nikhat ,najma , nuzhat come fast breakfast is ready dilshaad called for her daughters .. 2day is a long day we all need our energy come fast

ammi pls dont stress we will handle everything .. we are your sons asad said to dilshaad .. dilshaad looked to her husband and smiled .. this was their asad never letting anyone worry.. taking all the responsibilty on himself .. asad loved his mother alot whatever she said ..it was his law ..

the 3 sister had joined the table and najma and nuzhat were teasing nikhat about imraan her future husband... pls stop nikhat squirmed in her seat and her cheeks were red ... the whole family laughed looking at her like this ..

im sooo hungry .. i hope theirs food for me as well !! dilshaad aunty your food is the best humeira shouted from the stairs ..

of course humeira their is always place for u .. humeira was staying with the khans for a year now as her parents had to relocate to dubai but she couldnt go as she wanted to finish her studies in bhopal... but only humeira knew their was another reason she stayed ...and right now she was staring into his chocolate brown eyes ..

sur sure of course she stuttered as she passed the toast to him. and their hand briefly touched for 2 seconds and they looked into each anothers eyes.. humeira looked away shyly as the whole family smiled knowingly

ammi why dont we have 2 engagements at once .. we all know after nikhat asad and humeira u know .. ayaan winked at his mother

stop talking nonsense ayaan , asad scolded his brother.. asad was very conservative he didnt like talking about love and girls .. he had decided whoever his mother wanted him to marry he would marry ,, but secretly he knew humeira was the one for him .. she was just his type ..quiet , dressed well never talked back to her elder .. she was the perfect good girl.. the perfect girl for him ... but little did he know life wasnt perfect and life had some imperfect girl in store for him

and dilshaad thought that as well .. she decided she would speak to humeiras parents and her husband later today after nikhats engagement ..

the engagement was over the whole family with humeira were laughing and discussing how well everything went ..

dilshaad sat next to her husband and quitely said .. dont they look perfect ..glancing at asad and humeira .. i think its time we take matters foward .. i want to speak to humeiras parents

rashid said yes its time .. i cant believe allah has given me soo much im so lucky . evrything is perfect ..

but perfect it was not .. in the middle of the night rashid got a call that would change all their lives forever for that was the phone call that brought zoya into their lives!!!!

rashid and dilshaad sat in shock ... are you sure dilshaad asked .

yes rashid replied .. the doctors did everything to save him but his condition was far worse than they ever imagined .. his dead... and the girl.. what are we gonna do dilshaad..

we are gonna do whats right rashid .. she was always our responsibilty .. its time to fulfill our promise .. we promised her parents !! we had to send her away when she was young but you always sent money to her out of guilt but i think its time she comes to us..

we should leave now .. it will be a long drive dilshad said as she packed a small bag ..ill leave a message for the kids ... asad is here he will look after dem ..

dilshaad calm down we will deal with all of that later ..dilshaad i will go and bring the girl you need to stay here .. if we both go the kids will know something is wrong ..

part 3 zoya enters the khan house

excuse me im looking for the girl who lived with mr azam .. rashid asked ..

oh zoya ill call her .. zoya beti i think its time for you to go the man shouted into the house behind him.

1 minute im coming she shouted back ..

rashid heard the crashing of something and then a voice said , salaam you must be mr rashid khan .. im zoya farooqui.. nice to meet you ..

rashid was shocked .. he expected to see a girl who had just lost her guardian but here was this girl dressed in jeans and top and smiling brightly at him ..

salaam zoya.. are u ok .. i mean mr khan just passed away . and u dont look sad ?

well i hardly ever saw him he was always out drinking so i dont think im gonna miss him that much .. she said and jumped into the car..

the drive back was 3 hours and rashid could hardly get a word in their conversation.. zoya talked non stop about everything from clothes to shoes to her parents .. she told rashid she knew little about her parents but if he was friends with her parents she was sure her parents were really nice.. and she thanked him for letting her live in their home ... she told rashid he had a big heart . rashid was uncomfortable with all the aprreciation when all he could think about wat about that secret ..

they reached home at 11 in the morn so rashid knew only his wife would be home ..

