Lovely post, Di!

You have put the whole episode into words very beautifully.

Love the way you measured both Dargah scenes. Both are quite the same yet different. Aapne itna khoobsurati se bhol diya 👏that I do not want to ruin it by using more/other words.

For me, QH has already a lot of scenes which I will remember as one of the best. Today's scene of Asad's breakdown in front of his ammi adds to the list. Kya amazing scene tha and I admire KSG more and more for his talent, his performance and sheer brilliance. OUTSTANDING!
I agree, he has to change the environment around him. Aur mujhe poora yakeen hai that he will do so dheere dheere. The man has already changed quite a lot in comparison to his initial days.
The wall he broke yesterday could also be seen as the wall he had built around himself, protecting himself from falling in love. The imaginary wall might not break that easy, but it will fall for sure. Zoya has already broke down most of the bricks but the rest is up to the man himself: Mr. Asad Ahmed Khan.

Dargah scene: I do not know if it has to do with being a Muslim myself (I guess not, since I also have to cry when Hindu's are praying to their Baghwan) but this scene also brought tears into my eyes. Not tears of happiness, not tears of sadness but tears of hope and strength. Be it a dargah/masjid, temple, church or any other holy/religious place, it always makes me emotional because that is the power of God/Allah: to make you realize your mistakes/sins, to repent, to ask for forgiveness and eventually to make you stronger and show you the right path.

Thanks me2you. Yes, one of the things that I like about QH is their positive portrayal of the Muslim culture and faith (unlike most media)...the first Dargah scene is still one of my fav scenes to date. I hope they continue the scene tomorrow when they can be face to face once again. Can't wait to see their reactions..especially Asad's. Uski dua qubool ho gayi😊

Hi Sangi,

Beautiful post !

The Dargah scene was beautiful...KSG was great...just a glimpse of Surbhi was nice..the dialogue...the song was so soothing and serene...I loved it. I am spiritual and not a religious person...infact I am an atheist but I do respect the importance of religion in a society...in an individuals life...I don't believe or practice any rituals but I attend them when invited by my friends to respect that.

My point is Gul khan cannot or shouldn't play with people's emotions concerning religion and the belief one has over their respective gods... Ajmer ...the dargah ...the saints testimony about finding ones's destiny...the portrayal and the emphasis of divine power. She just cannot make evil win after repeatedly assuring people that yes divine power is the ultimate answer. India is the land of various culture and religion but the common factor is that people believe in the almighty...there is immense trust in the almighty ...the trp audiences particularly so if Gul doesn't show a reunion and pursues with the rapist/ prostitute nonsense it will backfire... so, I am a feeling that the whole sequence was altered at the last moment...I am not sure how it will play on but it looks like Asad and Zoya will reconcile and comeback together...I have pondered about this Sangi...I don't think they will bring on another separation right now...ppl are frustrated.

I also think that zoyaan track is not possible right now...This is Ayaan's redemption track ...he might even fall in love with humzie...

But saying that I don't trust Gul after her SR stunt ...she is unpredictable.

Priyanka

I am with you on the spiritual aspect too. Even I am more spiritual than religious. I agree, Gul will have to show this as a positive track...and I would love it if she has altered the script as you have suggested but given the SR history- I am prepared for anything. Even if she shows a possible Asad-Tanveer engagement because of pregnancy, Zoya will not let that happen. I feel this Ajmer track is more for Zoya than Asad. She will be recharged to fight her battle after this track

Thanks Music. Yes, KSG excels in emotional and romantic scenes- that's his forte and he displayed his emotions very well...not OTT, but very realistic.

I agree. Thankfully, the PH and CV's have chosen to show the positive portrayal of the Islam. This show stands out especially when there is huge competition from other Indian tv shows, most of them with a Hindu background. Nothing wrong though, but QH had some expectations to live upon and till now they have done a very good job.
Please, uski dua qubool ho kyunki the poor man has suffered a lot. Yes, Zoya as well. But, for me this is the first time I am watching the lead actor go through this unbearable pain for so long.

As I have mentioned above, Ajmer track will re charge Zoya and it will help her fight for their love...that's the positivity from the track. Asad saved her by breaking the wall yesterday. Now in Ajmer after he confesses and she finds out the truth, she will be 'alive' again

Sangi...the first dargah scene is my all time favorite...and today's dargah scene will second to it...
even i have never cried watching any soaps yeah i get sad... but for the 2 weeks this man (ksg) slowly sending me to a depression state...his acting makes me feel that i have lost my love forever...👏 sorry how could i forget Surbhi , she is marvellous...

as far as the Tanu arrival in ajmer...the reason must be razia, as she wanted to shift badibi to some safest place...and accidently she meets asad says that she came to dargah to get some peace blah blah blah, so he helps her to get to the dargah...( ref: there was taxi and asad was having a green shawl and helping her with the luggage) and then when she spots zoya there , she confronts and zoya challenges...i think they all meet accidently...

There is always something so serene and beautiful about all the religious scenes on this show. I have to say one of the main reasons I regularly watch this show is because of the respect God and faith is given. I feel like all the shows on TV make a mockery of it, whether its has to do with the character being religious or even an atheist. But with QH, I love how much respect it is portrayed with. Today's episode was beautiful and heartbreaking! KSG did a very good job. I felt something was lacking for the past few episode, I am probably in the minority, but today that spark was present. I am excited for all of this to unfold now. Great write up. 😊
