A very very good post! Rishab really needs to grow as an actor. Somehow it feels like he is stuck. I also feel the character Ayaan needs to grow too. Neither the character nor the actor is doing much for me st this point.

From day one i have been saying this Rishabh cannot act, 🤢🤢 all of his scene feel forced as if someone is holdind a stick to his head.
He has the stage present because of his sweet boy next door look, but as soon as he open his mouth you cringe.
As for Nisha i will give her the benefit of a few more episode. But so far she is falling flat, she needs some acting lesson if she is to share a screne space with karan because he will over shadow her. Archana is what you call a demure muslim girl, she plays this role perfect. This is who nisha need to be like.
These two needs to step up their game bid time.

I agree with you Vicky they both need improvement...
I have really like Ayaan in few scenes, but if he is given scene for too long then you can see him fading slowly. He cannot hold attention for long and I feel thats an issue. I really hope he improves as his is pivotal character.
As for Nisha, she has really no screen presence at all. She seems to cram her dialog and spits them out without emotions. Yes you can judge actor from two episodes, specially when its not their first time facing the camera..
And when you have such powerful actors in the same screen, the flaws are exposed faster.
I think thats why they are not able to really decide on story around Ayaan. They had one plot but not sure he can deliver specailly when we are used to top notch performances.
I have a feeling Nisha might even pack up sooner than she was signed for, if she keep acting like she has so far. I would call her character a catalyst at this time, not pivotal. Her character did create an effect needed on Zoya(jealousy), not sure if we will see greyness in it.

I find Rishab as Ayaan 100%

The casting department has done a marvelous job in giving him to us.

Look at his character
-He has had an easy life
-He is a happy go lucky chap
-An out and out flirt with an OTT personality

I think he does full justice to his role.
This will be his coming of age story and we will see a gradual change in his personality too.
A set back, emotional turmoil such things usually curb certain elements in anyone's personality. So the CV will go for a contrast makeover for Ayaan in future of that I am sure.

The only point that irks me about Rishab is his HAIR. When did he last have a hair-cut??? I know his character demands he have certain style. But come on !
Reminds me of the 90s when sporting long hair was the in-thing or is it still IN? God knows not much into fashion these days.

Comparing Rishab to KSG is just unfair.
And to expect him to improve overnight is unfairness squared.

Ok this is just my view no offense to anyone.

Agree with your post, Victoria.
Ayaan's dialogue delivery falls flat, i might speak better than him if i try (i do not speak hindi at all).
Nisha, when ever she started delivering a dialogue, it feel like a announcer has started speaking in the flight/airport/railway station.
BTW, do you study or work in movie making? you seem to lot of knowledge about many aspects in this area. Your write ups are great and i enjoy reading them.

Totally agree about both actors. I am a big sucker for dialogue delivery and both fail miserably in that. Surbhi's dialogue delivery is excellent among all the cast of QH. No wonder she won debate so many times and was on to stage performance. For some reason, Nisha is like a barbie doll (no offense to barbie lovers - my kids love barbies too). I understand she hasn't had too much to show off her talent yet, but for some reason I feel she won't be able to match others on the show. I have no hopes for Rishabh - sorry just a pretty face and body that's all. I wish I had so much hair as him.

I cant remember when exactly, but there was a scene in theinitial days which made me think- wow this guy is really a bad actor. There are seversl times when he uses the same voice modulagion and I dont like it. HOWEVER, I think Rishabh goes back and forth between good and bad performances. Its 50-50 for me. I think he did very well in his scene KSG this Friday.

When Ayaan has a makeover in character and appearance, I think Rishab will or can drastically change viewers' opinion about his looks and acting. Give him Asad's wardrobe and ahaircut and I think this guy will make heads turn. Hopefully by then he will be consistent in his acting too.
