Because I have very little faith that these issues could be well executed. Instead of making a mess/ dragging these issues i would rather they are swept under the rug and the series maintain the quality level it is showing till now. I have come to know that there are a lot of limitations and constraints in Indian dramas and I hope this drama excels within the very narrow range it has. I hope you didnt take my view in the wrong way and i loved your post but thinking out of the box is not really the name of the game here.

*just my opinions* and i love reading your takes on the episodes

Oh not at all.

I only brought it up because Gul seems to be going that way. She brought up these issues And I only hope she goes the right way with them.

I love lightness and romance. But Gul said she wants to talk about culture and that QH isn't a just a shallow love story. In that regard I made the post.

Very well said!

I felt a lot of serious issues were being highlighted, which is good BUT its sad that they're being trivialised to a great degree.

Glad you posted this!

I would add one more to your list.

Asad saw Zoya being buried alive, then had to go through the trauma of searching for her like a madman, screaming in frustration, dealing with the fact that she might be dead because of him and eventual flood of relief in seeing her alive. All of this has got to take an emotional toll on him at some level. I mean, those scenes were portrayed with such charged emotion that it made a mark. That traumatic event has to haunt Asad in some way, I don't know, maybe he has nightmares about searching for Zoya?

(Btw, the romantic angle with Asad is being handle very well. His emotions flooded out and now is confused and avoiding his feelings and Zoya, which is a very realistic reaction going by Asad's characterization.)

All of the points you mentioned about Maryam, Zoya, Humera and Asad here, are serious emotional issues, which were portrayed well. But, if the after-effects aren't shown, it sort of lessens and even trivializes the impact of such emotional and sensitive subjects.

Thank you for putting it this way!

You said what I wanted to.👏

you just wrote everything I've been wanting to write 😆
I actually wanted a scene after the mangalpur thing where Zoya would breakdown and cry..and just maybe show how the incident affected her. I actually wanted one. And same goes with Maryam.

Agree! These issues do need to be addressed in a more appropriate way to send out the right social mssge as heinous crimes such as these are forever on the rise and peoepl who have had to suffer at the hands of such crimes are forever mentally, physically, emotionally scarred so showing character's like Maryam and Zoya's mental state would help people relate to what these unfortunate peopel have had to go through.

From my point of view such issues are brought to add drama and to get eyeballs and then conveniently dropped because they might not make for exciting viewing or might not cater to trp audience's tastes. And there might be viewers like me who would not have too much patience if these issues are explored in their entirety but obviously there could be a touch here and there and that could only add to the depth of the story and make the show a better success. You are right if not handled in the right way the characters struggles might stop becoming believable and we wouldn't be able to relate to them.

Happy watching!

I don't want these issues to take center stage(after all I'm here for the romance too) but in the long run I don't want them trivialized that's all.

Happy watching to you too.😊

agree completely
after high voltage drama , they are trying to light heart moment but on the cost of all the emotions of Asad and Zoya went through , its like those 3 days never came in their lives they are back to square one
to show comedy i am sure there are 10 other shows then how (my) QH is different from them

bcz it shows the emotions in depth
it depicts the love of kids to their parents
it shows the bonding of siblings

i know they will come up with great track very soon but why this filler

i want to see Mahasangam (intensity) everyday in QH

ps: todays Asad Ayaan was highlight for me, Loved it 😃
