. She would have happily gone hungry..but he didn't let her, mindful of what lay in front of her. And why care if the girl freezes, out in the cold, but a part of him did care.
<div>Whatever the reasons, (and I agree they were not noble) he didn't need to do any of the above and he would still have achieved his means in the end, yet he did everything he could for her. (Sorry..i might be a cold realist like him in real life, the romantic in me comes lose in such moments😃)
