One can as well argue that devata includes Lord Brahma too. But if that was the case, then what was the need to mention Lord Brahma in the shloka explicitly? It means that it is not necessary that devata includes Lord Brahma. Similarly it is not necessary that it includes Lord Vishnu.

The Devtas are Lord Indra, Vayu, Agni, etc. Lord Vishnu is not a 'devta'. He is part of the Trimurti.

If I had to use the net, then I can out sooo many links which will state that Lord Krishna is supreme and cause of the generation of Lord Vishnu but I dont. Cause I dont believe in the net use while referring to scriptures

The info from the internet is the same that has been written from the book.

What rubbish. You claim that you have read scriptures. And if something is there in scriptures, you lie that it is not. You yourself quoted the following verse:-
Vavanda aatmanamanantmachado
Jishnushcha tadarshanjatsadhavasaha
Tavaha bhuma parmeshthinaam prabhur
Badhanjali sasmitamurjaya giraha

Read two verse before that. You will find
mahA mani vrAta kirIta kundala
prabhA-pariks?ipta-sahasra-kuntalam
pralamba chArv asta bhujam sa kaustubham
shrIvatsa-lakshmam vana-mAlaAvritam

Right, it should have been before. Anyway the word "srivatsa-lakshmam" is there.
What about the Bhagavatam verses from 1.3.1 to 1.3.25? These verses talk about different incarnations. Lord Balaram and Lord Krishna have been mentioned as the 19th and the 20th incarnations respectively.

ekonavimshe vimshatime
vrisnisu prApya janmanI
rAma-krishnAv iti bhuvo
bhagavAn aharad bharam (Bhagavatam 1.3.23)

And you must have read the story of the curse on Jay and Vijay by Kumar brothers (Sanak, Sanandan, Sanatan, Sanat) according to which Jay and Vijay had to take birth on Earth. Lord Vishnu said that He would incarnate during those births of Jay and Vijay. And Krishna incarnation is mentioned as one of these incarnations.
Hirankyakh was killed by boar incarnation and Hiranyakashipu by Nrisimha incarnation.
Ravan and Kumbhkarn were killed by Ram incarnation.
Dantvakra and Shishupal were killed by Krishna incarnation

If you combine the story of Krishna killing Dantvakra and Shishupal with the story of the curse by the Kumars, then it is quite clear that Krishna is one of the incarnations of Vishnu.
