Yes, hopefully the apology scene won't disppoint you because as you're saying I have hyped you up for it, and I don't wanna look dumb if it doesn't happen 😆 However, there is a 99.9 % chance that it will!
Oh please, even if you will hold a grudge I won't mind, I didn't mean that you are JUST like them and that I expect you to do the same...Insaan ki baat cheet se uski zahaanat ka andaaza lag jaata hai aur app waisi nahin lagti hain. I just used that "background story" to make a point that for some female viewers, it becomes hard to like the male lead no matter how sweeet he becomes later on because they recollect the mean things he does in the beginning.

I get your point but then I am not the average QH viewer and will not even probably stick around for that long. However, I will make it a point to hunt down that legendary apology scene and watch it 😛

I guess what I want is for Asad to evolve and for that I will need to be patient. I am very interested in character progression and character back story... I am a sucker for those connect-the-dots and forward steps that are promised. When Asad repents and if it is shown believably, I will look to the future and accept that because it will symbolise character growth. Same goes for any other character in the show. I mentally cheered Ayaan when he stood up to Mamujaan because that was the last thing I would have expected him to do 😆

And as for that "background story" I was just messing with you. I quite liked how you made your point there. I also know the kind of viewers you are talking about, and I get a feeling you are still frustrated about the fans of that show 😉 I mean honestly, now they need to move on.

Edit: Yes, I appreciate flexibility of opinion. And don't worry, who else am I gonna turn to to vent about the show... Mitwa, opinions pe bhi zorr nahin 😃

I am not frustrated with the people. I am just amazed to see that instead of worrying about their own lives, some decide to devote so much of their energy to a show where the actors themselves have moved on. I guess the ambitious person in me feels like people should focus on bettering themselves instead of wasting their time behind people who just did their job, got their paychecks and moved on.
Yes, character growth woul dbe nice to see because the growth is what makes them look real, In real life, we learn, grow and change everyday and I like seeing that onscreen too. However, when they show people changing and becoming less intelligent, I get turned off. That happened to me with the female lead from Gul's other show. She used to make me wonder if people like that really exist 😆
When Zoya becomes like that, I will schedule my QH watching time for something else.
Ooops!! I thought we WERE having a meaningful conversation here, but I guess my apology has been accepted by you and instead of a conversation you were just venting your frustration here on my post 😊 Anyway, I'm glad I could help you in SOME way lol

😆 Touche! Well, you provide both - a stimulating discussion and you make me comfortable enough to vent to a complete stranger 😳 As for the apology, not accepted because an apology was not needed in the first place. I thrive on diversity of opinion, and I think you do too. So what say we quit this Mutual Apology Society we have entered into 😃

Well those are the die-hard fans 😛 Frankly I am detached when I watch telly shows. The circumstances depicted may boil my blood but the characters never do and I am very quick to move on too. Zoya's messiness and nosiness gets to me sometimes. I hope that trait will not become dominant with passing episodes. She hides all her grief behind her smile and antics but there is cuteness and then there is silliness. And in between is a very fine line. While I would want some sensitivity in Asad towards Zoya and less harsh words, for Zoya I would want a maturity that comes as a result of her character growth and not because of some painful ordeal she goes through that extinguishes her inner spark.

I read few of ur posts in prev pages n got what u r sayin...
The marketing strategy of makers has left u feel dejected...
Bt frankly I dont think k nybody will make assumptions about any community or religion based on dramtic television serial. We r clever people.
Bt characters like Ayyan ka mamu really exists even in High society Antop hill of Mumbai. N his gals r ditto like Nikhat, even though each o them z a doctor, CA n Civil engineer. After marriage they even wear jeans n minis n their Abbu can't help it.
I think we must encourage n applaud characters like Dilshi. A single mother is deffo difficult to live in India. Nazma once said k her momma worked hard to raise them up. Ye log kuch dikhate hi nahi. N agreed that many probz faced by them should have been shown bt dis z a drama afterall. I think Asad should have actually let Nazma be independant. Hope k Zoya makes him do so.
We should make makers introduce more Dilshi type people n show younge lot as independant. Say these things (all bas happenng) are indeed wrong to show bt u said k religion misunderstood n stuff. It z like sayin item songs encourage violance against woman. N we conviniently neglected Dowry drama of Nikhat.
Zoya k fighting, Dilshi ka independance n Nazma ka new independance should be highlighted. Also I think Nikhat should be shown to be free n independant after marriage as she z free from her mama n mami. Hopefully hasina bi will improve bcuz of Asad ki dhamki.
Bt for goodness sake religion ko leave alone. Makers u should shout at.
