The TRP aunties that rule the charts...can't blame them cause in the past week the story didn't even move a measly inch. Yes...it was jackpot time for Sahil and Sehan lovers but lets face the bitter fact that the show's pace suffered.
We all romance lovers got the best scenes ever, but the aunties and uncles and families of daadis and bachchas...bet they simply changed the channel!!
Guess what ...the honeymoon period is over. The mice played while the cat was away 😆!! Now, from today onwards the message is loud n clear. The twists n turns galore starts...the romance takes a back seat...the drama takes over...
And if we want our show to run successfully we have to swallow the OTT melodrama and the billis and the razias and the twin saga and what not..cause we love this show...right??
I mean they gave us some fantastic scenes..now we simply have to zip up and be satisfied with a scene here and there cause after all we need this baby to climb the TRP ladder fast...
Funny though...all of us Saahil and Sehaan lovers are now sailing in the same boat...na humko romance milage na tumko...remember the saying the cat got away with the loot while the monkeys were busy fighting...😆!! So now both the factions can wipe each other's tears and hold hands while kahaani ke twist and turn give us a heartburn!! 😃
P.S...Looking at Tannu's Size Sannu ghooma ke ek lagaa ti...voh seedha swimming pool se hi bahaar aati...😛

Even some youngsters changed the channel as they were watching with their parents.

Very apt commentary.
Today was the climactic Saas-Bahu drama... Pushing, shoving, hand pulling, grimaces and foreboding revelations. The women fight it out, while the Man licks his wound in private...

Felt tired after today's episode.
You're right, nothing moved forward or backward.
Nawab's story still at the horizon.

Thunderstorm felt like a mild shower today...

I know...it can be so embarrassing when you watch shows with the whole family around...you simply have to change the channels in such scenes...😳

I guess if they have to remain a popular show this saas bahu pushing shoving has to be shoved down our throats too. Missed the men though...the whole show was practically taken over by the female brigade today.
And looking at todays TRP drop...just see them propel this forward at jet speed now...

Last week there was nothing that was needed to change the channel in terms of romance.
What was shown with Faiz-Haya was far worse than anything that was shown last week.

Only romance episode last week as Tuesday, that's it. And that was not anything different than what's shown in general.

Only thing that would've required to change channel was this Tuesday.

I agree that story didn't move. But I don't think it's SaHil romance that was the issue.

Lets just take the whole week ...the story seriously hasn't budged at all...be it Asya mystery track...or Badi Ammi in wheelchair with Raziya track...or Raziya finding Seher track...or Sanam finding Tanveer's involvement in Aahil murder mess track...nothing moved at all...
I am not blaming the romance...me myself and I are the biggest Saahil fans...but yes, along with it...the story needed to move on...which doesn't seem to be the case in the past few episodes...

Story is just one of the reasons for the TRP decreasing. Though we got SaHil, their scenes were mostly mixed with sehaan which put many viewers off ! More than the story i feel most of us and these so called TRP aunties (majority audience) watch only for SaHil !

Though im glad that the story is finally moving forward, i doubt a boost in TRP will be visible anytime soon.

For this show SaHil alone is the biggest contributor to TRPs. As even before when the story didnt progress the TRPs still increased because maximum focus was on SaHil.

- phuphi and rahafa are also to blame for the decrease. 😒

I am sorry I disagree. Correct me if I am wrong, when did Q.H 2 get TRPs by showing OTT melodrama of Billi & Razia? 😲. I guess it dropped in TRPs after Razia's entry.
Q.H 2 dipped because there are many things which the Cvs are showing which are not working than things which are working.
I think mixing & showing song sequences hardly works. And it didn't work this time. It didn't work in Q.H 1 too.
This apart there are many things which are not accepted by the audience. The RaHaFa phoopi track is a big flop, Razia- Godwoman track is another track which is not working. So you see the OTT dramas are actually not working. Seher-Rehaan didn't yet get acceptance because the track is way unrealistic.
What can work is twists & turns focussing on the leads. But the major twist has been missing & the story of the leads remain unexplored. The only way to get TRPs is to progress with the story.

I can't and won't deny that Saahil has worked wonders for this show...yippee!! 😃 And yes they are the main crowd pullers...but the slackened pace was felt. The problem is QH is pitted against the most popular shows on all channels...it faces tough competition and if you look at what the other shows in this slot had to offer..we will immediately know where it suffered..
Competing with the best shows in a prime time slot..we need to cater to one and all...And may be if they tighten the script...the trps will show a gradual increase...keeping my fingers crossed!!
