See..i do not say Asad is selfish in a demeaning fashion...you are looking at things from Asad's point of view..I am looking from both their points of view...imagine yourself in Zoya's place...we know Asad has been victimized..she does not

Objectively think...someone hurts u beyond repair...and comes and confesses his love knowing fully well that its not going to go anywhere..and may be even hurt u? What would u term it? He agrees to marriage and then calls it off without an explanation...will u be in any position to give him a benefit of doubt?

Asad and Zoya's relationship is so amazing because even after all the crap they have gone through...Asad still remains as dense, as protective of Zoya as he was before (he takes all decisions based on what 'he' thinks is good for her) and Zoya is as trusting of Asad as she was before...

Being a little selfish only makes u more human...that's why i love AAK

hey i know that you did not mean it in a demeaning way.. i understand Zoya's point of view.. agree with you.. from Zoya's point of view she would see Asad as somewhat selfish and if we view him from Zoya's point of view we would also see him as selfish.. but we know things that Zoya doesn't know... i was discussing Asad from a viewer's point of view.. how we can analyze and conclude Asad and his behavior just based on Asad and his feelings, without seeing things from Zoya's point of view..

yea their relationship is amazing and humans are always selfish.😉

true that..but we need to analyze him from within the boundaries of the story...because we as viewers will always know what he will discover later...and we would end up deducing him wrongly...hai na? we as viewers will always be a few steps ahead...and Asad's behaviour will be influenced by people around him...he is not isolated...so his feelings are never his own creation...they are more like his reactions...😊

hey
i dont know if u have drawn the conclusion on the basis of reading written update or after watching d show because if u'll watch it u'll realise asad was not even looking billi while talking with her. he looks everywhere but her. earlier he use to tolerate her as a friend n now tolerating it cos of guilt.
asad is too occupied with his guilt dt wts happening around him he hardly cares for it. he just wanted to convey his feelings once to zoya which he couldnt do earlier he never had the intension of asking her to return back in his life.
all his brain can think is he betrayed his love he has become rashid part2 he cant think beyond this cos acc to him his greatest fears have become true so he is just thinking about.
P.s hope zoya isnt trading asad in precap i agree if not for asad atleast for dilshaad n najma she shudnt do it.

Roger,

Asad did not pursue Zoya immediately. He knew he deserved her hatred...but then she went away...without a word...he was not expecting a patch up...in one month he realised one thing. No one has to tell him that he committed a huge mistake. HE KNOWS. BUt Tanveer is a married woman...unless she demands, there is no need for him to marry her.

When he found Zoya did not want to meet him, at the orphanage, HE RESPECTED HER WISHES...but he could not keep away..he wanted to make sure she was fine...something anything...to MAKE HER FEEL ALRIGHT- get her hasee back.

And then he found her in the brick wall- another incidentthat told him how precious she was to him- in spite of everything- his own tameez and Tahzeeb, his heart could not stop feeling her pain...(Notable here is that Zoya does not feel Asad's pain at that time- she feels only hers- understandably-...whereas Asad carries both their burdens.)

In one month, Asad as he said, jee raha tha...par sirf sasein le raha tha. And there was no way to right the wrong with Tanver, since she is already a married woman. He was disgusted with her when Z left...that look of hatred- he did wish she never existed...but the fact is, he could not lkick her out- KNOWING ABOUT ALL THE MURDER ATTEMPTS ON HER- and punishing her FOR HIS MISTAKE- theerfore he did not think in teh direction of throwing Tanver out or marying her. But he stopped speaking to her- thats why she had to be a peeping tom😉.

When he left for Ajmer, he did not tell her, and even in the car he did not entertain her much- HE CANNOT HATE HER, yet he can never be friends with her, because she has taken Zoya away- rather, him and Tanveer have taken Z away...

At Ajmer: He asked for one thing, even when he knew he did not deserve it- ZOYA...and it looked like his prayers were answered by the God himself, whenshe came back miraculously...alas! He was mistaken- God again showed him the direction he was to take withTanveer's pregnancy- the fact that it was revealed to him, even when she tried to hide it 🤢 , could be a sign from above that his sin will not GO UNPUNISHED...that ZOYA WILL BE NEVER HIS...it is a lifetime punishment for him, and HE ACCEPTS IT...added to thta, the responsibility he has towards a child he fathered- unfortunate, and without LOVE, nevertheless he has to accept the child, not let it grow up elsewhere to be emotionally scarred like him...and he does not want Zoya to know all this...he just wants her to plain hate him, and leave...let het believe this love was NOT WORTH ANY TROUBLE- if she HATES HIM< IT'D BE EASIER FOR HER TO MOVE ON...(I think U R fine with Monday- just for completion😉)

Don't bash Gul...😭😆

Yup i think he was totally in character yesterday😆 I just had problems with his behavior with Tannu😆 Its impossible not to bash Gul when she is busy shoving that bitch down our throats😆

Aah...love you for this post! Very valid question. This show is showing such convoluted "story" that such crucial point are slipping from viewer's minds (Makers ke mind main to aise points aate hi nahi). Is that what the makers are banking on?

Nice post, Rogie and no you are completely making sense. This is not flow in Asad character but writing here. If he forced himself why no fake shame on Tanveer's face ever, I hate how could he let her stay in the same house😡...
We can side him as much as we want and try to rationalize his actions but the fact is his behavior has been contradicting. Or I should say they skipped lot of scenes in their greed to show us overdose of Tanveer..

😆
She is very convincing. Had a long discussion with her yesterday. Had to agree with all her points but there's still something that's holding me back. I've still been trying to understand what's bothering me.
One of them, I guess is the awkwardness. This is the same Asad who averted his eyes when Tanveer's dupatta slid off her shoulder. They were childhood friends, have physical contact too. And suddenly he's not awkward anymore? Has he changed or has he not?
Its very confusing.
