Lovely post, Di!You have put the whole episode into words very beautifully.
Love the way you measured both Dargah scenes. Both are quite the same yet different. Aapne itna khoobsurati se bhol diya 👏that I do not want to ruin it by using more/other words.
For me, QH has already a lot of scenes which I will remember as one of the best. Today's scene of Asad's breakdown in front of his ammi adds to the list. Kya amazing scene tha and I admire KSG more and more for his talent, his performance and sheer brilliance. OUTSTANDING!
I agree, he has to change the environment around him. Aur mujhe poora yakeen hai that he will do so dheere dheere. The man has already changed quite a lot in comparison to his initial days.
The wall he broke yesterday could also be seen as the wall he had built around himself, protecting himself from falling in love. The imaginary wall might not break that easy, but it will fall for sure. Zoya has already broke down most of the bricks but the rest is up to the man himself: Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan.
Dargah scene: I do not know if it has to do with being a Muslim myself (I guess not, since I also have to cry when Hindu's are praying to their Baghwan) but this scene also brought tears into my eyes. Not tears of happiness, not tears of sadness but tears of hope and strength. Be it a dargah/masjid, temple, church or any other holy/religious place, it always makes me emotional because that is the power of God/Allah: to make you realize your mistakes/sins, to repent, to ask for forgiveness and eventually to make you stronger and show you the right path.
