imraan nikhats fiance had dropped by to give her some gifts for the upcoming functions .. the whole family was sitting in the lounge watching them ... nikhat shyly thanked imraan and asked him to join her familys discussion as they were also planning all the arrangements for all the ceromonies and nikaah ..

zoya was listening to them quietly eating popocorn when suddenly she stood up and pulled nikhat and imraan up with her ..while doing this a few popcorn peices flew around the room .. asad looked at her with an irratated look but she ignored him .. but what surprised her was humeiras harsh tone towards her..

zoya whats wrong with you ? stop being so messy !!! humeira all but yelled

im sorry .. zoya said .. ill pick it up ..

its ok . phupi said .. first tell us why are nikhat and imraan standing ?

oh yes phupi . zoya exclaimed .. we forgot the most important detail !!! what song are these two lovebirds going to dance to at the music ceremony ?

ayaan walked upto zoya and winked at her playfully .. how about we show them how its done ? he grabbed zoyas hand ..

zoya quickly removed her hand from ayaans and told him .. sorry ,im waiting for my mr perfect to have my first dance .. and she ducked playfully under his arm and went to hide behind phupi who was laughing ...

ok then ayaan acted hurt ... fine asad bahijaan you teach nikhat and he grabbed humeiras hand and twirled her to asad.

asad caught hold of humeira and immediatly let go of her ..

ayaan please stop all of this .. im tired and he went to his room ..

me too .. humeira said with a hurt voice .. she looked at zoya with disgust and went to her room ..

allah miya what is wrong with those 2 ? zoya wondered

looks like the party is over .. imraan said quitely .. ill take your leave .. shukriya . he made salaam and left .. nikhat went to leave imraan at the door ..

ammii .. tell us about your first dance .. najma and nuzhat questioned their mother .. who looked away shyly ..

oh no .. dilshaad laughed

oh no im going I cant handle more girl stories .. ayaan left rolling his yes .. leaving his sisters and zoya with his ammi ..

ok ok... i danced with your father for the first time after our 3rd meeting .. we were passing a cafe and all of a sudden he held my hand and twrlrd me towards him .. and he just held me and swayed ..

with no music ? najma asked confused..

dilshaad smiled .. when you are with your mr right .. you dont need music .. when you are dancing with your special someone you will just know its right .. it will be filled with intensity .. your heart will race and you will just let yourself enjoy it .. you will hear the music of your hearts .. and let it make its own music ...

and that was it.. my first dance .. dilshaad smiled ,, all the girls sighed with and smiled back at dilshaad

yes ammi .. and they got up to leave .. they all said their good nights and left ..

1 hour later .. zoya was lying in bed unable to sleep .. she stood up and stared humming and started practising some dance steps ... the house was quite .. and dark .. zoya kept on bumping into cupboards and chairs in her room .. so she walked in to the lounge area and stared practising there ..

asad was also awake unable to sleep .. his mind was occupied with thoughts he never had before.. why did his heart jump when ayaan wanted to dance with her .. he hated everything she did ,, but why did he want to hold her in his arms .. why did holding humeira feel wrong like he was cheating on zoya ? and the heard a soft curse and he knew it was .. leave her alone his brain told him .. but it was like he didnt have control of his body anymore and he started walking to the lounge .. and then he saw her

she looked like an angel .. her hair was open flowing as she tried twirling herself but failed .. she was wearing a long white silk nightgown which hugged her in all the right place .. but that didnt matter to him .. what made his breath stop was her eyes .. always so innocent , never hiding what she felt and then they were staring directly at him ...

zoya couldnt take her eyes of him .. and he stared back at her .. she started to say something but stopped right away as he started walking towards her .. he was so tall , so perfect she thought .. she couldnt move , couldnt talk or breathe . she didnt know what to do it was like she was hypnotised by him .. he didnt let go of his gaze on her until he was right in front of her and hen he looked at her with an intensity that scared her at first ..

mr khan im sorry if i disturb.. he held her hand with such care she forgot what she was saying ..

