ASAD SLAP vs ZOYA SLAP

Okay, so here's a recap of what happened:

ZOYA SLAP
Asad's Mom got shot at, following Mariam returning and while she lay in the hospital in a critical condition, all Asad could think of was the threat that Mariyam's father had given. He could only connect the dots together and conclude Zoya didn't arrange for Mariyam to leave and Dilshad had to bear the consequence of it all, with an uncertain future now. He didn't know how he could possibly cope with such a huge loss if things didn't work out in his mother's favour. He felt a whirlwind of emotions, hatred, anger, sadness, anxiety... And the feeling that conquered them all was anger when Zoya came to him to apologize, and his instant reflex was a hard-hitting slap on her face! 😭

ASAD SLAP
Dilshad was in a state of shock and despair knowing that Rashid was being framed and now due to a series of events and conspiracies, her son Agam was mistaking his father to be a monster, wanting to kill him. She was putting her head around the fact that the relationship between the two guys she loved the most was taking a disastrous turn for the worst ever! Amidst all this, she found out that Rashid was being taken away by the police and going to Asad for help only revealed that her very own son was the reason for Rashid being taken behind bars. Then from an angry, upset Dilshad came a hard-hitting slap on Asad's face! 😭

Question:
Why would the ZOYA-SLAP be justified and the ASAD-SLAP not?
I'm all for women's rights and equality and what not, but putting things into perspective, if your mother was fighting for her life and you knew who directly or indirectly caused it, wouldn't you be angry? (okay he was wrong in assuming this, but no one in the family thought someone else could be after Dilshad's life, I mean if roles were reversed and Zoya was in Asad's place, then even she would be sure it was Mangalpur goons who tried to kill Mariyam and instead shot at Dilshad!) It wasn't shown to be 'violence against women' per se, more like an instant reflux for someone trying to harm his mother!
Same goes for Dilshad slapping Asad, as sorry as I felt for poor Asad who's had such a troubled childhood, I knew it was justified as he tried to put his father behind bars against his mother's wishes, who tried to tell him that he might be getting framed. 🤔

Have a healthy discussion guys, no need to get temperamental or judgemental! Everyone can voice their opinion in a nice peaceful manner! 🤓

Better we don't

Coz we know that asad's slapping Zoe was nt justified

But dilshad slapping is justified as he is her son

ok, agree with enrique and dmg, but asad slapping zoya would not be man hitting a woman! they live in the same house, distant relatives or whatever. and the reason was serious enough, would you expect a human to not lash out his anger if you were the reason on getting his loved one almost killed! i mean asad only has two people he cares about, his mother and his sister. so i wouldn't say the slap was physical violence, probably not completely justified, but putting things into perspective, i believe it partially was!

if we were really to be stern and implicate the ZOYA-SLAP as "NOT JUSTIFIED" then i'm afraid by international standards, even a mother slapping a son is not justified, as it would be classified as child abuse!

I think, above all, a mother has right to slap his son. So, it's justified. 😊

Had we made a similar post that did not justify the slap or promote it, we would be slapped left right and center and banned from this forum. Our thread would have been shut down and we would have been mocked and harassed. As for as I am aware, we are not allowed to discuss the slap issue and no new posts can be opened on this topic. All our posts have been closed and we struggle to keep even the few open on this forum while people who want to justify slapping have free reign. I am a bit bewildered at the forum moderators and the members double standards here.

We were told to get over the slap and move on, but I don't see anyone saying this to those who are want to justify it. Why the double standard and hypocrisy? One thing I was told is the moderator of this forum does not believe slapping is physical abuse hence the reason any posts speaking out against slapping are not welcome and if post is not shut down, then I will know that this is definitely true.

I agree... A slap is a slap. And if we say no slap topics on this forum, we should have NO SLAP TOPICS 😊
