Hi Diya,
Was that an episode or was that an episode !!!!!!
The scenery, the wedding party picturization, the bridal camel wagon, the BSD on the camels and of course our motorcycle Rudra....
As you said the entire production team gets standing ovation !!! 👏

Sanaya and Ashish, so much said with no words.

BSD search was kinda poor !!!

Thanks for your beautiful post.

Thank you!

Great episode, great acting by all ... the BSD search reminded me of the very perfunctory searches done at malls and cinema halls here 😆 but then, I guess they didn't want to spend too much time on it, since there was so much more to show 😛 Okay, I'm giving them an excuse ... the episode was so well done, a small lapse is allowed 😆

Sanaya and Ashish ... take a bow! Acting, expressions, body language ... all wow!

As usual, a beautiful take on the episode Diya 🤗

Thanks, Pri! 🤗

I want to applaud the makers of this show for paying attention to aesthetics and the quality of the product they are putting out there. I will overlook the tiny flaws, such as the blood looking painfully fake, because it doesn't matter in the bigger picture. The scenes in the desert (i.e. majority of the episode) were beautifully shot. The story is on perfect pace. You can tell that a lot of time and effort when into it, which is very rare for daily shows as most of them are more concerned with quantity over quality. They just want to churn out as many episodes as they can to fill the needed quota. No wonder why even those who claim to "not care" about the show or dislike the actors/acting on the show continue talking about it more so than we do...their obsession truly amuses me!

The blood spurting out in jets amuses me more ... but that's a norm in BW too, so can be ignored! 😆 More important is the bigger picture ... giving credit where it is due, the team has put in a lot of work, and it shows. This is really something new for TV ... after 24, this is the next show to put in as much effort into making the show aesthetically pleasing and artistic, and especially the action scenes ... since TV is a visual medium, it's important. For now the story is going at a good pace ... I'm glad they're taking time to build the background well, and not just starting off with love-hate ... ST said the story is the real hero, and looking at the way they're going, I believe it. I just hope they don't fall prey to channel pressures and trps, and manage to keep it this way till they tell their whole story. The ratings will follow automatically, judging by the top rated show, TRP audiences don't mind a slow pace 😛.

Anyways, Sanaya was fabulous! Here's an actress who never mails it in...gives her best in every scene and it shows because she nailed every expression, every moment of shock, fear, pain, sadness...it was all visible in her face and body language. And there's something about the way she cries that makes you want to hug her, she looks so innocent and genuine.

Ashish was just as fabulous. He is so manly and handsome in the most masculine way, and his talent just adds to that. I always felt this from day one but now I know for a fact that no one could come close to doing justice to this role the way he has. He has amazing screen presence, to match Sanaya's. Both of them can emote beautifully and capture our attention without even saying a word.

Finally, the chemistry they share just leaves me speechless. I don't mean in terms of sexual tension only...I mean as actors, any time they are in the same frame together and its been far too little for my liking, it is mesmerizing...as it was today when they finally came face to face again. All they had to do was look at each other and I was done. I'm so excited for this week!

Agree completely!!! Now I can understand why ST waited for Sanaya, and wanted only her for his Paro ... she has that mix of innocence and sensuality in her face, and she is drop dead gorgeous, of course ... so she looks the perfect Paro ... and she has the talent and acting chops to portray what promises to be a long journey ahead.
And I am more and more impressed with Ashish ... he has taken the time and pains to get into character ... his body language, his swagger, ... and his eyes are as expressive as Sanaya's. They make an awesome pair on screen ... and they look awesome together ... her petite fair beauty against his more rugged masculine looks. Waiting for more PaRud scenes ... the hatred is going to be explosive!

I just hope the creators maintain the story and the serial does not turn typical somewhere in between.
Great post!!!! keep going!!!!!👍🏼

Thank you!!! I'm happy you broke your silence ... do keep posting! There are some more excellent takes on the forum ... NaachBasanti, MoronsKiMalika, tvbug, serialjunkie are the ones I look out for ... do catch them too, they are fab writers!

Diya
Wonderful post as usual and lovely responses
You know I dreamt that I already posted on this thread so was shocked when I didn't see it!

Onto my review

so at last we got the start of the shoot-out at Birpur scene, I could feel the tension rising all episode we all knew what would happen - but the calm before the storm is always the scariest

OK my faith in border security has just plummeted ( except for Rudra and Aman of course)
seriously - they couldn't find any guns and then took ages to break open the bride's baggage? whilst the bad guys took as as long as they liked to get their guns out, load up and aim

Loved the filmy action scenes agree with you the behind the scenes gang deserve full credit here ( though how could i not mention the camels - who were happily munching away in the background - not too fussed with the human shoot-out going on around them 😆)
The last scene was of course mind-blowing - I think you are right Ashish was referring to this scene when he tweeted deafening silence in the middle of gunfire

wow Rudra and Paro - when your love story is written in blood in the desert sands - that's the scene you will get - both unable to move - in Paro's case significant moments in her life flash before her eyes and she still struggles to fully see this BSD officer as a villain though all the evidence points to it - but she does not run
Rudra meanwhile - is similarly dumbfounded - no ma flashbacks here (they will come) but more tumble in the sands - why can't you pull the trigger Rudra? what is stopping you? Beauty and innocence and love can't really exist all in one woman can it? Why can't you hate her and just pull the trigger?

awesome scene

Nice take as always. I'm not that good with words, but to be honest i read your take before the repeat telecast to catch the nuances i missed in the first watch. Your take makes me enjoy the show much more and like Sanaya more and more. I strated liking Ashish too after reading some of your posts. He definitely is a powerhouse of talent and good coactor for Sanaya. (It was same with IPK too, i was silent reader of your RR blog back then.)

What an episode! the shootout, the mayhem and Parud eyelock and their music, all superb. Kudos to the direction and cimenatography, except for a couple of glitches, superb episode.
Sanaya and Ashish were a treat to watch when in the same frame, its like they can read each other without saying a word, just magical chemistry ( not the physical one). Great actors.
