Q.H 2 dipped because there are many things which the Cvs are showing which are not working than things which are working.

I think mixing & showing song sequences hardly works. And it didn't work this time. It didn't work in Q.H 1 too.

This apart there are many things which are not accepted by the audience. The RaHaFa phoopi track is a big flop, Razia- Godwoman track is another track which is not working. So you see the OTT dramas are actually not working. Seher-Rehaan didn't yet get acceptance because the track is way unrealistic.

What can work is twists & turns focussing on the leads. But the major twist has been missing & the story of the leads remain unexplored. The only way to get TRPs is to progress with the story.

The last line of your response is what I meant to say.." The only way to get TRPs is to progress with the story" and that is precisely my point. The story has been at a stale mate for a while...they need to pick up pace with the story telling.

About the useless parallel tracks the least said the better...but they were always there even when we were at the top a few weeks back. We might not have had the Razia Billi drama then, but there was tons of tension with the Wedding track and the Nida, Billi , Aahil Sanam tug of war...now that's story telling.

I am not against romance or for Saas Bahu tactics...all I am saying is the story and script needs to be tighter and more gripping..by whichever means

I am not blaming the romance...me myself and I are the biggest Saahil fans...but yes, along with it...the story needed to move on...which doesn't seem to be the case in the past few episodes...

I agree the story hadn't budged. But I don't think you can put the blame on the excuse that families are not going to watch romance.

I don't think this is true.

1) Faiz-Haya Phoophie from the start was crude, that didn't affect ratings as much at it did now. Because there was other movement within the main setting of the story--Ibrahim Mansion (SaHil, Tanveer, Razia, etc etc) and Seher. I think was what was going on back then.

2) The physical aspect which needed to be switched off came this Tuesday. Not last week. Last week was Nothing big at all.

3) Those scenes by itself would not have affected if people weren't being bored with the rest of the story--meaning half of the episodes basically. There are plenty of physical dances which have been shown on television which didn't mean that week's ratings were affected.

They stagnated. I am saying it's not SaHIl romance. It's that there was nothing alongside it worth watching.

If they had actually shown Rehan-Seher in a better way instead of making them lose connectivity, then it wouldn't have been so bad. That first week of Rehan-Seher held up. But then what happened? It's because the story was going and went completely haywire.

So now they have half the episode taken up by something which the audience don't connect to and Phoophie.

Thankfully phoophie is gone. And luckily focus is back on Ibrahim Mansion.

And as they said in a promo released last week which hardly gets any airplay. Seher is somehow going to meet up with Sanam. This was not something they just pulled out of the air. They were getting to this, but they went about it completely the wrong way.

I have said over and over. I think the audience watches mostly for SaHil and Tanveer. I will stick to it.😆

Yes story with the leads. Last time when the TRPs increased romance was a big part o it. In fact in season 2 love story does play a big part. It is connected with the main plot. But the story of the leads remained unexplored. I guess today it moved. 😆

This show has an entirely different audience, as compared to other shows, and TRPs prove that ! Other shows are mainly sass bahu oriented and their TRP is solely depended on that sort of drama. Where as for QH its the romance between the leads that garners its specific audience, and any deviation from them plunges the ratings !

Ofcourse we have to compete with other shows but our weapon is different as compared to theirs ! Thats why i believe that we should stick to the initial SaHil formula that once increased our ratings.

More than a set story this show lacks in strong talented parallels ! Unlike other shows QH has the worst parallels that only further decrease TRP and than wait around for SaHil to save them 🥱 !

When I mean Tanveer, I don't mean Tanveer as the typical saas. i mean the way Tanveer is used within SaHil story. The most interesting thing on the show is Ibrahim Mansion. This includes in this order exactly SaHil, Tanveer and then the other things that happen whether it be Razia, Dilshad, Lateef, Khala Khalu. All those latter and also tied into SaHil and Tanveer and do not have a main plot of their own. When Razia got her own plot with that woman, it became boring very quick. Dilshad they are stuck, because if she is conscious then that means revelations have to come soon, so she too is used in relation with SaHil and Tanveer.

Starting from Kabristan, it wasn't just SaHil. It was also Tanveer tied to SaHil. There were about three or four episodes from Kabristan to Nikkah without Tanveer. That was Dargah, Farm House and Washing Machine Episodes.

That is it.

I believe SaHil is very much tied to Tanveer. I do believe that they could have shown SaHil by themselves with no problem, provided they had other stories and plots to focus on. Sunheri was one. And even that first week of Sunheri-Rehan was okay enough though problems cropped up that week itself.

But because they have nothing else, all they can do is tie SaHil to the main plot. And that's why you see this week the focus is back on SaHil and Tanveer.

And I don't think what they showed with Tanveer and Sanam today is Saas-Bahu. Tanveer is an outright vamp. Saas-Bahu is when the the leads and especially Bahu is stuck with a sense to be respectful to the saas. Sanam even today, when she was being attacked, yeah she didn't fight back. But she didn't keep quiet either. She answered back. She first was even a bit willing to be a little bit understanding considering this woman took the fall for her husband and went to jail for him and he worships her--so Sanam tried to reason with her.

But then the bombshell came down, which gives Sanam the reason for not paying heed to Begum Sahiba at all.

Only Saas-Bahu in QH2 so far has been phoophie.
