Part 7

Rani walked out of the washroom ready to leave with her head bent down as she fixed her sari and not noticing where she was going tripped on the edge of the carpet. She closed her eyes anticipating the fall when she felt two strong arms break her fall. She slowly opened her eyes to see Yudi staring her. She blushed at the look in his eyes that seemed to be looking into her soul. She held on to his arms as she pulled herself up and tried to walk away but he just pulled her close and hugged her saying, "Rani, yaad rakhiyega, kay aap chahe jitni bhi baar giren, aap dariye ga nahin kyun ke hum aap ko hamesha bacha lein gai." Rani looked down shyly as a pleased smile crossed her face and Yudi smiling at her said, "Waisay bhi aapko to lagta hai ghirne ki aadat ho gai hai." Rani remembered all the times she had fallen and he had caught her and gently pushed him away saying, "Chaliye, Sadhna aur Rajji humara intezaar kar rahe hongay. " Yudi just pulled her back saying, "Hum nahin jana chahte, hum to aapke saat samay bitana chahte hain." Rani just shook her head at his whining and said, "Kuwarji, aap agar abhi chalen gay to wapas aakar hum aapki koi si bhi baat maanlengay." Yudi hearing this said, "Hum jo bhi kahen gay aap maane gi?" Rani just nodded and laughed as Yudi grasped her hand and started walking towards the door pulling her along in his hurry.

They walked out see Raj and Sahna walking towards them. Sadhna and Rani hugged as Yudi and Raj shook each other hands and the two couples walked to their cars. They decided to have lunch at a small restaurant. Rani and Yudi sat next to each other with the others across them. Yudi immediately reached out and pulled one of Rani's hands onto his lap playing with her fingers. Rani looked down in surprise but didn't pull her hand away and continued to chat with Sadhna. Yudi started rubbing his thumb gently along the top of Rani's hand causing shivers to travel up her arm and she turned to look at him only to see him smiling as he talked to Raj. She tried to pull her hand away but he just held on tighter. She gave up when Sadhna called her name and gave her a knowing smile which caused her to blush. Sadhna just laughed and asked, "Rani, aap humare saath kal chalengi?"

"Kahan, Sadhna?"

"Hum sooch rahe the kay kuch shopping kar lein."

Rani looked at Yudi who along with Raj had been listening in. He nodded and Rani smiled turning back to Sadhna and agreeing with her. As they decided a time Raj said, "Lagta hai ke hum dono ki patniyan to hume akela chornay ki baatien kar rahi hai Yudi. Kyun na hum dono kuch talwaar bazi karlein jab yeh dono shopping pay jaingi?" The rest of the table laughed and Yudi agreed.

They all talked as they waited for their food and Yudi was glad to see Rani laughing so much. Raj noticed him staring at Rani and nudged him saying, "Yudi, Bhabhi ko dekhna band karo aur humse bhi to kuch baatien karo. Mein jaanta hoon kay mein Bhabhi jitna khoobsurat to nahin hoon laikin aik poorana dost to hoon." He laughed as Yudi blushed smiling at Rani who blushed with a pleased smile on her face looking down at her lap and staring at her and Yudi's hands that were still joined together and gently grasped his hand tighter feeling him tighten his told as well. Yudi turned back to Raj to say something but the waiter arrived with their food. They all started eating with Rani and Yudi only letting go when they needed to. Raj and Sadhna noticed their behaviour but just smiled at each other as they did the same. All to soon lunch was over and they walked out with Rani and Sadhna promising to meet the next day for a little shopping. They said their goodbyes and made their way back to their cars. As they walked Yudi noticed a small shop and told Rani to wait in the car saying that he would be right back. Rani was confused but agreed. Yudi returned with a bag in his hand but refused to tell Rani what was in it just smiling when she asked. When they arrived back at Yudi dropped Rani off at the cottage and told her he would be back as he needed to talk to the manager about something. Rani knew that she would not get anything out of him and agreed. She made her way to their bed and lay down deciding to rest her eyes as she waited for him.

Yudi made his way to the main building near the cottages and told the manager his plans and telling him exactly what he wanted. The manager agreed and promised him to do as he said. Yudi glad his plan was going well walked into the bedroom in the cottage to see Rani asleep on their bed. He walked over to her reaching out to stroke her face and leaning down to gently kiss her forehead. He felt bad waking her up but he knew he had to in order to make his plan work. He climbed into the bed next to her and putting his arms around her woke her up but calling her name softly while tracing a path from her forehead down her cheek to her neck gently kissing her there.

Rani woke up as she felt the brush of his lips against her face and heard him calling her name. She kept her eyes closed as he kissed her next savouring the feelings that were coursing through her body. Yudi pulled back and stroked her face and Rani opened her eyes to see him staring at her. Yudi almost decided then to give up his plan then but pulled himself away and sat up pulling Rani up as well.

He stroked her cheek lightly smiling as she closed her eyes at his touch and said, "Rani, aap jaiye aur fresh ho jaiye phir hum bahar chaliengay." Rani almost asked where they were going but seeing look on his face knew that she would not be getting any answers. She got off the bed walking away as Yudi started after her. He fell back on the bed and closed his eyes lying there as he waited for her to return.

Rani knew that Yudi was up to something but she also knew that she would be happy no matter what he had planned because he would never do anything that would hurt her or cause her to be unhappy. She would also be happy because she would be with him and that was all that mattered to her. He could ask her to follow him to hell and she would as long as they would be together. For her, living without him was now impossible and she realized that if he wasn't with her she would not be able to survive because without him life would lose its colour and become black and white. She looked back at him lying on the bed and walked back. She lovingly pressed her lips against his forehead kissing him and walking away as he opened his eyes in shock and stared at her his hand reaching up to touch his forehead.
