Chapter 4
Precap: Dilshad and Rashid talk on the phone about Zoya. After they hang up Dilshad goes to talk to Najma regarding Zoya and Asad. Najma is happy to find out that Asad is in love with Zoya. Now the plan is to find out whether or not if Zoya feels the same way for Asad or not. Dilshad leaves to go check on Zoya and to talk to Asad about the fire. She finds Asad crying and worried about his Zoya. She reassures him that everything will be fine and with that Asad also tells Dilshad that someone was behind the fire in Zoya's room and he vows to find that person and to get his revenge.
It was nearly midnight and Asad had finally convinced his mother to go sleep and that he would watch Zoya. Asad was standing by his window and staring out at the sky. He would remember how sometimes he and Zoya would sit out in the backyard on the bench and look up at the stars quietly. He thought back to all the happenings of the day of what Zoya did for him and in the end he only ended hurting HIS Zoya even more. Asad did not even realize that he was referring to Miss Farooqui as HIS Zoya. He was so caught up in his thoughts at first he didn't realize but then something broke through his train of thoughts and when he turned around to look to see what it was it was Zoya. He saw her stirring and mumbling something. Asad slowly walked over to the bed and sat down next to her. He took her hand into his hand and slowly started rubbing her hand with his it seemed to calm her down and she stopped. Few minutes passed and Asad realized he was dozing off and feeling sleepy so he went to go make himself a cup of his favorite strong black, bitter, coffee. Asad quietly walked towards the kitchen without turning any of the lights. As he was walking by he heard some shuffling and noise coming from Zoya's room. He found it weird so he quietly went towards Zoya's room to see who was in there. He looked into the room to see that there was a slender figure in there rummaging through Zoya's things. He wanted to go in but then thought against it as it could be the person that had lit Zoya's room on fire. Whoever was inside suddenly there phone started ringing. The person answered it and Asad realized that the voice sounded somewhat familiar to him but he couldn't remember as to who it was. So he just decided to quietly listen to the person talking.
(Switching to phone conversation; the person in Zoya's room is Tanveer she is trying to get rid of the evidence of kerosene and make it look as if there was a wire short circuit in her room and she is talking to Raziya)
Tanveer: "Hello, Ji the work is being done right now. It will look like and accident when Asad has it checked out."
Raziya: "Are you sure that no one already suspects that the fire was put on purpose?"
Tanveer: "Yes I am sure no one suspects anything because they were too caught up in taking care of bechari Zoya"
Raziya: "Okay fine get the job done and then start planning to get rid of her as soon as you have the opportunity. Understand Billo Rani."
Tanveer: "Ya Allah you please do not worry the job will be done no I have to go. Khuda Hafiz."
Tanveer hangs up the call with Raziya.
Tanveer: "Well this time you survived Zoya but I will make sure the next time you will be in the heavens with your mother." (Laughing in an evil way).
Asad was shocked. He stood rooted to his spot. He had just heard the conversation between two people that had wanted Zoya dead and were not willing to give up till she was dead. While asad was lost in his thoughts he did not realize that all of a sudden he heard screams coming from his room. The screams brought him back from his thoughts and he had registered that zoya was in trouble. Asad quickly ran and barged into his room. In the process he woke the whole house up. He walked in to see that Zoya was tossing and turning and screaming.
Zoya: "BACHAO AMMI! AAJ! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME AMMI! AMMI AAJ!"
Asad grabbed Zoya and yelled at her to wake up.
Asad: "Zoya wake up! Zoya! Open your eyes goddamit!"
Zoya let out a gasp and her eyes opened slowly. She had tears running down her pale white cheeks and she was trembling. Zoya held her head as she was feeling a little dizzy and her head was hurting also. She looked up to see Asad was awkwardly holding her and she quickly remembered what all that had happened to her. She remembered all the mean things Asad said to her and she started crying more now. Just then Dilshad, Najma, and Tanveer walked into the room, Asad moved aside but did not let go of Zoya. Dilshad and Najma sat on the bed and tried to comfort her.
Dilshad: "Beta its okay nothing to worry about you are safe here with us. Najma beta please get some water for Zoya"
Najma: "Ji ammi, here you go Zoya"
Zoya: "T..thank.. you..tt.. tamatar"
Zoya's voice was very broken and raspy and that's when Asad squeezed her hand. Zoya realized this and saw that Asad was holding her hands and she quickly jerked her hands out of his. Asad felt a pang in his chest as if his heart was shattered. He looked down to see that Zoya was avoiding him. She looked up to her Phupi and the words that came out of her mouth next literally broke his heart.
Zoya: "Ph...Phupi can yy...you.. please..take me to...yy…your room so I can...rest...there with you..?"
Dilshad: "Yes beta you can and besides I know you will feel much better once you have a good night's sleep, Asad beta can you please help me take Zoya to my room?"
Zoya: "No...Phupi its okay...i can walk by...myself.."
Zoya quickly got out of asad's bed without making eye contact with him she slowly started to make her way out of the room but was still walking very wobbly. She called Najma and asked her to just hold her hand so she could walk a little better. All the time Asad stood there staring at Zoya thinking what had gone wrong and why she was so mad at him. Then it hit him he remembered all the things that he said to Zoya just before she had fainted. He sighed and looked at his ammi with a sad expression on his face.
Dilshad: "Don't worry Asad she will be fine she will forgive you also, just make sure you apologize to her. You know Zoya has a kind heart she doesn't stay mad at someone for to long that's just her nature. She will forgive you beta just don't worry."
Asad: Ji Ammi, now please go to bed Najma and Zoya are already gone."
Dilshad: "Okay beta, goodnight"
Asad: "Goodnight ammi"
Dilshad left the room and Asad went and stood next to the window and just thought back to what had transpired in his room he got frustrated and banged his fist into the wall. He sat back on his sofa and saw the small pool of blood collected by his feet. He got up and went to his bathroom cleaned up his hand then he went back to clean the mess up by his sofa. After that he went to bed and just laid there tossing and turning after a while he fell asleep and didn't wake up till morning. In the morning when he woke up he decided that he would somehow find a way to get Zoya to forgive him no matter what.
Hey guys so this is chapter 4. I know its pretty short but I was sick lately and just couldnt concentrate that well. It was a rushed chapter not much happening but I promise to make chapter 5 much better. Give me feedback on the chapter of how it was. If i should continue also with chapter 5. Remeber feedback helps me to write better so please do comment!! If feedback is good ill try to have chapter 5 up by the end of the day..
