Given all the world events it would be nice to see a positive outlook without overdoing it. Having said that I am not sure the PH had any specific intention other than to make money 😛
it does not hurt to use elements of the faith as an influencing factor in their lives and decisions.
It is not used to preach, but to show that just like other faiths, Muslims too have elements of their faith that promote positive values. Even among liberal Muslims, religion does guide decisions. Bear in mind, as offensive as you find it, if other shows are comfortable showing this, why can't QH? I will be highly stunned if they show a single character fasting. Thus far it has ignored the birthday of Mohd. - Rabi-Al-Awwal. They did not even mention it. And while SOME Muslims do not acknowledge it, there are a number within India who do.
Again in all other shows they show the big festivals, and being a HIndu, I assure you if they show everything we will have nothing but pujas everyday in the serials. So yes the 80-20 rule must be followed, the big celebrations in a liberal but positive way. As with any religious ceremony, the really conservative traditions when shown on TV look like they are mocking them, more than displaying the culture
