Mostly a fluffy update with some weird dream in the beginning

Part Six- Waking up

Khanak began twisting and turning. She was having what at first seemed like a nightmare that seemed real.

They were all at the factory site. She had just arrived there and called Shantanu's name.

He turned to look at her. He was shocked that the village children had not been able to stall her longer. She rushed towards him.

" Shantanu Mangal Bhaiya ne kuch..,"

" I don't care Khanak. I have to prove that I want the welfare of Dhulwadi even if I lose my life," Shantanu declared.

" Nahin hum dono hamesha sub kuch saath mein karte hain. Aur aah bhi karenge," she stated firmly.

They clasped their hands together and headed towards the switchbox. They locked eyes and started to reach for it together. However instead of both of them turning it on, Khanak nudged Shantanu and in one second she turned it on alone.

Then she felt an electric shock go through her body and then everything went black.

She lurched wide awake. She was in her bedroom that she shared with Shantanu in Mumbai. She must have fallen asleep after they got home earlier that afternoon.

She sighed with relief.

Shantanu entered the room with a bright smile upon seeing Khanak awake.

" How are you feeling Khanak?," he inquired.

She suddenly felt the pain from her hip where the bone marrow aspiration had been done earlier that day. Hearing her hiss with the pain, he indicated he had an ice bag.

He lifted the blanket and placed the ice bag next to her hip.

She frowned she was not wearing the hospital clothes anymore. She did not remember changing.

" Shantanu maine toh hospital wale kapre pehne the. Mujhe yaad nahin aara ke maine kab change kiya tha," she stated puzzled.( Shantanu I was wearing the hospital clothes before. I don't remember when I changed.)

Shantanu shook his head and smiled.

" Khanak you were tired, that's why you don't remember. Now lie down. The doctor wants you to rest today. In a few days we'll get the results. In the mean time you should relax. Dad wants us all to go on a picnic tomorrow behind the club. There is some open space there. They are going to have a cricket match, if you feel up to it, I can teach you cricket tomorrow," he said with glee.

" Haha. Abhi nahin lagta ki main ja pungi. I will let you know," Khanak stated.

( Doesn't seem like I will be able to go at this point.)

" Toh ab kya karna hai?," he inquired.

" Pelhe toh mujhe fresh hona hai, phir koi flim hai dek ne ko?," she inquired.

( First I want to go get freshen up then maybe if there is a film to watch?)

" I'll arrange a movie. Will you be able to get up?," he inquired with concern.

" I'll try," she said as she lifted the blanket and moved the ice bag,

Shantanu grabbed a towel for her and then moved back towards her. She started to slowly get up from the bed. The pain was evident on her face. In one smooth motion he had her in his arms and placed the towel over her lap.

" Chalo Madam, aap ka naukar hain na," he declared.

She smiled brightly as he carried her into the bathroom. He put her down gently and let her lean on him as she washed her face and then handed her the towel to dry herself.

Less than an hour later, Shanatanu had found an American movie, which he assured Khanak was safe to watch.

" Don't worry it's pg-13," he assured her.

" Yeh pg-13 kya hota hai?," Khanak said.

Shantanu shook his head.

" Hello madamji! That means no one under thirteen can watch this without supervision. We are both in our twenties so we can watch this," he stated.

Khanak laughed.

"Okay then. Vaise naam kya hai film ka?"

" Knight and Day," Shantanu replied as he finished setting up. He handed her the popcorn and sat down beside her.

" This one should be good," he stated.

loved the romance in part 5......could soo imagine them covered with aata lol 😆........i hope her result is negative ......."knight n day" love that movie ....
