Ok, this is not going to be a "trading post" kwim? 😉
I think what you are saying is that this really is between rashid and dilshad. Thats the only way it makes sense, sense of dilshads behaviour. The episode train has certainly built up to this. Asad tells rashid, some things cannot be discussed, you just gotta do it. Nuzzhat tells dilshad once in love always in love. Asya in the house, asya in the garden, asya at the table, smiley sandwiches, ... The writers really threw the book at dishad! 😆

And yeah, shireen is never gonna agree. Neither is Asad, nor Ayaan. But for different reasons and thats what makes for the nuances of this track.

If we are completely ignoring the real world, and are not going to don morality hats saying.. Asad must forgive because he was forgiven, then I may not disagree so vehemently with this dramatic premise.

However, let it not be said that Asad does not understand his mother. He knows the connection between dilshad and rashid is deep. Thats why he went to siddiqui farm when she was shot. Thats why he let him in the hospital room, and into the house post recovery. Thats why he went insane when he thought that rashid was behind the shooting. He could not make sense of the fact that on the one hand his mother revived when rashid stepped into the hospital, and on the other he seemed to be the one behind the plot! His last conversation reflects that... He knows his mother will not refuse his father, but he does not want her doing something she does not want, that is facing the gorgeous shireen and razia everyday at sm. Perhaps thats his way of telling her that this house is hers, so maybe she can extend the invitation to Rashid.. I know I am stretching here. I actually think Asad is realistic enough to realise his mothers feelings.

Shireens reasoning is simple. Guilt, fear, nemesis.

Aur rahi baat zoya ki... The best advice she can give him right now is ... listen. Listen to what your father has to say first. Wait for the fall out patiently. Take deep breaths. But listen. And I will listen with you.

I just really hope she does not judge him or label him! That is too harsh a stick for a man who has right now regressed into his childhood, and is clawing at rationality for his mothers sake.

Zoya will not judge...😳let us not judge Zoya first...😆

If she judges, Asad will be giving her reasons to..

👏I loved that point U brought about Asad knowing what Dilshad wants..in that case, he thinks his mother is blind to Rashid's faults...when he is the one blind to his repentance...

More than being realistic to what is awaiting her in SM, I think Asad is just being blind...because he perceives Rashid only to be a danger. But what motive would Rashid have to ask for Dilshad back? That is why he comes up with this theory that Rashid has emotionally blackmailed her...took advantage of her feelings...that is why he is trying to reassure her that he will do everything in power to make her life complete..he does NOT REALISE SHE FEELS ADHOORI...he can never get it!

Soup, there is a spoiler that says Zoya calls Asad selfish when he refuses to understand Dilshad's POV and since then mission bash Zoe has been going on 😆
Its an FB spoiler so I don't know how reliable it is

Shrey,

1. Asad is not letting his mother go because of fear of what Rashid can do..BREAK HER HEART AGAIN...but he cannot be blind to that man's repentance also. Dilshad will be back...but Rashid will be the one crying this time.

2. Rashid is not trying to DIE IN PEACE...He has been making small attempts at reconciliation...just that, now he knows he NEEDS TO SPEED THINGS UP...he does not have the 'time' he thought he had...he has been wanting to correct his mistakes for a long time..

Rashid has clearly repented...so many times he has tried to beg for forgiveness...and Dilshad has granted him just that. And now Rashid wants to give her the respect that is due a FIRST WIFE...so her children will not be called a chhodi huyi aurat's children...an act of penance Asad declines in his pride. He does not need Rashid Ahmed Khan...sadly, Dilshad still needs him, as much as Rashid needs her...not for the title or honour...just for the only man she ever loved.

And now, life has thrown another difficult situation in her face, where she has to choose between a repentant man and an unfoprgiving son..and she chooses...she can never win any way...she has always only lost in life.

She could win...if Asad learned to forgive too...things would be perfect for Dilshad for once, if that were to happen.

AND THE BIGGEST POINT HERE IS THAT THERE IS NOTHING RASHID CAN DO TO DESERVE FORGIVENESS...

@ enlarged... How has he repented ???? By asking Dilshad to come and live with him as the sauten to his 1st wife or to live with her sauten in the house of sauten's moh bola bhai. If thats repentence , the world would not have much of a problem forgiving.

How has he repented??? By talking to Dilshad on the sly and emotionally blackmailing her to accept living with him because he is dying( which he is not, he was discharged the very same day) due to a mild heart attack( Known people who live 20 yrs or more after this kind of attack) when he could have right the wrong by declaring he was wrong towards her and his children in front of all SM residents as well as KV and Quereshi's and he wants to ask for forgiveness and amend the wrong. He may have garnered some forgiveness. Now Dilashad can hear the brunt of Razia's words and Shireen's Taane's in his absence so how has he repented????

Rashid has repented HOW??? He knows that Asad will be upset and is right in being upset cause he is the one who shouldered the responsibility of his father from a very tender age, than should he not have spoken to Asad and made him understand before talking to Dilshad. Should he not understand that it has been him all along who hurt them and not other way around. If this is called repentance than the world maybe coming to an end.

@ RED ... It is rather too late to worry about the stigma of the chodi hui aurat as i think Asad has garnered enough respect in society for it to even make a difference. Both the children have found their partners and are no longer affected with that stigma. So why now Rashid Ahmed Khan??? Why not when your Bimbo wife was insulting Dilshad and her children in a wedding hall with many from the society watching and hearing the insults , curses and degrading remarks about her, Why not then.?? You already knew you had wronged your 1st family at that point of time so why not then.?? I suppose you did not know that you were dying than ( he aint dying)

Are you doing it now cause you repent and want to right the wrong or you are doing it cause you do not want to die with the guilt of having hurt Dilshad??? What about your kids, who need you to right the wrong towards them more than Dilshad. She after all was an adult but those 2 kids of yours are the ones that grew up without a father and having to listen to remarks of the chodi hui aurat ke bache. Does not that son who fathered his mum and baby sister from the tender age of 10 while you were busy making new babies and living a hoity toity lifestyle at SM deserve the due respect of having a choice of forgiving or accepting your repentance .

If what Rashid is doing and is accepted as an act of penance than i think end of the world is rather close.

. Things will never be perfect for Dilshad. For deserting her Gem of a son who sacrificed his own childhood for his mother and sister, things will never be perfect for Dilshad. She is now forever cursed to have tears. She left her everything to be with nothing( Rashid can't even provide her a home of his own). She left her strength to be with her weakness. Life will never be perfect for Dilshad.

@Green.. Yes there is nothing he can do as of now since he just worsened the situation further. He does not deserve it either. He does not need too, cause it never made a difference to him that his son hated him. He lived his life in total comforts.

I am not here to upset anyone but i spoke out as the POV of a wife and POV of a Mother and POV of a child, and i have,😉 am 😊and will be all 3 😃for sometime more

Edited your reply to No 12, That is the islamic law which i extracted from the net.. There are more reasons as to He not providing for her financially for a period of 1 year is also a point to get an automatic divorce. Not treating both his wifes equally in all terms of responsibility as a husband again adds to the fact that Dilshad is no longer his wife legally or islamically.
