He still thinks Tannu is an angel right?😆 So his behavior with Tannu honestly doesn't add up..

he is selfish with tannu also...honestly if u see usko kuch khaas padi nahi hai tannu ki...😆..agar woh 'jammy main maa banne ne waali hoon' nahi bolti toh Jammy chal diya tha Zoya se nikaah karne...Asad is a complicated man...more than the rest of them in QH...i do not see it as an assassination of his character..Asad was never the ideal man...only his heart was and is still pure...

there is a dialogue from the Dark Knight...the Joker says it to the Batman...

'when the chips are down...these civilized people will eat each other'...that is the most basic truth of a human being..chahe woh koi bhi ho...self preservation is the key to survival

Ah you are very convincing man😆 I still think it would have been a lot more realistic if there was some awkwardness in their interactions cos its kinda hard to believe that he was back to calling her Tannu even after being convinced that he forced himself on her😆

Thanks...😆

i wouldn't say he is too shocked to realize how comfortable he is being with tannu...from where i see it..he could not care less whether she existed or not...he is too busy to even behave awkward with her...pre occupied with Zoya

From where I see it he didn't want her back in his life, because he has accepted the fact that he does not deserve her. IMO he only wanted to talk to her once, ask for forgiveness to feel less burdened than he was. He had wanted to when she left the Khan mansion, he wanted to when he found her at the madrasa (excuse me if I spelled that wrong) and he wanted to talk to her once and for all when he met her at Ajmer. He's told her he doesn't know if she'll ever want to meet him, see his face again or talk to him but he has to tell her whats in his heart and he did. I don't think he ever intended to pursue her. His prayer at the dargah was heartfelt because he loves Zoya and in spite of everything he wanted some miracle to have her back in his life, doesn't mean he'd go all out ti pursue her if he knows he is wrong :P

Even if I know I wrote crap in a paper I keep praying that I clear the exam so yeah ^😆

But the fact that he said 'please' clearly indicates that he asked for a second chance right?😆 I don fault the reaction..Thats how humans work..But am just surprised that Asad reacted that way😆

@ rogerrocks.. you have raised a very valid point regarding Asad's character.
@starsinmyeyes, i liked the way you have analyzed Asad.. well done. only one point i cannot agree. that is asad is acting selfish.. may be a little.. but i think his behaviour here is not due to selfishness..

Asad is having conflict of emotions... he confessed to Zoya at ajmer because he simply wanted Zoya to knwo how he he feels about her.. he feels that Zoya deserved to know that truth.. he does want Zoya to be in his life, but when he confessed he did not expect anything in return.. even though he said please, he did not really expect her to come back to him.. that was that moment.. but yea he did pray at darga for Zoya's return in his life also.. so he does definitely wanted Zoya back.. that is because i think he feels that what ever happened between him and Tanu was an unfortunate incident.. and Tanu was later acting as if she was ok with it.. and she was a married woman.. so its not like Asad was the cause of her loss of virginity.. he did say initially say to her that he will not let anything happen to her.. then later he was too depressed by the loss of Zoya and the only thing that was on his mind is finding Zoya..so may be yea he is a bit selfish..but this selfishness arose from his need for Zoya and the fact that tanu was acting as if she was ok with what ever happened that night and it was just an unfortunate event that happened between him and a woman who was married before .

but now his decision to marry tanu is because of a baby which is entirely different than just sleeping with a woman who as married and who acted as if she was ok with it.. tanu made sure that he felt guilty by stressing on the word responsibility and her drama of hum dono jheelenge.. if she hadn't stressed on that word, i feel Asad wouldn't have taken this decision so soon. he would again have been torn by conflict of emotions wondering what to do because his need for Zoya is too much and he cannot let Zoya go away so easily.. and he would have delayed his desicion and perhaps even discussed it with Zoya.. but his emotions are being played upon by Tanu and although Zoya says that Asad is emotionally challenged, Asad is actually always driven by emotions and does things based on his emotions.. mangalpur, stopping Zoya at airport , Rashid's court case all are examples.

hey kaussar...thanks for liking the analysis

See..i do not say Asad is selfish in a demeaning fashion...you are looking at things from Asad's point of view..I am looking from both their points of view...imagine yourself in Zoya's place...we know Asad has been victimized..she does not

Objectively think...someone hurts u beyond repair...and comes and confesses his love knowing fully well that its not going to go anywhere..and may be even hurt u? What would u term it? He agrees to marriage and then calls it off without an explanation...will u be in any position to give him a benefit of doubt?

Asad and Zoya's relationship is so amazing because even after all the crap they have gone through...Asad still remains as dense, as protective of Zoya as he was before (he takes all decisions based on what 'he' thinks is good for her) and Zoya is as trusting of Asad as she was before...

Being a little selfish only makes u more human...that's why i love AAK

Please was for a lot of reasons, not acceptance, he wanted to be forgiven of his forgiveness to be accepted. And as far as his interactions with Tanveer are concerned, in the last one whole month he hasn't managed to look into her eyes really, shows the awkwardness there 😆

Roger,

Asad did not pursue Zoya immediately. He knew he deserved her hatred...but then she went away...without a word...he was not expecting a patch up...in one month he realised one thing. No one has to tell him that he committed a huge mistake. HE KNOWS. BUt Tanveer is a married woman...unless she demands, there is no need for him to marry her.

When he found Zoya did not want to meet him, at the orphanage, HE RESPECTED HER WISHES...but he could not keep away..he wanted to make sure she was fine...something anything...to MAKE HER FEEL ALRIGHT- get her hasee back.

And then he found her in the brick wall- another incidentthat told him how precious she was to him- in spite of everything- his own tameez and Tahzeeb, his heart could not stop feeling her pain...(Notable here is that Zoya does not feel Asad's pain at that time- she feels only hers- understandably-...whereas Asad carries both their burdens.)

In one month, Asad as he said, jee raha tha...par sirf sasein le raha tha. And there was no way to right the wrong with Tanver, since she is already a married woman. He was disgusted with her when Z left...that look of hatred- he did wish she never existed...but the fact is, he could not lkick her out- KNOWING ABOUT ALL THE MURDER ATTEMPTS ON HER- and punishing her FOR HIS MISTAKE- theerfore he did not think in teh direction of throwing Tanver out or marying her. But he stopped speaking to her- thats why she had to be a peeping tom😉.

When he left for Ajmer, he did not tell her, and even in the car he did not entertain her much- HE CANNOT HATE HER, yet he can never be friends with her, because she has taken Zoya away- rather, him and Tanveer have taken Z away...

At Ajmer: He asked for one thing, even when he knew he did not deserve it- ZOYA...and it looked like his prayers were answered by the God himself, whenshe came back miraculously...alas! He was mistaken- God again showed him the direction he was to take withTanveer's pregnancy- the fact that it was revealed to him, even when she tried to hide it 🤢 , could be a sign from above that his sin will not GO UNPUNISHED...that ZOYA WILL BE NEVER HIS...it is a lifetime punishment for him, and HE ACCEPTS IT...added to thta, the responsibility he has towards a child he fathered- unfortunate, and without LOVE, nevertheless he has to accept the child, not let it grow up elsewhere to be emotionally scarred like him...and he does not want Zoya to know all this...he just wants her to plain hate him, and leave...let het believe this love was NOT WORTH ANY TROUBLE- if she HATES HIM< IT'D BE EASIER FOR HER TO MOVE ON...(I think U R fine with Monday- just for completion😉)

Don't bash Gul...😭😆
