He turned his head suddenly toward her and Zoya froze..

the child is,as you can see ,unharmed .'

There was no evidence of warmth she thought she had seen in his face as he'd spoken to Saif; his eyes were drilled into her like a knives.

Thank u for returning him safely.'

Asad slipped saif down on floor. She dropped on her knees beside the boy and hugged him with one free arm, go inside, saif she said in relief.

Right then, thanks again, Zoya mumbled, guiltily avoiding contact with those unnerving dark eyes.

The awkward silence stretched, atleast awkward on her part.

You are a - friend of my brother's?' mingled with suspicion there was note of cynical resignation in his voice.

He clearly expected her to say something,she wanted to say something , something that would draw a firm line under this incident. Unfortunately her brain chose that moment to disconnect with her vocal chord.

Being left standing on doorstep was first for Asad, he was beginning to think this girl was not only the owner of the most sultry mouth he had ever seen, but stupid.

With a less vacant expression on her face she would probably be quite attractive. Actually almost beautiful, he mentally corrected, re-evaluating the small , appealing face with its tip-tilted nose, luminous eyes and wilful mouth upturned him.

You are friend of my brother? Asad disliked repeating himself almost as much as he disliked the idea of this girl knowing his brother, who was renown for his inability to see beyond a pretty face .

Friend ...? She thought and from his expression it was clear that Asad Ahmad Khan was also not liking idea of his brother asking her out or more than friend.

Actualy Ayan had asked her and made it plain that he was interested more than friend but she wasn't.

Asad watched her with narrow eyes, not stupid after all, or beautiful, but she had something more dangerous than beauty- she oozed sex appeal. A man looked at her mouth and wanted to kiss it, at her body and imagined it minus clothes ,but he thought cynically, when you combined a face and body like hers with a degree of animal cunning you didn't need to be genious to get what you wanted.

The question was did she want Ayan?not that this was a scenario he would countenance.

Asad was busy in staring and making thoughts about Zoya ,and she was busy with Aisha who suddenly wake up from her sleep. When zoya looked up she found the not-so-friendly neighbourhood billionaire playboy was watching with peculiar intensity. suddenly zoya become conscious of her dishevelled appearance.

She shifted aisha's weight and hitched her top up over her bare shoulder which is due to her cut-off tee shirt,which is now exposed by the restless baby. It promptly fell off the other shoulder. She began to repeat the process.

Save it.' A bored I've-seen-it-all-before drawl softly advised. I am not my brother.'

Huh ! Zoya was confused.
