One of them, I guess is the awkwardness. This is the same Asad who averted his eyes when Tanveer's dupatta slid off her shoulder. They were childhood friends, have physical contact too. And suddenly he's not awkward anymore? Has he changed or has he not?
Its very confusing.

Exactly..While i understand that Asad might be selfish in confessing to Zoya, his total lack of awkwardness in his interactions with Tannu baffles me😆 The only reason why he was ignoring her was because he was lost in his own thoughts about Zoya..Nothing to do with his guilt about supposedly ruining his best friend's life or the fact that he forced himself on her..And yup, for someone like Asad, doing the deed with another girl on the day of his marriage is a bid deal..So am really not able to explain the lack of awkwardness😆

Yeah.
He was ignoring Tanveer for a month. Was guilty only because he hurt Zoya. For all the tehzeeb talks he's often given, he never tried to set things right since what he did is almost equal to a sin.
As starsinmyeyes will reply saying "He's flawed. He's selfish." I agree but he prided himself for principles. So the two don't add up and that is the character assasination we are talking about.

It seemed like Asad felt guilty only because he broke Zoya's heart and she is living a cursed life in an orphanage..The emphasis was more on the consequences of the act than the act itself..It seems like Asad wouldn't even have dwelt upon it if Zoya had forgiven him and married him asap😆 It does make Asad look like a hypocrite..He is flawed yes but he always prided himself for his principles and practiced what he preached..I was always under the impression that more than Zoya, it would be Asad who would run away from the relationship once he is convinced of the betrayal..Its more a flaw in the writing than Asad himself😆

The whole thing is a flaw in the writing
The creatives decided they want Asad or anyone to act that way.
We are the ones who are considering and judging like he's alive. 😆

Lol..I knew you would come up with this cos Asad is their creation at the end of the day😆 What i meant was its useless to bash or defend the characters since the writers have decided to dumb down the leads and prolong this track cos they seem to love Tanveer😆

Well, it kinda lessens the burden you know.
Leave it all to them and I don't need to break my head over it. 😆

I don't understand who's been feeding them info that Tanveer track is being liked by viewers. If they love Tanveer, then I .. I.. I dunno... Words fail me there.
Or maybe they aren't just getting any new ideas so this is a way of buying time.
Either way they need to up their game soon. The show still has a long way to go.

Its actually sad that they have to rely on an OTT actress and crass dialogues to prolong the show😆 Tanveer needs to be thrown out but the writers seem to live in an alternate universe where people drool over Jammy and Tannu😆

Gosh! How I cringe everytime I hear those dialogues. And nowhere do I see lust or desire in her expressions.

They won't really be that stupid. The chemistry between the leads has always been their USP.
They think that the dragging and separation creates an emotional bond. Always the leads were together no matter what. This is the first time they've strayed. A little bit of experimenting is not harmful but viewers will ultimately loose patience.

Thanks vrohee and rogerrocks...i am glad i am convincing😆...yep with all his pride and his principles why is he not awkward with Tanveer?? That is the million dollar question...

Asad showed his displeasure at Tanveer early on...he kept his distance from her...has been in his own shell...simply not bothered to care where she is...for about a month till he found Zoya...

Everyone has been so upset at why Asad is not awkward with Tannu?
Kya awkwardness chahte ho batao...he is not looking her in the eye for so long now...and amazingly since the day their marriage was called off the 1st time..Asad ne do hi baare mein toh baat ki hai usse...what happened that night and he found Zoya (that was more impulsive)...so the only conversations that he has struck with her are the ones that involve that fateful night...the first time he wanted to find out what happened..the second time he told her he found Zoya and he was more interested if Tanveer can forgive and forget...and the 3rd time...he was ready too go get married...he flatly told her, i cannot lose Zoya again...yeh jo saare uske principles hai na...yeh Zoya ke aate hi tel lagaane chale jaate hain😆...

he just pretends to be separate, to have his own code of ethics, tameez and tehzeeb...but deep down he is still a man for whom the ends justify the means...and only his means...for example...Zoya's impulsiveness cannot be forgiven but he can 'impulsively' get engaged and later fake it...😆...Asad is the sexy, brooding, 100 shades of grey kinda guy...something now...something else entirely later...expect zilch from him and he will surprise u every single time

Ah you did it again😆 I really wish ppl were this receptive of opposing views and at the same time put forth their own opinion in such a convincing manner😆 Btw, its not exactly about Asad's principles or what Asad shows himself to be to the world and what he is in reality..Its more to do with logic and character consistency..For instance, if i believed i did the deed with a guy, i would defo feel awkward around him😆 Btw, he ignored Tanveer only because he was preoccupied with his own thoughts about Zoya..I don think it was any conscious effort on his part..Again, his guilt seemed to stem from the consequences of his act rather than the act itself..As i mentioned earlier, if Zoya had forgiven him on that very day, i doubt we would have seen this much regret😆 And i do think this is inconsistent with his general character sketch..
