I know it has been month since I updated this story but believe me guys my exams just ended today and also my practicals are still in waiting list so I will be still irregular till I finished it altogether.
Hey I forgot to tell you all that the problem that me and my brother was facing is solved actually it ended month before but I was not active so...by the way a big fat thanks to all of you for praying for it.â¤ď¸đ¤
Now enough of my blabber and back to story
Chapter 9 - Past hurtsThis chapter is dedicated to everyone, each and every reader who likes and comentsđ¤â¤ď¸
Zoya stood near the window of her hotel room looking at the busy city drowning in darkness when she felt an unknown feeling, feeling of Asad it seems like his fragrance was in the air giving her heart his warmth. She looked over in her room but didn't find him so she looked outside the window to see if he is anywhere around and there he was standing with some traffic police, talking about something. Asad's betrayal again hit her head and the tears dropped from her eyes but before she could wipe them she saw Asad tilting his head to look up. She quickly hide behind the curtains feeling the pain all over her body
"no Zoya, no. You can't cry for something which is not your's. Don't...just don't cry"Zoya told herself taking deep breath again and again trying to calm her nerves
Asad was driving his car back to home. He was all lost in Zoya's memory and recent events thinking what has his life become, all messed up with no proper answer. Suddenly, he saw a traffic policeman stopping him, confuse he stopped his car and came out
"any problem?"Asad asked politely
"problem khud creat krte ho aur kehte ho any problem?"Traffic policeman said tauntingly
Asad looked at him confused
"arre bhai tum ghalat road pr car chla rhe ho"He told
Asad looked back to see that he was actually on wrong road, he closed his eyes sighing what has hapened to him? Suddenly gust of wind and sweet fragrance hit his nostrils, the fragrance that Zoya's presence hold and involuntarily he looked up at hotel's particular opened window that was giving him feeling of Zoya's presence but finding none he sighed and told himself
"she is not here! She left! Stop thinking about someone who is not for you"Zoya again looked from the window at the same place where Asad was standing sometime before but found the place deserted
"was he really there? Or I just imagined him?"Zoya whispered to herself
She hold her heart
"yes! He was here!"The words flew away with air in a deserted area
The car stopped with screech.
The slow tone of music played in background as Asad looked outside the window of his car while Zoya looked outside the window of her room
Kise poochun, hai aisa kyun
Bezubaan sa, ye jahaan haiAyaan opened the door of Siddiqui mainsion while Humaira walked inside getting blurred flashblack. Ayaan keep on looking at Humaira with pain while she observed the silent hall
Khushi ke pal, kahan dhoondhoon
Benishan sa, waqt bhi yahan haiFor the first time when Zoya fall in Asad arms on star shower night came across their mind as they looked at twinkling stars
Humaira teasing him in the same hall flashed infront of Ayaan's eyes
Jaane kitne labon pe gile hain
Zindagi se kayi faasle hain
Paseejte hain sapne kyun aankhon mein
Lakeer jab chhoote in haathon se yoon bewajahPicture of Asad with Tanveer came infront of Zoya eyes and tears make their ways while the time when Zoya left him came infront of Asad
His shouting on Humaira pierced his heart as he thought it to be reason of Humaira condition

aa gayi Hai laut ke sadaa"sirf tmhe pane ki thi tamana "Zoya whispered in low tone looking at sky
"sirf tmhe khush rakhne ki thi khwahish"Asad said looking at Zoya photo

Koi raah nazar mein na aaye
Dhadkan ne kahan dil chhod diya
Kahan chhode in jismoN ne saayeHumaira tried to remember her past but it returned hurt her
"why it hurts"Humaira said soflty
Ayaan heared it and closed his eyes in pain and said in low voice

