Irrespective of the fact whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Jew and all other religions by respect, your clothes and your lifestyle will never reflect what you are inside as a person. I don't know and I don't care what part of the world you live in , among what people and environment you grew up or what your education did to help you - but if you think you have any right to open the shutter of your mouth and tell anyone that what is right to wear and what is the right lifestyle, for me you are as bad as a frog in a well.

Every religion, every faith and every community has two clear bifurcations - the traditional/fundamental and the liberal/modern. One should not trespass the other and pass judgments. Live in your circle and don't try to dictate and decide what your religion allows and disallows. Your right to hit stops where the other person's nose begins.

I am a Hindu and I too have a section where certain clothes and lifestyle is not allowed. But my folks have kept our generation apart from it - we are free to wear what we like , live as we like and practice tradition by our definition. The section does not approve of our lifestyle but it understands that we interpret culture in our own way.

So, whether you are in a salwaar , a veil or a Hijaab - it doesn't make someone in a mini skirt , a spaghetti vest and shorts any less human , any less Hindu/Muslim than you.

You are not the dogma . Don't be one. You are going to ruin your kids , otherwise and propagate a generation that has no mind of its own.

Exactly. A religious conscience does not give you a free pass to discriminate against others who have a different set of beliefs to yours. I don't understand why our choice of clothes is being used to judge what we are like on the inside. Clothes and lifestyle are completely separate to our inner being right?

Live and let live. Peace. 😃

I don't even know why anyone should have a problem with that skirt.
I think everyone is jealous of how cute Surbhi looks. 🤣

Even if someone paid me million dollars, I won't be able to wear such things. 😭

Thanks for making this post vicky ma'am...was really needed...i myself am a marwari...and our caste is super conservative...in terms of dressing and even girls are not encouraged to get higher education...but my folks are different...i wear what i like...i m pursuing a doctoral degree and somewhere it draws a lot of flak from others who think otherwise...i obviously wear clothes as per the occasion but i wear all kinds of clothes...but that does not make me less hindu or marwari or whatever...my caste or religion most definitely do not dictate what i wear... i think the only thing that my religion would ever get to dictate is the way i get married...😆...

Thanks Sonia. I completely agree with you. This is the whole problem , i guess. How difficult it is to understand that there is a world outside your world where people can have a different upbringing , background and lifestyle. I understand that a few things can be a cultural shock to you - but that does not make them wrong - they are absolutely fine in their place as long as they don't trespass your space.😃

This is what her character actually demanded. Zoya keeps on making a point that Tehzeeb aur Tahmeez dil mein hoti hai, Kapado mein nahi. Asad himself wears suit but cannot come to this idea.
People are hard at hearing. it did state Najma had some plans and all of a sudden Maulanvi Sahab came. Misjudge karna toh logo ki pitrat hai. Also Zoya had a something in her hands. It was totally uncalled for, for the family. Also wait for the episode, then murder it.
Even before the episode takes place people start to hurl stuffs at it. Sad pretty sad.
. Misjudge karna toh logo ki pitrat hai, dusri ladkiya Mini skirts pehene no probs with that, but then khud ki Girl Friend pehene World War 3 waah!

p.s. : Mera mood kharab ho chuka hai! Mujhe Armani Almari wishes chahiyeh part 3 😭 😭

Thanks. Surbhi looks cute for sure even though that skirt is a rumaal.😆...

Ppl need to mind their own business and thighs. What anyone is wearing or how anyone is practicing their religion is none of anyone's business.

You will not wear that skirt because you are not comfortable - not because you are scandalized by it.😃

Marwari? Kya mast khaana bantaa hogaa tumhaare yahaan.😳... i am a Hindu Rajput and there is still that long ghoonghat system in my extended family. You are lucky that you are getting to pursue your dreams and your parents are so awesome! You will have to marry a Maarwari only?

Islamically you should wear modest clothes. But I will never judge a person on their clothes. You can wear a bra and the shortest of skirts and I will still talk to you you can wear a burka and i still womt think omg this person is so nice i still need to get to know you because clothes don't make you a nice person. I don't believe in judging people because you aren't supposed to do that god judges and who the hell am I to play god.
