Ok everyone, whenever real life throws a curve ball in my direction I sometimes feel better when I start writing again. So here is a preview for a possible new fanfiction with Shanak. It will be alternate universe if you all like this idea I will start a separate thread for it. If not I will add another os when inspiration strikes again.

Khanak Sharma never expected she get into serious trouble quite like this. She had been raised in household where everyone was liberal and exercised their freedom to the fullest. She was her parents' only daughter. She had an older brother who was a cop and her father was the police commissioner in their restrict. She should have been safe. She didn't know how she got herself into this mess. She had been doing social work. She wanted to keep the orphanage safe from a local gang instead she herself was in turmoil.

She slowly opened her eyes as cold water was splashed on her face.

" Hey !," she yelled.

" Hello doll. You are going to be guest here until and if your father follows our wishes," one ugly gangster hissed.

She eyed him disgustedly.

She looked at him, trying to size him up. There had to be at least one weakness he had. She was a cop's daughter she needed to fight back somehow.

The gangster pulled out a knife two more emerged behind him. She gulped. One she could deal with but three big goons versus her, she needed a plan fast.

Meanwhile somewhere in the distance CID officer was approaching. He was a young man in his mid-twenties. Danger had become second nature in his life since he got recruited four years ago. This gang could lead him to the head smugglers that were causing havoc in Mumbai. He was part of a special task force. He often went on missions alone and sometimes he would be away from his family for months. As far as they knew he worked for a private agency and he would have to travel on last minute trips here and there.

He sensed some commotion ahead, he got his gun ready as he approached.
