Just so you know that, they they are also showing a strong women like Zoya.
Practical, and down to earth human like Asad, amazing sister like tamatar
Brilliant mother like Dilshaad, Beautiful relation between step siblings especially brothers and so on...
This has nothing to do with having a show in Muslim background and all :)

I agree.

Much as I love this show and am big fan of asad and zoya, I don't see the show fighting the stereotypes created about muslims but yes solidiying them as you say.
Every wedding is a scene of forcing and violence and the positive characters are not given enough space to counter the negative views.
I'd like to see Qubool Hai challenge these wrong doings in the way Balikha Vadhu is...now that's a show with a strong social message.
I'd love for Qubool Hai to be revolutionary in creating new views of Muslims
And yes in this day and age when islam is under attack from every corner of the world it is vital for shows to represent muslims in a positive light...and not captur stereotypes the way Hollywood has been doing for years.
I think those of us disappointed were thinking this show would be working along the lines of Kingdom of Heaven or My Name is Khan

In my opinion, they are making fun of the word Nikaah! Rashid leaves Dilshad, Raziya manipulates the truth for daughters "Nikah". Girl is forced to get into Nikaah with her rapist, Zoya is forced for Nikaah by being kept at gunpoint. By the way, the good characters are only 3/ 15!! Very small amount indeed!! and How could I forget that they kept the Qaazi at gunpoint: the guy who was reading the surahs for Zoya-Akram.

I actually really liked the episode, it was heart breaking and a totally reality check.I do agree about the negativity of the characters part but honestly I have seen worser dramas in which all characters are against the leads and forever separating them.

Storyline has nothing to do with religion. This happens in every religion.I think you should watch this show with a broader mind instead of bringing religion in a show. I am not a Muslim but I don't think QH storyline is showing a religion in a bad way. This happens everywhere, with many women Hindu or Muslim does not matter.

Please stop bringing religion here ,the show is a drama where we have good and bad people 😉

As for women well be it hindu or muslim u find them same .Indian women species is a unique one and does not change its character by releligion .Some conniving some selfish some kind some generous...well the list goes on🤓
The show is hindi tv drama with all masala of a tv soap...till now whatever they have shown is nothing new or uncommon its all hapening in Indian society
As for repetation of the plot and quality listen dear the show is not going for Oscars ok cvs are as avarage as that of other tv shows so dont expect much and watch the show as a daily soap rather then some path breaking muslim religious drama 😔
At last dont bring religion please if u have query in name of religion or frustration then their r saperate threads for it go there ur matters will be listened and answered too ...😊
Our great Indian ploiticians are enough to make an issue of religion we dont want our loved Qubool Hai forum to become a religious battleground

Why bring religion into this...??

there has been umpteen number of shows which has shown similar things in other religion too...why has no one pointed things to that ..saying they are showing that religion in wrong light??

Are we saying that when we see such things in other religion it is permissible but when it comes to our religion we make an exception!!!!

Why do we have to treat a show with muslim background different than other??

A show is work of fiction...which needs lots of drama..and so certain scenes are created for that purpose...why compare it to normal life??

Er... I am gonna have to disagree on that. I honestly think the "social message" if they were even trying to give one, was that panchayats are ruling villages and laws aren't being followed. Almost like a wake up call for India. This really had nothing to do with relationships.
I mean come on, don't even get me started HAVE YOU SEEN the Ekta Kapoor shows. People get killed and remarried and plot against one another and shit like theres no tomorrow. So yeah honestly speaking I don't see any racial slur against muslims.

And the Indian Mentality as a whole is being portrayed, and Indian is a nationality not a religion.
