Love your take on the whole episode and show Sage!
Appreciate your perspective. It's rare. ❤️

Happen to agree, Shaad to me is just another human being who seeks love and went about it the wrong way. He's not an evil human being and nor does he need to be established as such, he's just someone who didn't go about obtaining his love the right and noble way. He did it through lives, and I think we have all seen countless shows/movies to know that when a character obtains something/one with lies, they will lose it, no matter how much they want it and how much it has changed them.

Jannat/Sanam was meant to come into Shaad's life to not only produce an awesome SaHil love triangle (although it's definitely a HUGE reason), it's also to change his perspective as a human being. The most effective and dramatic way to do so is through love.

Don't commend his actions, but I don't condemn him as vile either.

On the other hand, nice to see Aahil not be butchered (hopefully now it's Sanam's turn, although I think Jannat was rather more like a very blank child than an adult). The cat-mouse game that ChuHil play is entertaining to watch vs a crying Aahil smudged under the wily thumb of S2's chudail control.

Also it's beautiful to finally see SaHil in the same screen space. Missed it. What a beautiful couple as always. Can't wait to see more.

Thanks !! Have missed you for quite some time!😳 hope you've been well...

Yeah.. we're getting so much SaHil and we should be happy.
i know Aahil has legal right to take her away but it's more pleasant when she comes back to him herself.

I remember him lamenting after his Ammi died. On whether he was worthy of Sanam and whether he could ever make it up to her. Now's his test.

"I know how to make you remember me... "
those words still ring in my ear... he's going to reveal her identity to her real soon looks, like (going by the promo) .. and Sanam2 will complicate things.

But... Sanam has seen Sanam2 at the airport and witnessed their argumentative vibes. Hopefully she's not too naive.

What am I saying. She's more naive now than ever

I always hoped that Lateef would help SaHil out. Maybe we'll get that this time.

I understand. You like your characters in clear black or white.grey characters make you feel conflicted.

It'd have been easier if Shaad was an outright baddie who pretended with Jannat to be good, maybe? And justification of his "goodness" makes you feel he is pretentious and even worse than the bad guys.

That's the writers trick, you see. Writing an evil kidnapper is boring.

Wow sagey, where did this come from?? I hv ALWAYS of the opinion that if Shaad's character was Grey i would hv connected with him pronto. SHOWING HIM FR WHAT HE IS ... Thats what all i have wanted, Hes a greyish to black character but he has been portrayed n received as a white , THATS MY PROBLEM,
I know the difference between white, grey and black, n i hv always liked Grey ones much better than the pure white n black, Aahil was a grey one initiallt, but i liked him cz he was portrayed as one, not did the makers tried to white wash hiz character flaws nor those who were watching, he transformed, that was the beauty,

If Shaad would hv been depicted as what he was, rather than being glorofied which he has been so many times now to the point of Butchering thr male lead is my problem here,

And i have previously too liked baddies n baddie romances too. . Not because i ENDORSE what they do , but because ITS THE WAY THEY ARE LIKE, not pretending not lying, ACCEPTING N LIKING FOR What they are

Sorry if I appeared judgemental earlier.

But who was it who painted him as white and pure?

I don't think Shaad fans' gushing should count. As far as I know, the people we often discuss with have never white washed him...

Sage thanks for clearing things up for me with regard to us...I was quite horrified that I offended you too much since I respect you are lot.
And KK, Juhi, Michy and Aiswariy?, thanks for replying to my comment and comments by others meant for me. My internet is again acting up late at nights as my ISP has informed me they are doing some upgrading and stuff so have not been able to answer to posts for the last 3 days after 11pm or so...

My post here was actually meant more as a kind of conclusive summary of how I see Shaad as viewed by this forum among Sahilians. I wasn't trying to be contentious here since me and others who think like me with regards to this have been doing the contending for the last 2 months or so on numerous occasions...
But nevertheless thanks for stepping in to back me up. Some issues I find hard to let go specially about things I feel deeply about...But Nafs is right...
Cvs won't change a thing just because we are against it...
And I have realized it back then which is why I stopped watching the show and left the forum too..