and then he pulled her towards him ..what happened in that next 1 minute was a blur for both of them .. all zoya could remember was he so close to her .. twirling and dipping her ,, his hand was on her back and she kept her hand on his shoulder .. he could hear the thumping of her heart and he was sure she could feel his heart also .. and then they stopped just holding each another silent .. asad reached up and moved her hair from her face ..zoya move her hand from his shoulder to his neck and kept it there .. she could hear something , violins .she thought confused .. and then she flashbacked to what phupi had told them earlier , and she let go of asad .. fear in her eyes ..

asad held her hands .. whats wrong zoya he asked .. scared of the fear in her eyes .. im sorry he told her .. i didnt mean to scare you .. but it felt right .. didnt it ? he asked her with hope she felt the same way ..

what was happening to him ? he never acted this way not even with

HUMEIRA .. zoya gasped ..as she thought about her conversation with humeira

asad .. you are getting engaged too humeira ..its not right zoya still shocked about what happend ..and she ran to her room .. tears in her eyes .. her first dance .. she knew it felt right also but he belonged to someone else .. she closed the door let her tears run..

asad stood their in a daze .. ya allah what had he done ? he thought what the hell just happened to him .. she ran away from me his anger growing at making a fool of himself ...

the next morning the whole family was eating breakfast on the table .. dilshad noticed something was wrong with asad ..

asad are you ok ?

ha ammi im just great .. he replied in an irratated tone ..excuse me i have to make a call and he left the table ..

wow bhaijaan ... is more angrier than usual . ayaan commented .. maybey he needs his humeira to calm him down and he winked at humeira ..

be quiet ayaan .. its not a joke .. humeira snapped back..

ayaan was shocked .. he had never heard her speak like that .. and did he see tears in her eyes .. ayaan felt sad when he looked at her .. why was he feeling like that ?

he shrugged it of as morning blues and started talking to his sisters about college ..

zoyas room

zoya didnt get any sleep last night .. still shocked over what happend between her and asad ..

she could still feel his touch on her back ..it was like he had marked her and she couldnt rid herself of his thoughts ..

zoya what is wrong with you she thought to herself ,, why are you behaving like a child .. you are a grown woman .. get over it !!! she commanded herself

she knew asad was angry with her .. she saw it in his eyes when she ran away yesterday and she was right ..

asad was angry but not at her .. he was angry at himself .. he always knew what he wanted in life .. he was always like that .. he needed everything to be perfect ..and he had planned to be married to the perfect wife and he knew the perfect one for him was humeira.. not only him his whhole family knew it ..

then why couldnt he get her out of his mind.. he only knew zoya for a few days and he could tel she was crazy but why did he want to enjoy her craziness.. let go of his perfection and be crazy with her ..

when he danced with her last night it was the most amazing moment of his life ..and he had to forget it .. asad knew he would never have her because he himself had chosen humeira !!!

asad went to zoyas room and he knocked .. he didnt hear any response so he walked in .. she was sitting on her bed .. writing in a book .. a diary perhaps he thought ...he went closer and touched her shoulder .. she jumped up with a fright and turned around and was about to scream when he quickly covered her mouth with her hand ..

when she calmed down he moved his hand .. they were inches apart ..he could feel her breath on him ,, he slowly let go of her and moved away

mr khan ,, u scared me she said looking shaken up

im sorry ,not only for scaring you but for last night as well .. i had no right to touch you ..i apologise for losing control .. i hopr you can forgive me and we can put this behind us and start fresh .. he said with hope in his voice ..

zoya was shocked ,, she pinched herself .. OW its real !!

asad left her room and bumped into humeira on the way out ..

zoya walked out of her room and wiped a tear from her eye ..and she knew it was over between her and asad ..

meanwhile dilshaad was on the phone with humeiras ammi razia

i know that we had planned humeiras and asads engagement but we had never confirmed it razia ..

razia shouted , confirmed .. what do you need to confirm .. my daughter loves asad and you are talking about stopping this engagement from happening ..

i have no choice razia .. asad has been promised to someone else .. and i made this promise before asad and humeira met .. i know it was wrong to let humeira develop feelingd for asad but rashid and i had forgotten the promise we made ..
