Heyya dear!
I agree with you, the place where QH 1 stopped wasn't that great. The show was really good until she got Zoya and Ayaan married and it kind of lost it's charm. There were some good points in the show that I hadn't seen in others,
When zoya defends herself against some thugs by singing with them.
Being a strong girl infront of male chauvinists
But as soon as the marriage track stared, the strong willed character of zoya changed, and most people including me didn't like it and we all know what happened after, I don't think killing Asad and Zoya was part of her original script.
But unfortunately things ended where they did. Though there isn't much logic as to the family members and stuff, the show is doing pretty well, pace wise. They aren't dragging out things like season 1.
As far as my opinion on Zoya's mini skirt, maybe it was a way to show that even though mini skirts might not be the modest or more proper of clothes. The girl has good values. Her clothes don't reflect her culture or her respect for her religion but her character does? Do you know what I mean?
And Sanam's skirt, she had to wear it out of an obligation. She left the home where she and her family were robbed of their land and money. She needed to make money and support the family that she came away from. For someone in that sort of distress, she didn't have much of an option.
Well I hope this season runs better, and they keep up the pace and fill up loopholes :)
