I for one would not have invested my time in this show if I knew the lead was going to ditch the show after a year!

Everyone knew he had a one year contract but almost all were counting on extension and didnt take it seriously. 😆 Its common to have 1 year contracts for actors and then they later extend. Ofcourse only if they would like to. Shilpa anand, sukirti (ridhimas of DMG) chose not to extend their contracts and left DMG after their contract expired.
