He knows that Asad will be upset and is right in being upset cause he is the one who shouldered the responsibility of his father from a very tender age, than should he not have spoken to Asad and made him understand before talking to Dilshad. Both the children have found their partners and are no longer affected with that stigma. So why now Rashid Ahmed Khan??? Why not when your Bimbo wife was insulting Dilshad and her children in a wedding hall with many from the society watching and hearing the insults , curses and degrading remarks about her, Why not then.?? There are more reasons as to He not providing for her financially for a period of 1 year is also a point to get an automatic divorce. Not treating both his wifes equally in all terms of responsibility as a husband again adds to the fact that Dilshad is no longer his wife legally or islamically.</font>