come in zoya i would like you to meet my wife dilshaad .. zoya saw dilshaad and she was silent.. zoya never had a mother figure in her life so when dilshaad hugged her and said welcome to our home .. a warmth engulfed her and tears came to her eyes ..

thank you she stuttered..can i call you phupi.zoya asked .

zoya smiled and then the next moment she yelled .. wow what a beautiful house you have ... itna acha design and the colour are amazing .. and then crash she had walked straighed in to the small table and her hand knocked down the vase !!

allah miya whats wrong with me im so sorry phupi...

it ok zoya .. come i will show you to your room .. and dilshaad took her to the guest room ,,

this was zoya .. nothing fazed her . she was bubbly,cute a total klutz but she loved life and never let anything bring her down .

part 4 asad meets zoya

abbu why arent you answering your fone asad muttered .his mother foned and told him that his father had arrived back but she hadnt told him anything else but he could sense something was wrong .. but right now he couldnt think about that he needed the file from his house and abbu needed to bring it to the office . the clients would be here in two hours and most of the plans were in that file ..

dammit abbu ..asad decided to go and get the file himself .. the house was quiet when he entered ... he saw a note that said gone to buy vegetables with rashid .. asad frowned why rashid ,,she always wrote abbu .. he didnt think about it to much he went to look for his file .. he looked everywhere .. then he remembered whenever the forgot something his ammi always keeps everything in the guest room ..asad entered the guestroom and walked to the cupboard right next to the bathroom he opened the cupboard and started seaching for the file and the next moment he felt the cupboard shake .. a loud OW and then she was in his arms . her towel fell from her hair which was still wet .. a few droplets hit his face and then silence .. asad was speechless .. he was mesmerized her hazel eyes were locked onto his eyes an for that one moment it was just him and her .. she smelled like lavender . her face looked as smooth as silk and her body fit perfect into his .. this moment was perfect

allah miya whats wrong with you ? she rushed to get her pepper spray?

who are you and what are you doing here get out or i will call the cops ..zoya screamed ..

asad looked at her disgustingly .. the cops , for me in my house . what is wrong with you ..and what the hell are you doing in my house ?

dont you have manners screaming at a girl..

asaad laughed girl who is dressed like you looking at her in jeans and top doesnt deserve to be spoken to with manners.

and they carried on insulting each other until dilshaad came their and saw them in each others faces with just an inch between them and she coughed and with a smile in her face she said .. asad zoya is everything ok?

ok you all know zoya and she will be staying with us from now on .. i dont want any complaints she said looking at asad who kept his eyes down .. please make her feel at home and i dont want anyone troubling her ok ... this is important to your father and i as we are are looking after zoya as a promise to her parents ..and with that dilshaad left to make dinner for everyone

asad walked to his room and closed the door hard behind him .. zoya and humaira both looked towards him ...

dilshaad was preparing dinner . everyone else was in their rooms . asad came to the kitchen to get some water .. asad his mother called to him quitely

humeira was walking to the kitchen when she heard dilshaad aunty say her name so she hid behind the wall . zoya was coming out of her room and saw humaira and joined her .. zoya loved to eaves drop

asad said . ammi i know what you are going to ask if i like humeira or not . ammi you know i dont believe in love but i think humeira would be the best wife for me and i agree .

no asad dilshaad interrupted . but asad didnt hear and continued ammi i will leave all the arrangements to you and he left and walked to his room

dilshaad had a worried look on her face and thought .. ya allah how do i tell asad , its such a big matter .. this concerns the rest of his life .. but what can i do ya allah .. i had made this promise 20 years ago .. i have to fulfill it .. i will ask rashid to speak to him ...

humeira had a huge smile on her face and zoya pulled humeira into her room and exclaimed !! allah miya did i just hear right ?

zoya i am soo happy asad agreed .. i cant believe it .. humeira said gleefully as she twirled around the room .

zoya was speechless .. what is happening here .. 1st day i am in this house and mr khan is engaged.. zoya didnt like the thought of humeira and mr khan but she brushed the thought away and looked at humeiras wide smile and all her ill feelings went away ..

zoya hugged humeira and said im happy for you .. you deserve all he happiness even if its with mr moody ..

thanks zoya humeira hugged her back and they both left to go help dilshaad in the kitchen ..

