Yes Chandraketu, you are right. Shatrughan never saw Sita. He only knew that a woman named Vandevi had given birth to twin boys on the day of his arrival in Valmikiji's arrival. If he had seen Luv and Kush, he would have felt it his duty to inform Shri Ram about his sons, but the babies' separation from their mother would have torn him too. That's why Valmikiji did not inform him about the birth of his nephews. It was best to keep their real identities secret. This story is supported by Dr. Ramanand Sagar in his Luv Kush serial.
@sharath rocha,
as for the Mandodari issue, it has already been discussed a lot before. I'll give you the link to the old thread. Read over it. Maybe it'll help. If you have any more doubts or want to discuss further, post in that thread, because this issue really has nothing to do whatsoever about this thread.

If you feel ur resources are reliable, then so be it.....u seriously need to chill!!!! But if u think my resources are wrong...then ur basically telling me that every member on this forum is wrong...believe it or not, this forum and its members are my BEST RESOURCES!!!! I dont doubt any of their knowledge....as GOD only gives a few the heart and mind to know such information of HIS good deeds and its those people who are able to share it with ppl like me who have limited resources but enough information to ask DESCENT questions and NOT MAKE DISGUSTING accusations about GOD!!!!!
So dont even tell me my resources are wrong!!!!!
PEACE!!!!

You mean 'if he had seen Sita'? He did see Luv & Kush, or how else could he have done the ceremony?

I'm showing the next clip above, where Sita sees Shatrughan (see after 2:20)

Many mistake ravan to be a absolute villain with no virtues at all. but in reality Ravan had his good qualities too. his only wekness was falling for Sita.which was fate. he was a very pious person n hard-core devotee of lord shiva.

infact there is a story according 2 which b4 the war between ram n ravan, sriram wanted 2 conduct a puja n needed a priest (purohit) n it was ravan who conducted tht. the king will gather more information regarding this story n present it for u.

@akhl: I don't understand y u cant just take care of this ongoing problem with this so called RF member (sharath rocha)........all he/she is doing is causing chaos in our forum for no reason & u keep asking him to prove it.........i'm reading some of the IF rules right now and some of them do ay not to have material or content that is offensive to any religion, race, or community or Derogatory Expressions.........and this exactly wut this so called member is doing and it seems as if nothing is being done bout it..........
u can see it threads created by this member that is obviously looking for flaws from our great lord!!!! seriously i m very active in this forum.....but i do go to other forums and see that if ne1 posts threads like this the mods of those particular forum are taking care of it and closing the topic.......
i'm not saying for u to close topics like DOTW or wut not.....but something like the ones created about Ramji eating meat (which we all know is a bunch of bull), Laxman napping during exile (big friggin woopdi doo......it shudn't be taken as a literal context that he wasnt allowed to), and last Vibhishan being a kul-drohi and marrying his own bhabi..
this makes our forum look so chaotic when ours shud be the most peaceful if nething since it is about our great lord!!!!!!!
Up until now i've been trying to ignore his threads, but now it looks like every post he makes there is only proof asked instead of warning him or just shutting his id down or wutever can be done to prevent negativity entering our forum!!!!!!

i totally agree with desichica (suniti) !!! when a member is hurting the religious sentiments of all th eother memebrs on the forum ,then the thread of tht memebr shud b immediately closed/trashed !!! no need of doing any further discussion !!! what ever discussions akhl want to continue by asking verses n all he can continue tht in the pm's but for heaven sake for the peace on the forum ,such threads which r hurting the majority of members on the forum shud b immediately closed/trashed !!!!!! instead of asking for the proofs openly ,all the proofs cud b discussed thru pm's n all !!!! & nobody has got that much time to waste in doing the endless stupid discussions !!!!!

the king has been to every forum in this site. whenever pak or muslims r attacked the posts r immediately closed. many topics after the mumbai massacre were closed n members warned. then y is the same action ot taken whn hiduism is attacked or our sentiments hurt. everybody shud have same rights isn't or r the mods like our politicians. only fearing tht the minorities will b hurt so go all the way 2 help them leaving the majority high n dry. the king never shys away from telling the truth. n the truth is always bitter.

Heehee😆. Yeah, I meant "if he had seen Sita". I must have bungled up the words. Thanks for pointing it out.
And offhand question: How do you post youtube videos without the link thing?

Good point. I too have seen how when one member insults Islam or Christianity, the mods are all, "How dare you!", but when Hinduism or its Gods are insulted, no one really responds. I think it is because we Hindus are way too lenient. We want to be accepting, and we want to be without enemies, so we are patient even if our religion is insulted, but sometimes, I feel enough is enough. I live in the USA (for those who do not know), and many Americans here have the opinion that Hindus are softies and pushovers. It's very hurtful to hear these comments, partly because sometimes I think it is true. We are too soft to those who hurt our religion, and it really should not be condoned. Our religion is not less to any of the others. I definitely do not think other religions should be insulted, or that insults to other religions should be condoned, but there should be equal treatment to all. How else would equality spread?
I am not blaming the mods of this forum, because I understand that sometimes, locking topics too much may look bad for the forum, and that some members may go to the admins or global mods to complain about their locked topics, but insulting religions and making deragotory statements is against IF rules, and it disrupts the peace of the forum. So in cases like this, I think topics should be locked the minute a deragatory term is used.
Like we already told "Certain Members", we are not against discussing certain actions of Ramayan characters in a peaceful manner, but when some members join the forum using unacceptable and inappropriate terms, he/she can't really expect a warm welcome with open arms. Just saying...
