There are many many illiterate people in India who would take a serial and it's initial message as the gospel truth. Yes agreed that Zoya the character did not open her mouth and that was the doing of the PH and or her CVS. If they had made her open her mouth and stand her stand, it would not have been so bad cause it would not have shown women to be such whimsical creatures of this place called earth. I may have been misconstrued in my message but i am and will always be against any kind of injustice to women, children, elderly and even animals for that matter. If it is shown in fictional or non fictional my thoughts remain the same.

First of all, she never started it off as some moral show. It's a drama where she will have to show both logical and illogical twists to run the show. If she wants to pass a message, obviously she will have to build a damn track and then send the message loud and clear in the end! That's how it is in the movies, stories, books as well so how is it different here? Zoya didn't opne her mouth because Cvs and PH told her not to so remind who writes Asad and Ayaan's character? For that matter everyone else's as well? Can this Cvs , PH excuse used only for Zoya? You said injustice to everyone except men. SO you're okay with injustice done to men? or are they not humans? Oh well whatever the case be, your beliefs. Good for you!!

Yes i do make comments or other post and they may sound childish, cynical or totally misleading but that is just to keep the flow of humor and thread. Purely entertainment. Likewise i too think that even on this post the discussion was merely on the serial and then everyone starts getting uptight . Everyone has their know POV and if you guys do not like mine , i can't force you. I shall remember to never comment on your post again. Apologies extended.

As long as I haven't personally attacked you, I don't think I needa give explanations. Sure everyone has their POV, just like I have mine. I am not forcing mine you neither am I stopping you to state yours. SO why the fuss? Is it because I disagreed and quoted you? Then maybe you should've put a disclaimer and I wouldn't have. LOL do you think I'm gunna force you to comment on my posts? You're free to post wherever you want. I could care less and don't apologize to me. I don't get what you're apologizing for but I haven't accused of you anything as such for you to apologize to me!

Lastly i do not even think i should be arguing here since many of the members are students or just very young adults who seem to think that if the have vast knowledge of the English Vocabulary, they know what reality is all about. When you live abroad and and don't know the mentality of a general Indian citizen, it would not be fair to make any kind of judgments.

And you're the one to know what we have seen in our life and what we have not? Who knows maybe I have seen much more at the age of 19, then you have at the age of 50? & I, very well, understand the sentiments of Indian citizen we all. SO I guess it's better not to make personal comments without knowing the truth!

P.S Since it was not trade please advice me to what that exchange was???? Maybe i am too daft at the age of almost 50...

Definition of 'Trade'

A basic economic concept that involves multiple parties participating in the voluntary negotiation and then the exchange of one's goods and services for desired goods and services that someone else possesses. The advent of money as a medium of exchange has allowed trade to be conducted in a manner that is much simpler and effective compared to earlier forms of trade, such as bartering.

See that's the definition of just trade. There's a reason why there's a term called 'human trafficking' when it comes to human trade instead of using just 'trade'. This trade talks about goods and services not humans unless you think humans are goods.

P.S.: You seriously took away the main essence of the discussion by making personal remarks. & Then you call us youngsters. Oh the irony!

Goods and services and services can be provided by Humans. In this case Zoya's services to act as Asad legally wedded wife in order to safe their sister. Personal temarks were not made . Show me one remark directed at anyone in particular.

I believe i have also rendered an apology. What's wrong to refering to youngsters as youngsters??

I believe there were more direct insults and remarks towards me than i have rendered towards anyone in Particular. Yeah maybe my grey cells are in context with my grey hair but it took much life experiences to obtain those gray hair.😊

If with age comes ignorance regarding facetious comparisons between grave social issues and a fictional show, then I'm better off as a youngster. Also, I fail to see how anyone's age is relevant to the fact that this comparison is wrong, from a social as well as logical standpoint.

As for your false assumption, it happens so that we "youngsters" need to attend college and universities to educate ourselves. God forbid our lack of education lead to ignorance.

Also, fun fact of the day for you. It has been scientifically proven that sleeping is necessary in order to purge our minds of the nonsense we have accumulated throughout the day. I found sleep inevitable after certain discussions I had last night. Indulge yourself. You might like it too.

In agreement with Sheila ji, there was one comment I hated: When Dilshaad said you had no write on her, specially as she was not married to you yet. It is these subtle hints on male dominance that hurt the woman in me. I know vice versa is true and Dilshaad would say the same about Asad being owned by Zoya so I dont blame her at all. I know that it was not human trafficking as such and perhaps the term was too harsh to use, but I also agree with Sheilaji's comment that the way this track was portrayed really objectifies women and sends wrong signals to younger (and more impressionable) and illiterate audiences. Yes, these things do stand and happen in the society but we need not glorify masochist behavior in the name of love/sacrifice. Sadly this is a drama and any feedback will fall on deaf ears, but it would be great if this track was dealt differently:

1. Either show love triangle from the beginning. Would make for great drama: Asad sacrificing his silent love for Zoya etc... with Zoya not realizing it at all that Asad loved her... nor Ayaan realizing this. Great conflict for Humeira and Zoya (for Humeira to hate Zoya!!!) and then for wonderful story when Zoya finally divorces Ayaan and goes to Asad for comfort and sees a new man. Original synopsis meant Asad would be engaged to Tanu - who was all dressed traditional buta misfit - again great potential to teach him importance of not judging a book by its cover.Original plot was great. Thanks to trp greed, AsYa established as a couple, Tanu track overhyperextended and now after months of waiting original story forced due to two illogical haan haans... Fans cant appreciate this...

2. Or now that you showed this twist, show women stand up for themselves. Do not glorify suicidal tendencies, masochism but make them stand up for them.

Will that happen? NO!

Will I pull my hair watching QH? Not Anymore.

Will I enjoy the drama? Perhaps not.

Will I still look for logic and read posts? Ofcourse, for feeding my own intellectual appetite, Yes, for sure!

Lets keep the debate going - because no matter how beaten to death a topic or a particular complaint is,e verytime I read a POV, I learn a new way of looking at that same argument.

Go watch the first episode - how the laid foundation for Zoyaan... But sadly they extended that and now how they served us masala khichadi, lol. :) Just sit back, and chill. :) and keep posting.

SO according to your logic, in this case Zoya agreed as well. So what's the fuss about? Btw what you're terming as service is sacrificing in my dictionary.

^ This isn't a personal remark then what is it? You can make personal remarks all you want but they took away the main discussion.

I believe i have also rendered an apology. What's wrong to refering to youngsters as youngsters??

As I said I do not why you were apologizing and what for at that moment in the post. You didn't need to. & There's nothing wrong in referring youngsters as youngsters but your comment was more than just referring us as youngsters. You can check for yourself.

I believe there were more direct insults and remarks towards me than i have rendered towards anyone in Particular. Yeah maybe my grey cells are in context with my grey hair but it took much life experiences to obtain those gray hair.😊

I haven't made a single personal remark towards you and if I have, please do show me where. Your personal remarks need not be offensive but they definitely took away the main discussion as I mentioned many times. No comments on the last part.
