Zoya is what her character actually is! That lecture was awesome. one thing you can easily understand, Tanveer the traditional Miss Salwar Kameez But whats her character? she rapes her best friend! So does it even matter how pardansheen women she is by her clothes? i know there's lots of debate argument conservative & islamic view to this! But as a viewers at that point i did not feel Zoya need to give any explanation of wearing mini skirt to Asad. That was her clothes not her character to give any explanations. Sorry i am not making any sense coz i think my minds are blank at this point 😆 If you take things seriously then its offensive for many muslim viewers to see Zoya wearing mini skirt. But Zoya wanted to show her character matters most. she should not be judged by whatever she wears...

Thanx yari.. Atleast got sumthng in mouse mind 😆

Rohit, don't you think you are getting too personal?

Why should I have to produce my own show, to post a comment or to be able to disagree with some of the content of the show? Is it a taboo here?

Since you now have now mentioned about Zoya then let me tell you that decent people would disagree with you and not think it was 'fab' to show any Muslim woman wearing tight jeans or short mini skirts exposing her flesh to strange men's gazes.

Wearing short mini skirts (or very tight jeans) is clearly not the image of a decent, respectable, woman in any culture, society or religion, clearly not in Islam, not even in Christinaity or Judaism, and for that mater, I think not even in Hinduism.
i was clapping when Zoya said 'Its my clothes not my character'
What is there to clap about being half naked? We have a clear ethical code in Islam about modesty & chastity, (which every decent Muslim woman already knows about) including, not wearing tight, revealing, short or thin exposing clothes where it can excite any strange or unrelated man's sexual desires. Islam is about good character, virtues & moral principals not about about being half naked or being proud of your nudity & exiting men's lower desires which doesn't at all show any good character.
I don see the offenders when muslim actress wears Bikinis and they are reported drunk drug addicts etc... none seems to care.. then why to take some fictional character like Zoya n Sanam so seriously what they wears

So unless I live somewhere where I see a drunk Muslim woman dressed in bikinis and report her then according to you,I should not pass a comment about this show? Is this not the right forum? Of course it's fictional drama and that is why I posted about a character in Qubool Hai on the 'Qubool Hai' forum.

Sanam was FORCED to wear a bikini when clearly she didn't want to. No decent Muslim woman with a strong sense of (good, moral) character shown in Sanam would ever succumb to anyone daring her to be half naked in short mini skirts. In the first place she would never leave the home and hurt those she loves, especially not someone who is old or sick and she is 'responsible' to.

I just want to say one thing don't try to find any logic or sense in daily soaps dear. They are far from reality.I am not making fun of you or criticizing you.I know it is very natural when we see any thing stupid and illogical we feel bad.But this is the fact that there are hardly any Indian show that have logic and sense. So don't feel sad and enjoy your life. All the best and keep smiling 😊

It wasn't a lecture at all, but defensiveness. It's not a case only about Muslim men lowering their gaze, but also Muslim women not dressing in tight revealing clothes to deliberately provoke male's sensual desires. It showed her ignorance, her clear lack of concern & understanding on Islamic creed, practice & piety by choosing to clothe in tight or revealing nature which clearly goes beyond the boundaries & guidelines set within Islam & showed little, if any Islamic adab, while living in the house of a male host.

A computer literate, martial arts expert, like Zoya, who knows the five pillars of Islam & can pray salah, should be able to know how to get her basic information about Islamic morals, ethics & practice, even from the web.

'Ignorance is bliss.'

Coming to Sanam and Aahil. There was nothing wrong with Sanam wearing her work uniform. That was not obscene in any way.

I do not call that a uniform - period. 'Sanam' was compelled to wear a mini skirt which went against her beliefs. This does not show a responsible strong character that is meant to depict Sanam.

If it is not promiscuous or obscene then why did the first woman interviewed by Ahil, not agree to change her dress?

Decent, upright women do not sell themselves to male employers or dress half-naked, for anything in the world.
