A problem with Rishabh & Nisha.

nice post..agree...i only watch asad and zoya scenes and some important scenes of the story..but watever i have seen...i totally agree with you...sometimes he is good..sometimes okay...he needs to pick up the pace especially where there are strong actors present with him in front of the camera. he body language and voice modulation and expression has become like a pattern now..very predictable..like you know how his face is going to look the very next moment...needs to bring little bit more versatility in his scenes...otherwise he is the same ayaan to me that i saw in episode 1..ayaan has lot of potential as far as character growth is concerned...so rishabh better pull up his socks right now...because when its time for ayaan to be pivotal in asya love story, he is going to be easily overshadowed, if he continues to be like this. that will take away a lot of intensity from the story that is yet to come (if we go buy original zee plot).

I planned on skipping nisha's scenes..but unfortunately, i had to watch her to understand zoya's scenes...she is okay...pretty and all that but she comes across as very pale actress...you're absoulately right..it looks like tehzeeb is being forced on her...it looked fake and plastic...i cant really judge the actress based on 10 mins of footage...bt on the other hand, i feel its meant to be like that...i think tanveer has entered in asad's life with purpose. she is there to make asad realize that you can not judge the book by its cover. she is going to turn out to be a big liar..then whatever this actress is portraying is bang on...because then all these tehzeeb is actually fake. so who knows...

even if the actress is bad...this forced act of tehzeeb is working in favor of the character. may be tanveer is not really all about tehzeeb from inside..she is just doing her part to serve the greater purpose for which she has come.

p.s. i am a silent member of this forum...but i love your posts and analysis of episodes...i read them everyday...but since i am in office, i dont log in my account and hence dont reply...but today happens to be saturday..so i thot i should appreciate your writing. i must say you're a great writer...btw, just out of curiosity, did you ever have username pocohantos? i had interacted with her in PKYEK forum..your writing and style of interacting with others resembles her a lot. may be i am wrong. Regardless, thanks for being part of this forum. you give very good insight about the episodes..sometimes there is some really good pieces of writing that i can apply in my life too. :)

I guess Rishabh z thoda extra wala lazy.
He knows how to act best, he has convinced me dat. Look at him convincing Shireen dat his bhai z world to him, look at his helpless look watching happy Nikhat when he returned home beaten, look at his scenes wid dadi convincing her to speak up...
He very rarely takes bit of efforts..
Bt yet manages to hold ur thoughts.
May be by April end or mid May, he will start living upto expectations..

Thanks. :-)...I think Rishabh is adorable as the funny , flirting Ayaan but when he has to emote, his flat dialogue delivery ruins it all.

Thanks. :-)... Pink clothes? You are funny.😆...I have been very hopeful towards Rishabh as well but the kid is not doing anything to make me clap at his improvement. His emotive skills and dialogue delivery need immediate attention.

Nisha's portrayal of Tanveer appears stiff but am hoping that she will get into the groove with Lalit's help.😆...Razia is also dukaan of Tehzeeb when she is not being evil. I mean, tehzeeb aur taur-tareeke waali ladkiyon ki bhi ek adaa aur kheench hoti hai. She looked so awkward next to Karan in their individual scene. 😕

Can't agree more. Rishabh's graph has been flat. HIs appearance, styling, dialogues and co-actors have done a bit to his performance, but he doesn't bring anything himself. If he was to run the show on his shoulder, the show would have been ended by now. He really needs to learn and practice.

Nisha, I don't think she deserves a parallel lead role. SHe doesn't have any screen presence and cannot act convincing.

Acting is something that cannot be learned. It's in you or not. Acting skills can definitely be polished by practicing and rehearsing but IMO 80% should come naturally then only an actor can convince the audience.

Yea . you have said it very well.. Archana really knows how to show the Tehzeeb of a devout , tehzeebi muslim girl.. because she is a good actress, and may be Nisha is not able to act that well. But she might improve with time as she is a new comer.
I wish they would give more scenes to Archana.. she is really pretty as well.
Even the girl who plays Humaira initially had a problem with dialogue delivery but she has improved a lot now and i like to watch her scenes these days.

As for Rishabh, in some scenes he quite fits into the role because his character is that of a spoilt ( by Asad, his father and mother and even sisters), fun loving carefree guy and cherished , small brother of Asad... so in some scenes with Asad and Rashid, he fits into the role and his deficit is compensated by Asad and and Rashid's characters which is that of his protector as well and he is like this small cute kid... And some of his comic scenes are also good.. But these days he is given more screen space and has a lot to do on his own and Ayaan will have a lot of scenes of his own even in future and there has to be growth of his character as well.. So unless Rishabh can deliver what is required for all this in a much more convincing way, we might get fed up with his character.. and he definitely needs improvement on dialogue delivery , especially in emotional and serious scenes...😃

Well agreed. Whole heartily. But you see Rishab is new to acting. so is Nisha. hence you cant get a perfection like KaBhi. Sometimes its all about your co-stars too [Read : KSG & Surbhi] 🤣