But I was kind of betting on that KV would not allow his character to be butchered again even if the cvs were not willing to acknowledge Shaads actions towards Jannat.

I thought by the time Sahil is brought back to the same frame they would have found a way to go around it like make Ahil not sure that this is Sanam and not have him know that this girl has memory loss OR Shaad would have let Sanam know the truth since he wants to make an honest relationship with her and start afresh.

Maybe those rumors about VT leaving the show is true which is why KV is putting up with his inconsistent character too for the time being...

Anyways, Nafs is right, I'll let those of you guys who are able to enjoy what is on offer with regards to Sahil enjoy without us being a thorn your side...😛😆

Lets see where the story is after another week or so.

I think she means the narrative Sagey. For the negatives, greys or whatever characters, the narrative, meaning how the other characters view them is always open.
And yes it is enjoyable to watch the negative ones. I too enjoy them. its good to watch them, with their negative traits at display and acknowledged by the writers and the other characters. Its good to watch their downfall too or if they improve, they are even better and a delight to watch.
Its like the writer telling us- hey this guy is bad. He is wrong and will be brought to task coz of his actions.
Aahil was a jerk earlier and we all including his fans, Sanam and the narrative called out on it.
Can you say the same about Shad? No ONE... has acknowledged his crimes. And I can debate to the end of earth if what he is doing is a crime or not.
Now I understand SA and would want what she wants, but I'll settle for less. Atleast make Aahil Acknowledge his wrongs in his monologue. Atleast make him put a question mark on Shad? Why is that denied.
And just like Shad's fan gushing about him don't count, similarly us non-fans berating him does not count. The writer, narrative, the characters need to do their job in this case.
Sorry, if I was not very coherent. I had similar views with regards to Seher not being brought to task by narrative, Aahil, Sanam, Rehan...etc, after her Aaher stint.
I think most of us are ranting because he will not be called out for what he is at all in the story . A very irresponsible way of story telling. Almost like the writer wants to say, hey he didn't get the girl. Sorry but that isn't enough. He needs to face public humiliation, be shamed or court marshaled for his actions.
but most importantly, Aahil needs to display concern for the vulnerable situation his family member is in. Why does he not dwell on the fact that this guy could have been brainwashing her, probably molesting her.
Also for Sanam to never question anything with regards to their marriage, they might even be sleeping together.. though that is not my foremost worry.

Oh no... you are an awesome forumwasi my dear.
I am not as polite as SA and sometimes go overboard in my rantings too. but your patience boggles me.
well if I promise to be nice and not rant, will you continue both your stories- remember me and tangled love?😳

^^^ Juhi...
Nice succinct and clear explanation. Thanks for that.

Jannat not questioning about her lost memories always rankled with me. I feel impatient and annoyed that she doesn't ask herself or Shaad anything.

Yet, within hours of Aahil finding her, he asked very pressing questions, questions she should have asked herself for months before. and he got rewarded by a fainting spell and reprimanded by Shaad.

Jannat never asked herself " Why is this man who claims to be my husband marrying another woman and hiding me in the room?" What made her run out super dramatically and stop the wedding like that? *grumbles*

Why is it that no one else is Shaad's family, in the name of bonding with her, asked her any questions about her family and asking to meet with them since she is now family??

Why didn't Sanam insist that Shaad now take her to see her family and seek blessings for their shotgun marriage?

WHy did Shaad have to lie SO Much !!

Yet, the dialogues make Shaad look justified, because he talks like an upright honorable man.
This is the problem right?

I agree somewhat that together with talking covertly with Sanam in Shaad's absence, the writers could have just added a monologue for Aahil, questioning Shaad's motives.

but they seem to have made the two men BFFs from the few hours talking in Dharamsala.😕

But Aahil is trying to get Sanam back. Covertly.

I think if Shaad were to contend , he would assert his right as lawfully wedded husband in a heartbeat.
