these lines were ❤️

You left me
That is true
I left you
That too, is true

and these were touching n moving

A drop of dew
A drop too few
A mighty might
A feeble fight
Lonely nights
Tears of plight
Trembling hearts
Shatter apart
Life's a moment
But it's now all white
Come one night
Came one knight

keep writing,.. and making people love yah,..😳

Dreams are meant to be lived happily otherwise it was just a bad dream! Treat it like that!

I just spent last week with two of our widowed friends--both the husbands were fighter pilots and we were all together in the squadron which is like one big family- our home away from home!
Overnight all their dreams turned sour due to the evil hands of fate-Air Crashes while training. RIP. One passed away in 1984 when the wife was just 25 yrs old with two children - one 3 yrs and the other 11 months old. The other lost her husband in 1987 and was left with again two children who were a little older but both families were overnight removed from our safe haven to fight the big bad world. The children are now grown up, married and well settled --a real support for their lovely Mothers who fought all the odds to bring them up to be lovely human beings! But the two lovely ladies have not moved on themselves...they are still living in that idyllic dream they had spun many years ago. As a result they are lonely and what they lack is companionship. I had to be very firm and tell the younger one who is exactly a decade younger than me to the day to not block her mind to accepting someone to share all the little pleasures that life throws up! (Sadly the elder one has cancer hence we had the get together!)

So Saima dear you must move on too because dreams are meant to be lived... too soon for you but keep an open mind...things can only get better! and little Zainab is there to delight you at every phase ---till she flies away! because only if you let them fly do they come back!

Love you and hugs...

I don't know you, that is true.
But how I wish I did.

I know it's not too late for that.

I see Sis Saima calls you Api..and considering that you've got children my age, I'm guessing a term equivalent to Mum is what I ought to call you.

In my country there are a few words which means mother-
Ibu, Emak, Mak...

I'm Farz.

I simply have to say thank you for summing up this drabble of ours and interestingly, you've captured the essence of the poem (I'll be shifting from drabble to poem..we can't decide what it is, thus the term, Poetic Drabble)

Dreams are meant to be lived happily otherwise it was just a bad dream!

And I have to also thank you for such thoughtful advice to my sisterjaan! I tell her the same, maybe coming from you it's more authoritative, though I've been told enough times that I'm quite the old soul!

Thank you for your response in this thread!

Hugs!
