What u wear on the outside doesnt necessarily reflect what you are inside.
Asad was behaving like she was naked in front of everyone.I hate those Tehzeeb and Tammez lectures that i think are over played too many times.
I have seen many Muslims wear short dresses, skirts etc etc and nothing is wrong with that.
From actors to singers who are muslims do wear such clothes.Character shouldnt be judged by material things that holds no value to our true personality.
Asad doesnt own Zoya and she shouldnt allow him to dictate what she wears or what she does. Its her life and her rules.Controlling and being over controlling can lead to an abusive relationship in real and reel life.As the saying goes''judge not less you be judged'' and who are we in the eyes of God to be judging a person by something as normal as dressing.
I always love reading ur posts Vicky.
This forum was giving me a headache yesterday.
Glad we can say its rated PG 13 for now.

Thank you.And i LOVE your thoughts. What does education teach us? To open our minds to others and other cultures. Religion teaches us a way of life, gives us a culture to follow and a path to God. Its not meant to dictate our breathing. I myself know so many devout Muslims, who read Namaaz 5 times a day , but behave and dress as they like , without being dogmatic about religion.

Asad is a fundamentalist and will accept Zoe's way of life only with time - even though he has embraced her as a woman. Personally, if a man was to tell me what to wear and what not, he would regret every single word he said.😆

one must not be judged based on what one wears
and as far as i know tezeeb and tameez come from ones heart and are in their nature not in their clothes
Your clothes never tell how cultured you are
and
Zoe proved it that what one wears never matters. And if clothes did tell about one then BCA is the biggest example to prove it wrong.
according the description about tezeeb given by various ppl i think she fulfills all the criteria and we all know what she really is.
SO your clothes dont matter yes i agree what zoe wore was too short but that doesn't mean that she doesnt have tezeeb aur tameez
And another thing i dont understand is why are ppl hyper reacting to something which hasn't aired yet and jumping to conclusions without knowing the complete story
Mera pura mood karab kadiya yaar! i was so excited

Thank you. Aurat 5 inch ke ghoonghat mein ho lekin duniyaa bhar ke ghateeya kaam kare, wo chalega. But chhote kapde pehenti ho aur supergood ho, wo nahiin chalega. Welcome to the patriarchal society where religion is an excuse to hide women in yards of clothes. If a woman wears a pallu/ghoonghat/hijaab, it should be her choice. If she wears shorts and vests, its her choice. Don't judge her in either case.

This forum is like Asad and it believes it owns Zoe.😆

I wanna say that ofcourse a women is allowed to wear what she wants and definitely tehzeeb is in a persons heart ...
but this is a show based on a muslim family and even though zoya wore jeans .. we all loved and respected her bcoz she wore the jeans but kept her body covered ...and she showed us and everyone that a girl wearing jeans is not a big deal and that is one of the qualities which made me love zoya ...
and I am not saying that wearing a skirt is wrong .. she is absolutely allowed to wear it but perhaps after marriage it would have been better ..
but the epi hasn't aired as yet .. so I am not going to judge her character .. I am actually looking forward to it bcoz we don't get to see a lot of heroines taking a risk like this..
so I know its going to be exciting !!

hey vicky same pinch for being hindu rajput but now married into baniya family..anyways i don't even bother about cast, culture, religion and race..i do respect all those though..but i follow what makes sense to me but i don't pass judgement on other who follow what i don't wish to may be for them that make sense anyways...i have learnt one thing in life that what seems right or wrong to me may not be same for others as everyone is not my replica...we all have this problem we tend to assume that what is right or wrong for us ,is universal right or wrong thing...we all have to come to the point where we can leave it to the person what actually he wants rather than what he should want..(obviously crimes are not included in this but even that point is debatable)anyways people always judge you this is called society and we all are part of it...they will pressurise you in every possible manner except humanity...they will give you lecture about your khandaan, society, religion, caste and blah blah blah but when humanity come everyone just backs off...if you raise your voice and you know your rights you are a modern girl with no tehjeeb and lihaaj you dont respect your elders ,,and if u keep saying yes yes to everything and keep following blindly you are best daughter/son,DIL and your praises songs will be sung in all neighbourhood with so much of pride...right and wrong can only be decided according to humanity criteria...and we all are far behind to reach that stage where we can be human withinourself as well as with others..so we keep taking support of all these manmade caste, religion ,race thing to decide what people should do or what not to just prove the point how expert we are at it...i can even write a full book on this but again its not going to change anything ,,,,what i can change is just in future i can just teach my kids to be a human first that i am sure i will...if others want they can do the same and we will have perfect world...😃
and one more point...we can change our eating habits,we can change our furniture and interiors etc...with time passes but we will not change our thinking over time that thinking which you are not even aware of when, how ,why you started to follow or believe..teach your kids how to take decision tell them how to have their own thinking, but let them take decision ,let them understnd what is right and wrong ,let them make choices.
if you are just bringing up them in an atmosphere where only your family, caste, culture, religion values are being incorporated in them ,you are just giving them only a fraction of this beautiful world...you are giving less choices to them...its like your kid belives that potato is the best vegetable around the word and everyone should eat it all the time because u never fed him anything else than potato..may be he will change his mind if he gets a chance to eat other stuff..let them be exposed to whole world through your guidance and let them be what they want to be,how they want to live ...let them have their own experiences, own learning, own thinking...😃

Vicky you've said it before as well that this forum is like Asad and today's discussion certainly proves that's the case. We don't even know why she wore that skirt, what was the situation like but conclusions have been reached.