Zoya get ready to leave for her another day search. Living in Bhopal has turned like a poison for her and she so wishes to get out of it as soon as possible but maybe Fate has another plans for her.
She decided to have lunch in cafeteria of hotel. She came out of her room and make her way for cafeteria when she start to have that feeling again but she just brushed it away for time-being
Zoya ordered her food and as she turned, she bumped into someone
"sorry"Zoya apologized but when she looked at those deep brown eyes her throat dried
Asad was working at night when her ami came for her answers but Asad just left the topic saying that he want time. After sometime he get a call from his sources that Zoya never went in New york that was shocked for him but he start to think about it when he got the call from his client to have meeting in ' Blue hotel ' Hearing the hotel name Asad's mind went back to the feeling of Zoya presence near that hotel so he quickly gave his nod.
He was looking around for a sign for her when he saw her entering the cafeteria and his heart stop as he observed her after days and how much she has changed. In a trance, with slow steps he walked towards her until he found her in his arms
"I miss you so much"Asad confessed looking in her eyes
Zoya jerked out of her heaven in Asad's eyes to the earth of reality. She quickly take a step backward
"what are you doing here?"Zoya asked adjusting her hair
"you lied to me! You never went New york!"Asad said looking at her intently
Zoya head shot up and she looked in his eyes sharply
"you lied to me at every step then what hapened if I did once that too when we both are seperated"Zoya asked sharply without any hint of pain
Asad felt chocked on her words, he felt like someone stab him but he knew he was at fault. He gulped his tears that formed in his eyes
"Zoya! We need to talk"Asad said slowly
Zoya felt butterflies in her stomach as she heared Asad calling her by her first name but she controlled her feelings because they are useless from her point
"there is nothing to talk Mr Khan!"Zoya said sternly but only she knew how difficult it was for her to control her pain
"please.."Asad pleaded
"I also used to plead you Mr Khan, to listen me once but you never did that! Then why should I?"Zoya asked accusingly
"but you are not me, you are Zoya and please Zoya just once"Asad said
Zoya wanted to say no but she knew she can't. She is not Asad Ahmed Khan who didn't listen but Zoya Farooquie who heared every word.
Zoya noded and Asad have a sigh of relief
Zoya sat on chair in a side table while Asad went to wrap up his meeting
what does he want to talk now? What is in his mind? Did Tanveer played another plan? Or is she exposed? How much Zoya wished that it was last option because maybe, maybe that will give them a new start
Drowned in her own thoughts Zoya didn't noticed Asad sitting beside her
"Zoya"Asad called out
Zoya jerked from her thoughts and looked at Asad
"what?"Zoya replied rudely
"I...wo"Asad tried to speak
"please Mr Khan, straight to point"Zoya said angrily
"Zoya mai sab kuch janna chahta hun, jo ilzam tm ne Tanveer par lagaye the wo kyun?"Asad speak up finally
Zoya went into silent for second. She looked at Asad trying to understand him and his words and most importantly reason
"ye...achanak kyun?"Zoya asked quietly looking down
"because I get to know that I wronged you without reason many times"Asad said silently but then added quietly
"also I want to know about the truth of Tanveer"Zoya looked at Asad and smiled brokenly
"sahy kaha h kisne jab khud par aty h tabhi insan ko akal aty h."Zoya taunt
Asad looked down guilty
"anyways it's your hell Mr Khan I don't want to be part of it anymore"Zoya stood up
Asad quickly hold Zoya hand
"please Zoya! It is about our future"Asad said
"there is no more us or our future Mr Khan"Zoya told
"please for once, give it a chance! Also I guess nothing hapened that night between me and Her"Asad confessed
Zoya frozed at his words, she looked at him sharply trying to read his words but sadly he was looking down guiltily, hiding his all emotions

Ayaan took the flower bouquet from the vase as he saw Humaira standing near pool.
Flashback
"kahn chale gye the ap, mehmanon k jane k bd?"Humaira asked folding her hands
"wo hum ap k liye flowers lene gye the Humaira begum. Bhut door se laye hain sirf ap k liye"Ayaan said flirtingly giving flowers bouquet
"ab ap laye hy hain to shukriya to kehna hy prega, thanks"Humaira said blushingly accepting the flowers
"hayeee"Ayaan said messing his hairs in his own style
Flashback endAyaan smiled but then realized it to be past dream. He inhaled deeply and walked towards Humaira
"kahn chale gye the ap?"Humaira asked pouting like child
Ayaan smiled seeing her pouting but then controlled himself and bring the past back
"ap k liye flowers lene gye the Humaira begum, bhut door se laye hain, sirf ap k liye"though his words lack the charm but they sound honest
Humaira gladly accepted the flowers
"wow. Humare liye, bhut khubsurat hain. Shukriya"Humaira said happily
Ayaan smiled and walked away giving the later job to Nuzzhat and Nikhat
"Humaira ye flowers?"Nikhat asked behaving clueless
"han Ayaan laye hain hmare liye bhut dooor se"Humaira said playing with flowers
"han bhut dooor se"Nikhat and Nuzzhat said smilingly, showing Humaira empty vase
"unhone hmse jhot kaha"Humaira said with tears
Nikhat and Nuzzhat smile faded they looked at each other
Nikhat - "Nhy Humaira! Aisy bat nhy h wo sach dil se tmhre liye laye hain"
Humaira smiled brigtly - "sacchi?"
Nikhat noded and Humaira smile grow widened but it faded as the same scene played infront of her again