part 7

the next morning zoya woke up early to go for her run .. she hated any kind of exercise but after all the junk food she eats she had to burn it of some how ..

she changed and was ready to go when she couldnt find her ipod .. she needed her ipod .. it distracted her while she ran .. and she loved listening to music ..

maybe i left it in rashid uncles car car she thought as she searched her bag .. she put on her running shoes and started searching the car ..

asad loved running .. it helped him clear his head and after the night he had . running was the best thing for him .. why couldnt he get her out of his head he thought again .. he reached the house and saw his abbu car .. abbu said the file i wanted was in his car .. let me get it now before i forget . asad thought .. he took of his jacket and emptied his water bottle of his sweaty head and headed to the car . he opened the back door and saw the file and bent down to pick it up ..

found it .. yelled zoya in exclaim .. asad stood up in shock and BANG .. he and zoya had bumped heads .. HARD

OW !!! yelled zoya allah miya whats wrong wit.. and she stopped ..ur 6 packs ..

he was like a greek god ..beuatifully toned in all the right place and that 6 pack .. zoyaa stared at him from up to down and then up again until she was looking into his eyes .. and then he was coming round the car to her side .. he walked straight to her and everytime she walked back he came closer until she lost balance and was about to fall backwards when he caught her . he pulled her up her body touching his .. he fel so right she thought .. and then nothing. he let go of her . pushed her to the side and reached for his file and started walking away when zoya finally found her voice ..

she screamed asad !!! i mean mr khan whats wrong with you ? how can you push me like that ..?

you were in my way and i wanted my file so i pushed you , simple . asad replied

i want an apology zoya said .. she stood in front of him and said . right now

or else? smirked asad .. what are you going to do ..

never asad now angry tried to reach for the file but zoya was to quick and she ran away from him laughing

zoya sat in her room . everyone was out ..she walked around the house and she saw phupi sitting and praying so zoya went and sat next to her .. after phupi was done .. zoya asked quitely

phupi cn you tell me what kind of a person my mother was ?with tears in her eyes.

i cant remember much but i remember she always used to smile and that smile is my only memory of her .. please tell me about parents .

of course zoya . phupi replied

zoya your mother was my best friend .we were friends since our college days .. she was the reason i found rashid as well. she and your dad fell in love and they introduced rashid to me .in the year after college we both got married and had to go our separate ways but fate brought us back together after 4 years .. you were 2 and asad was 3 .. both of you were inseperable .

me and mr moody were friends .. zoyas heart skipped a beat but she brushed it away .. so what if we knew each another .. it means nothing ..

dilshaad carried on.. you mother was a kind , simple girl .. we all lived in the same community just a few houses apart .. she was so proud of you .. you always brought a smile to her face whenever times were hard and she used to always tell me .. my daughter is one speacial girl .. she was made to spread happiness ..

im sorry that shes not here with you today zoya .. i know i made a promise to your mother to always look after you .. but zoya times were hard and rashid had just started working ...

asad turned to look at his mother with question in his eyes and she said dont worry asad .. we are ok ..but asad wasnt convinced but he accepted his mothers answer and went to get his file ..

zoya was bringing the file out of the room and she walked straight into asad and was about to trip wen he caught her and placed his hand on her back to steady her and kept it there as the met each others eyes ...

asad could see there was sadness in zoyas eyes and it made him hurt he didnt like that her eyes were wet with tears ..and without knowing why asad raised his hand to wipe a tear away ..

zoya was stunned at what asad was doing and without any protest she let him wipe her tears .. his hand was smooth against her face and she wanted him to keep it there.. she saw concern for her in his eyes and she liked it

are you ok he asked quitely his hand still on her face

zoya nodded silently and looked down shyly ... and suddenly ther heard a door bang which made them jump apart and then he took his hand away and moved away from her shocked at what had happened ..,

my file please ? he asked coldly ..

and then moody asad was back zoya knew it could never be true and he was a cold perfectionist .. so she just handed him his file and walked away .. asad looked at her as she walked away with a heavy heart .. why was he feeling this way? she was nothing to him and with that thought he left for work

but little did they know dat humeira had seen their little encounter and she wasnt happy ...
