I had not posted for the Friday episode, so first a word of appreciation for Sanaya for nailing her scenes throughout the episode, as a nervous, anxious bride, leaving behind her loved ones and especially in the end when told about Bindi. Thakursa was impressive too.
Today, what an action packed episode, definitely Diya, a rakth se racha one. They built the suspense quite well and the feel of confusion and mayhem. The only thing unclear now is did Paro see Rudra kill her husband? She fainted, so she just assumes the worst as she did see him kill other men and he pointed the gun at her too.
So, Varun was oblivious to what his Kaka and cousins are upto, that is what his pleading to Rudra implied I guess. Another question is why was Thakur so sure the baraatis will cross the border, he knew the BSD had caught their scent and the BSD just wanted to catch them with the money?
The creatives are very good is giving poignant moments, the bidaai scene with Bindi's memories and the last one between Rudra and Paro with flashbacks were well done. Both actors emoted so well. So, Rudra already has some connect with Paro, something is stopping him from pulling that trigger, it can't be just because she is a woman, the flashbacks clear that. Paro though looks horrified seeing him.
More blood will be spilt tomorrow and then we get the hospital scenes. We will see Sanaya in this bridal wear for a while now.
A round of applause for direction, cinematography, music (the lyrics were different today). 👏
U, I'm pretty sure Paro will see Rudra kill Varun ... the skirmish is not done yet, and both Sanaya and Ashish mentioned that part in their interviews. Till now, the hate for Rudra is generic, because he is BSD ... but only when she sees him kill Varun with her own eyes, will that hate become specific to Rudra as the destroyer of her dreams.
Varun seems to be innocent for sure ... he was okay with the search ... so obviously he knew nothing about what they were carrying.
I liked both sets of flashbacks ... the first Bindi ones at the bidaai were very well done ... while Paro embraces everyone as is usual in a bidaai, her mind is only on the missing Bindi ...
And when she sees Rudra again, there is still confusion in her mind about him ... she sees both the protector and the destroyer ...
By the end of the episode, Rudra is completely the destroyer in Paro's flashbacks ... while for Rudra, his flashback is only of his rescue of Paro, an innocent fragile girl ... so there is already a connect for him, while for her, the hatred is coming more to the surface. The flashbacks were very well placed ... and the actors were excellent.
