Irrespective of the fact whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Jew and all other religions by respect, your clothes and your lifestyle will never reflect what you are inside as a person. I don't know and I don't care what part of the world you live in , among what people and environment you grew up or what your education did to help you - but if you think you have any right to open the shutter of your mouth and tell anyone that what is right to wear and what is the right lifestyle, for me you are as bad as a frog in a well.
Every religion, every faith and every community has two clear bifurcations - the traditional/fundamental and the liberal/modern. One should not trespass the other and pass judgments. Live in your circle and don't try to dictate and decide what your religion allows and disallows. Your right to hit stops where the other person's nose begins.
I am a Hindu and I too have a section where certain clothes and lifestyle is not allowed. But my folks have kept our generation apart from it - we are free to wear what we like , live as we like and practice tradition by our definition. The section does not approve of our lifestyle but it understands that we interpret culture in our own way.
So, whether you are in a salwaar , a veil or a Hijaab - it doesn't make someone in a mini skirt , a spaghetti vest and shorts any less human , any less Hindu/Muslim than you.
You are not the dogma . Don't be one. You are going to ruin your kids , otherwise and propagate a generation that has no mind of its own.
