Since the chapter was AsYa focused, not that I'm complaining 😳 I would start with the Sunshine of this story:
"He cradled her in one arm and stared at her..."
This father and daughter duo - Cuteness personified. 😎
"Unmindful about how her parents were losing sleep worrying about her..."
Realization, once again!, Mr. Khan 👏
Coming back to the other 2 stars of this chapter:
"Stop with the sorry Zoya, why are you sorry? You don't need to be...I need to thank you, but I am not.. you know why?"
Acceptance: This stood out, this character has progressed immensely, its commendable. Cant help but fall in love with this specimen after every chapter progresses! ☺️ Thanks for keeping AAK alive! 👏
"...loving Aahana and loving you..."
Zoya's first explicit declaration to Asad, it may not have been one of a confession in true essence but it was her 1st to him. ❤️
"I can't go away Mr Khan. You may never accept me, may never love me the way I do.. It's okay Mr Khan, I'll bear it all. But I can't leave you behind, I can't leave my daughter behind. And even if it hurts you, the truth is.. that she is my daughter, and I won't let anyone change that."
This was unexpected and amazing in every sense - a reaction soo true to human nature. 😲 Every highlighted word was just phenomenal ⭐️ Asad's lioness, cub statement held true here, after that incident, her maternal instincts wouldn't have allowed her to leave.
"Just Aahana? Not me?"
She just regained consciousnesses, what are you throwing at her her Mr. Khan - you are so true to your basic characteristics. 😆
"Sweetheart" & "Silly Ammi" - Once again stood out as reference from previous chapters. ☺️ Asad's repeated use of "Silly Ammi" was too damn endearing - I could imagine him saying it - in those warm fuzzy feeling type of voice. 😉
So glad Zoya's love gives Asad the strength to move past his insecurities and he was able to clarify why he wants to marry her, why he said what he had said to Ammi and the reason for his withdrawal on the night she revealed her scar. ❤️ Zoya did mention Ayesha, I thought he would explicitly clarify Zoya was his first love, but he did say this so I guess she would have understood: "I love you because you made me realize first time in my life, what love is all about."
"I want you here, because I love you.. I love you Zoya. I love you because I can't live without you, I love you because you barged into my life and turned it upside down, but turned it the good way. I love you because you make me have sweet milky coffee just to make me realize how there is another flavour to life than bitter. I love you because you made me realize first time in my life, what love is all about. How it's all about giving your everything and not expecting anything in return.. you've given so much love and not asked anything in return? But I want to shower all that love on you too, that you deserve and that is growing in me, for you every day. I love you .. I always did, but didn't realize.. "
Every word here was just awesome - how do you manage to do this? 👏 👏 👏 I have said this before and I'll say it again - amazing work on the dialogues.
"...my love, my admiration for you grew to an extent my heart couldn't bear."
"If anything happens to you when you're away, I wouldn't be able to be by your side. But if you're here I will be able to shield you from every pain that's about to come to you my Miss Musibat.."
The feeling which Asad felt and expressed also held essence to what Zoya felt with Aahana, which lead to her beseeching him to let her stay behind for Aahana.
Outstanding dialogues and scenes that I loved therafter:
"You will never lose me Zoya, never lose your.. our family and never lose our Aahana.."
" Be with me, sleep next to me.. "
"I know you won't, you can't even if you want to.."
They lay in each other's arms.. in complete silence, cherishing the moment, revering in the happiness of confessing their love for each other, feeling content.
"Sshh Abbu's here baby.. you're safe, your Ammi saved you baby.."
"Mi!" - This is one of the reasons, she manages to overshadow AsYa! 😉 Can this baby get any more adorable... 😃
She kissed her soft tufts of hair, and hid her face in the tiny crook of her neck, taking in her baby scent and assuring herself of her safety just like Asad had a few moments ago. Asad smiled staring at the two of them, unable to describe what he was feeling witnessing the endearing sight.
""Yes baby" Zoya cooed as Aahana finally stopped crying and placed her tiny hands on Zoya's chin and kissed it," I love you Aanu.." she whispered. Aahana just lay her head on her mother's chest and sighed softly making Asad laugh."
"I love you Mr Khan.."
"I love you Mr Khan, because you're a man full of love, but doesn't know how to express it. Because you get angry when you're worried, because you shout when you're concerned, because you fight with me for myself, because you're Akdu Ahmed Khan." she said laughing, making him laugh too.." I love you because your silence speaks louder than your words ever could. I love you because you have my sweet milky coffee without an argument, allowing me barge to into your life to turn it upside down. I love you because even though you're scared to love you have so much of it in you to give to others, even children you don't know, who aren't related to you. Because even after all that you have gone through you still want to make sure no one else goes through what you did. I love the way you love your family, your daughter, and ME.. even though I didn't realize it till now.."
Both their confessions and bicker afterwards were AsYa personified and personalized to their basic characteristics. I had the same reaction as Aahana 😛 - Wonderful, it was!
I loved all the diminutive elements, little detail skillfully added - contributes to the beautiful narrative. ⭐️
