We were told to get over the slap and move on, but I don't see anyone saying this to those who are want to justify it. Why the double standard and hypocrisy? One thing I was told is the moderator of this forum does not believe slapping is physical abuse hence the reason any posts speaking out against slapping are not welcome and if post is not shut down, then I will know that this is definitely true.

im not comparing the two to justify them, of course any kind of violence is not good, but all i was saying was things needed to be put into perspective!

everyone has a right to their opinion and voice it in a constructive way. no need to get personal here.

its a soap at the end of the day. though the topics might be relevant to today's culture and might emotionally affect people, but there's no propaganda here, no taking sides, no justifying what is shown on tv.

purely discussing things in a healthy way!

The aggression in your post clearly shows a lot of intolerance towards a different viewpoint - anger and violence towards women as unacceptable. Instead of respecting that we offer a different stance, which as mentioned is in the minority, you feel the need to shut people off and consider what we do as offensive. Telling people to get lost from a forum because of a difference of opinion is very disappointing to read. While I am not personally hurt, it does reflect a lot as to the view of the lack and unwillingness of those to accept different ideas that do not match with theirs.
