Awww indeed 😳!! Such a cute little baby and such a buff baby sitter!! Never thought the so called heartless Major would be such a stellar babysitter!! So observant and considerate!!Conscious of her every need!! He actually never took his eyes off that cherubic face even for a moment!!
Paro looked like a lost child, an innocent angel with a broken wing. Contrary to how the scene started and I had made up my mind, even scrunched an eye, closed an ear, expecting him to blow off his fuse again and make Paro's life more miserable, as she was caught disobeying the Major's order. But guess what, the storm got diverted, his attention latched on to her injury, the fury collided with concern...and miraculously he lost steam!! (May such miracles never cease!) So, her pain is more important than his anger?? When did that happen😲??!! (I swear I don't blink an eye or even take a breath when I watch these two) And the way he ministered to her wound...made me wish I had a cut or two on me!! Was that gentle, sweet...tender or what?? The disbelief on Paro's face was matched with the one on mine..Rudra..really?? She was so prepared for his aggression but so unprepared for his softness, his expression as gentle as the snow in the mountains. Is he the same gruff, rude, bully or am I seeing double? The day this man will stop hiding behind the merciless shadows of his past and let himself out, Paro will be his willing prisoner, forever and ever.
And what followed, made me hunger for more and more. The way he fed her was so utterly uber cute!! She, like a child, kept on looking at the clock, unmindful of anything, her desperation heartbreaking!! And he somewhere understood that desperation. The way he took care of her, fed her, attentively, letting her be herself. The moment was sheer magic. The child like innocence of a distracted Paro and the gentle care of Rudra!! Her eyes didn't leave the clock and his didn't leave hers for a moment!! Paro unmindful, blissfully unaware and Rudra, so keenly aware of her and her every need. She didn't care whether she had something inside her, but he did!! And when she coughed, the way he instantly offered water...left us thristing for more...way more!! One of the best scenes so far...!! He knew she was a child, a lost one at that, and the way he looked after her, made me choke too (just my luck no glass of water or waterwala handy 😕)! The scene was like a whisper of a pure untainted emotion, too subtle to be called love yet!!
And the way he saw her out, grabbing her tiny frail wrists in her hands, hers so fragile, his so tough n hardy, the sheer contrast of strength and vulnerability. He enveloped that tiny frame in his forceful persona so quietly. He so worldly wise and she so unworldly. He so aware of the tiniest movement around him, she so lost!! And the way he wrapped that child up..knowing it was cold and covering her up would keep her safe from prying eyes too...just made me short of words!! This Jallad sure knows how to take care!! Yes, she is a baby in a sense, and somewhere the barren man realizes the fact. And today he just proved how good a care taker, how finely attuned a baby sitter he can be!! His heart gentle, his mind solely focused, his hands soft, his eye unwavering...he could protect her from herself and the world and he will..always!
Whatever he does to her, and I can bet it will, most of the times, be ugly, these ethereal, unexpected and unwarranted moments of sheer tenderness, utmost gentleness, will remain etched in our memories!!
