How to embarrass yourself in front of your crush
(and/or boyfriend or husband because let's face it--a relationship does not end the madness that is you)
(The QH Edition)
Before I get into my life, I want to list my top Zoya embarrassing herself in front of Asad moment- I... I'm feeling, I'm feeling--SIX PACK?
I rest my case. But seriously that was like hysterical. I died. Probably have watched the scene a couple billion times. Imagine if you did that in front of the guy you liked.
Anyways, here are my stories. Feel free to ROFL'literally. This will be very unorganized and ramble-ish because my feels will most likely pour out while I'm describing each dreadful embarrassing moment.
1. This was back in middle school, god I feel old, anyways so I really liked this guy and we were like good friends but not like close friends. We had the same group of friends too so that helped. So anyways, my best friend had this idea (now keep in mind we hardcore believed in Bollywood at this time) that as a gesture of romance (idk what I was thinking, I was 13 alright!) I should like streak a small side of his face with my Holi color. You know romantic like in the movies. So here I, idiotic, young, and in "crush", walk over to his locker and tell him I want to tell him something and that he has to come by my locker if he wants to know. But he was like no, tell me here (he was standing next to a lady-friend BTW) so I being the idiot I was said "FINE" and grabbed the little ziplock bag in my locker, shoved my hand into it and just THREW literally THREW a handful onto his face. I don't know what came over me but it didn't end up looking like the movies and I like squeeled IM SORRY! And then ran away to the farthest girls bathroom from there even though there was one right behind me and like hid there until I felt really bad I got a bunch of wet napkins for him and ran back and continuously was like "I'm sorry," because I didn't know how to explain what I just did and he didn't tell on me (THANK THE LORD) because it would have been pretty embarrassing explaining that to a teacher. And later I made up the excuse by saying it was a dare from Palak which I made her go along with and he just laughed and made me promise if I were to ever do that again I would make sure it wouldn't go into his mouth and I died from embarrassment.
God I'm like blushing here remembering how stupid I was. Also note that my boyfriend right now was there at the time because we were friends in middle school too so he knows about all of this. GOD WHY AM I SO STUPID.
ANYWAYS'.
Moving on to high-school,
2. There was this one time in 10th grade where I liked this guy and he was kind of not badass but like not sweet and simple either. Basically he liked a lot of flirting. And I was pretty much as good at flirting as Asad Miyan (not very good). So I realized he really liked playful girls so one day we were eating lunch and I don't remember but I got "mad" at him for something and to be "playful" and "flirty" I crumpled a piece of paper and threw it at him (everyone did that btw) and said "You're so annoying!" and because I'm the most unlucky person in the world, the lunch-supervisor-person-thing saw ME of all the BILLION other people he HAD to see me and came over and gave me 20 second lecture on how I'm not supposed to do that and IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING IN FRONT OF HIM. Like there goes my chance to be "flirty" and "fun" in front of him. I don't know if this makes much sense but getting scolded in front of the person I like is REALLY EMBARRASSING to me. And then I was like sorry, it won't happen again and the dude walked away and then the guy I was crushing on silently handed me my paper ball back and I died internally from embarrassment and for the first time waited for lunch end.
3. For the same guy again once again we were at lunch, and I needed to get his notes to copy from because I was out sick for a week and we both had History together so he asked me to join him in the walk to his locker (which later on I realized was like a 'special couple moment' in our high school but I didn't know shit back then) and I mean you must be thinking OMG THIS IS YOUR MOMENT but no. Again I don't know what came over me but I literally jumped up out of my seat and literally shouted I CANT COME TO YOUR LOCKER I DON'T LIKE YOU. And needless to say everyone looked at me like I had 2013 heads. I don't even know what the hell I was doing, I just tended to act like a complete moron around him. I don't even know why I said that, I mean I did like him! And not only did I embarrass myself in front of him, I embarrassed him as I voiced the unspoken truth of why a guy would ask you to walk with him to his locker, a truth I didn't even know about at the time! Gosh! I'm dying just thinking about how I felt at that moment and gosh (asdkjlfhaskdfjh INTERNALLY DYING FROM EMBARRASSMENT)
I ended up going out with this boy for a while in junior year but we both realized that we were just meant to be good friends and we weren't cut out for a relationship, we still talk and it's not that awkward, don't worry so if you need to end it, end it because if you do it right, you won't lose a friend and you'll feel a lot better.
Moving on' I probably have a few more embarrassing moments I can't think of with that boy. He was like my high-school highlight.
4. Here is my top embarrassing story- alright so I'm currently dating a guy and we've known each other for a really long time and he's witnessed most of these embarrassing moments because we usually hung out with the same people. Anyways, so, let's call him Bob. So in senior year I decided to set him up with my other friend (the one that gave me the holi color idea, yes that genius). Obviously it didn't work out but just the fact that I once did that is really embarrassing considering I was the one who ended up dating him. This one you won't really feel my embarrassment because you don't know me, but I've been told by my friends (and also feel) that's probably the most embarrassing fact of my life.
Anyways, now the boyfriend edition. What did I plan on calling him? Oh yeah, Bob.

5. I'm too embarrassed to even write this. Actually I wrote it and erased it three times but alright I can do this. I never told anyone this but here goes. Ok so I was on the phone with my best friend (the holi color genius) and we were ranting about guys and gushing over celebs. Anyways so we started talking about Bollywood actors, and at this one point in the conversation I was like (PLEASE don't judge me! Fangirls in general--well at least I--say this kind of stuff all the time, I'm not a pervert I swear!) "Well to be honest I find Ranveer Singh's abs delish! I mean who wouldn't mind licking cream off of those beauties? I wonder if he named them? DID YOU SEE HIS LOW WAISTED SWIMSUIT SHOT IN LADIES VS. RICKY BEHL?" (Oh god I feel perverted for telling you this but oh well, if I'm bearing myself might as well go all the way, you understand don't you my loves?)
And so anyways, it isn't hard to predict but yes, you got it right--Bob was standing right there, behind me, as if he had just been looted of his innocence.
I still blush left right and center when I think about this. GOD IM DYING FROM EMBARRASSMENT! WHY AM I SO ABNORMAL!!!
ANYWAYS it's pretty late here, so I shall add more if I remember.
