Say what? I'm not the only one to have embarrassed myself in front of my crushes, well, CRUSH (because I've crushed on this one guy for as long as I can remember. sweet, eh? IT'S TRUE LOVE!)
YESS! Life will be so much easier now! ( no, seriously!)So should I or should I not give you a peek in my "awkward" love life?Well here's a little something to give you an idea...It was 9th grade (The year we first met) andd I was a pretty awkward child back then (I'm not gonna lie, I still am to some extent) Anywho so 9th grade, we had this party thing (It was a sort of farewell party for my English teacher) and one of my friends decided to bring a cake. A CAKE. We all know what comes after that, when a bunch of 14 year olds are presented with a cake with little or no adult supervision they think it's cool to rub it on each other's face. So my frenemie at that time thought she should do me the honors and well me being the puffed up Raina Ahmed Khan I was, couldn't take it. With the thought "how dare she do that to me" in my head and a piece of cake in my hand I ran after her without looking left or right. The dismissal bell rings, she runs outside the building with 50 million other people, all watching. I grab her by the collar, she decides not to stop , I lose balance, grab onto her collar even tighter, she still runs and drags me with her and then realizes I'm on my knees (being dragged) and finally stops, RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. Yay me. and as I was helped (not by my crush, he was just watching bewildered) I realized my pants got ripped from the knees. Tadda. and Mind you , I'm from a Muslim family. So I go by the no skin-show policy. Anywho next morning I was scratched pretty bad (But I still decided to go to school or else people would have thought I was embarrassed , which I was, but still couldn't let it show) So I go to school and I was greeted by my principal who noticed I could barely walk and asked a guy walking by to carry my books for me ( guess who the guy was!) Yes him. Now that I think about it, it was pretty cute him carrying my books and all but at that time it was pretty embarrassing. We both didn't say anything, It was like the longest walk of my life lol but yea, little did I know it was just the beginning of oh so many embarrassing incidents!
