Another intriguing factoid is that Ravan never thought of asking Lavanasura for help, such as invading Ayodhya in order to totally shatter Rama & Lakshman's confidence. He called allies like Mahiravan from Rasootal, but he never thought of asking the ruler of Madhupura to invade Kosala, which with Shiva's trishul, he'd surely have killed Bharat and Shatrughan and captured all the Raghukul womenfolk.

Thanks chandraketu ...
atlast everything was set by Lord that is why Ravan dint took his help
shatrughan never got chance to show his bravery , so here he got
chance and also for the reason that
Shatrughan on the way to Madhupura met Valmiki ji and spent a night
there and that night Lav-Kush was born ...
so shatrughan knew abt sons of Ramji
but he never informed Ramji ...

ones i posted this story i am posting it again😛

this is a story of much before ravan abducted sitaji😊
One day Deva rishi Naarad was coming back from Brahm Lok by skyway. Ravan was also going the same way. Seeing Narad Jee, Ravan greeted him joining his palms and said - "Hey Bhagvan, You know about all Lok. Kindly tell me that habitants of which Lok are the mightiest ones. With whom I can fight as I wish?"😡 Naarad Jee said - "Hey king of Rakshas, There is a continent named Shwet. There live very mighty and huge people. You can go there and fight with them." 😃
Ravan asked - "What is the reason that the mighty people are born there?" Narad Jee said - "Hey Rajan, They are not mighty because of doing Yagya or Tap, or giving donations, or living with discipline. In fact whoever were killed by Vishnu's Sharang bow, the same are born there being more mighty and live there. And they all worship Vishnu."😳
Hearing Narad Jee, Ravan thought for some time, then he went to Shwet Dweep to fight people there. 😡 Narad Jee also liked fights so he also went there. Ravan arrived there roaring on his Pushpak Vimaan.😆 But he was very surprised to see that even Pushpak Vimaan wouldn't stand there with the grace of that Dweep. Ravan's ministers got scared, they said - "We can't even tolerate the grace of this Dweep then how we will fight here?" and they ran away.😛😆
Then Ravan went on that Dweep alone. Seeing Ravan coming, a woman held his hand smiling and asked - "Whose son are you? And why have you come here?" Ravan angrily said - "My name is Raavan and I am Muni Vishravaa's son and I have come here with the desire of fight. But I am very surprised that I don't see any man here." Hearing Ravan one of the women there caught his hand and took him around like a boy and said to another woman - "Look, I have caught a black 10-headed 20-armed insect.😆" Ravan got angrier at this statement and he bit her hand. She left his hand, but another woman held his hand and flew in the sky along with him. She dropped him from there. Ravan fell into the sea and drowned.😆🤣 and never come back😆

this too i posted before and i am posting again here

the 10-headed infamous demon, was a greater scholar than Lord Ram. Not many people know abt the true meaning why ravan had 10 heads. The heads are the symbolic way to show thw world about his knowledge. He was fully aware of the contents of the six shastras. His knowledge of the six shastras and his knowledge of the four vedas (together ten) is the inner meaning of the belief that Ravana had ten heads. He even knew that Ram was Narayana himself, who had come in human form. However, since there was no other way for him to reach to Narayana, he had to cultivate wanton wickedness, violence and hatred, and invite Ram to kill him. Of course, this might be called a type of devotion that is stupid and infamous. But his inner aim was to cross the ocean of birth and death, through that act of self abnegation and surrender to Narayana. Scriptures also justify this argument: In the Bhagavata Purana, Ravana and his brother, Kumbakarna were said to be reincarnations of Jaya and Vijaya, gatekeepers at Vaikunth, the abode of Vishnu and were cursed to be born in Earth for their insolence. These gatekeepers refused entry to the Sanatha Kumara monks, who, because of their powers and austerity appeared as young children. For their insolence, the monks cursed them to be expelled from Vaikunta and to be born in Earth. The all-merciful Vishnu agreed that they should be punished but agreed to mitigate their curse. He asked them whether they would want to be undergo seven births as devotees of Vishnu or three births as enemies of the Lord. Since they wanted to get back as soon as possible, they agreed to be born in three births as enemies of God. In the first birth, Jaya and Vijaya were born as Hiranyakashipu and Hiranyaksha. Vishnu incarnated as Varaha and Narasimha and killed them both. In Treta Yuga they were born as Ravana and Kumbhakarna and were killed by Rama. Then in Dwapara yuga, and in their final birth, Jaya and Vijaya they were born as Shishupala and Dantavakra and killed by Sri Krishna.

Read ramayan first then come here to discuss😆. and i don't care whether you care or not. i already gave reasons to whatever i said, go and read it first. and i am not disregarding ram okay so don't spread this rumour. you said my story of ram drinking liquor is wrong this also proves you have never read ramayan. serials did not show every side and every stories so having knowledge from serial is not proper to have proper knowledge one should read the book😛

First of all, just because my avatar is Sitaji from Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, does not mean I only saw the serial and have never read the Ramayan. You can think what you want. Once again, I really don't care.😉
And everyone claims to have read Valmiki Ramayana. Then why do these difference occur, huh? I too have read the Ramayan (despite what you think😃) not once but many times, and as far as I know, Vibhishan DID NOT marry Mandodary, and Shri Ram did not drink liquor. Oh, by the way, liquor did not exist in the Treta Yug. Other kinds of toxic drinks existed, but not liquor (which is a drink that originated in the Kali Yug). So if you claim the Shri Ram drank liquor, it just prooves how much Ramayan you know.
Finally, ditto to you too. Read the Ramayan completely before coming here to discuss. Coming here with half knowledge, and calling Gods inappropriate names like playboy and coward are not acceptable. All the answers to your doubts are in the Ramayana itself, and if you analyze each character carefully, and read other puranas (many of which contain tiny but valuable stories about characters in the Ramayana), you will get your answers.
Good luck!⭐️

Vibhishan marrying or not marrying Mandodari is not a part of the topic of this thread. However, if you claim that what you are writing is from scripture, then you must tell the exact verse number.

Note: When I ask anybody to tell exact verse number, it does not prove that I disagree with them. I ask the verse number to be given so that the discussion can proceed further. Otherwise, both parties will keep on saying that they are right and the other is wrong and the discussion will be in a circle.

Shatrughan didn't see Sita (although she saw him, but was careful not to appear in front of him). Therefore, Shatrughan did not know that those babies were Rama's. Had he known, he'd have been torn between separating them from Sita, or leaving Rama in the dark about it, which is why he had to be left in the dark about it himself.

He performed the naming ceremony for the babies in Rama's absence, but Valmiki was careful not to reveal to him that they were Rama's kids.
