I dnt know if anyone else felt the same but I was just stunned by this action of Asad Ahmed Khan!Was that really him?If that was,then it just seemd so out of character for him as I've always seen him as someone who is reserved,emotionless,stern.strict,wooden,someone who has his own set of old fashioned beliefs but I've never pictured him to be someone who would man handle a women like that!That was just down right degrading,disrespectful and simply not on!What I found even more shocking was Zoya's reaction to that as well...I mean it was not like the Zoya that I know who would stand up for herself especially if she was being wronged in any way...instead she kept mum and went on to thinking funny thoughts...her James Bond thought's with Asad's flashbacks were funny but it wa so not Zoya if you know what I mean.I know this is just a fictional show and many of you may think that I'm getting too carried away but Asad's actions to me were just not on.I thought I had seen enough of this hatred and man handling turning into love in MIss Gul's other shows and really thought this would probably be slightly different of two people of difference of views in life with a dislike to each, over coming all that and falling deeply in love but looks like I may have been wrong!Please guy's do share your views would be interesting to know what you all thought too and a very Happy new year to everyone too!😊

I am disliking this show more and more.

I was so excited for Karan to return and when he did he bagged an amazing show with a concept.

Bang on I was so NOT expecting that out of him. At first I was like is this a dream sequence? But it actually happened and on top it for a feminist like Zoya she didn't say anything and started day dreaming.

This show is moving away from it's real concept. Story is changing and now we notice characters changing. Zoya was such a strong character now she's acting all childish and immature. Asad the almighty who respects women and is so religious actually did that. All those times he saved her then he ends up somewhat doing the same here.

I'm confused with with the direction this show is getting.

well.. Asad did that because Zoya was not listening to him and she was going to tell Asads mom.. I think he had no choice but to grab her and threat her so she won't tell Ami. i actually loved that scene.

@-aO4 I agree!Really thought this show had a different concept too and the character's had some sort of substance to them but now it does seem like they are swaying away from the initial character sketches of the character's.I Even I thought for a split sec that it was a dream sequence but was horrified when it wasn't and more over shocked that Zoya did not say anything back to Asad...instead she was shown to have become scared of Asad's threat of killing her.This was just so out of character for her as up untill now she was portayed as a strong women who would take no shit from no one.

Asad last resort to get Zoya attention was man handle her? That's total hypocrisy.

Asad total went agaisnt his believes and morals when he did that and Zoya went against hers when she didn't stand up for herself.

@ Avonii...sorry I cnt copy paste as my sensor buttons not working!I was enjoying the whole Asya interaction up untill that bit with Zoya throwing her weight about and making demands for coffee,pizza and what not was really funny and seeing Asad frustrated like that was even more hillarious but what really shocked me was asad's actions for that moment as it seemed so out of character for Asad.You just dnt hold a women by the neck just because their not listening to you...you just dnt get physical in any way as it's not deemed fit or right in any way...end of!

Totally agree with you on this!They both did totally go against theri principles and beliefs and I'm still finding that hard to digest.

You know if the storyline was lacking at least the characters could have been strong so we had something to look forward to.

I still can't believe it that Asad did that. I can't take his character serious anymore they just made a joke out of him. First the whole Bollywood hero look and now a hypocrite. Sometimes I feel like I can forgive Zoya because from the beginning she was outspoken BUT never immature.

The whole scene was whack today how Zoya was bossing him around NOT LIKE HER. The fact that Asad agreed I don't know looked so lame on him I know he was trying to prevent her from telling his mom but his character looked pathetic.

tbh i really liked that scene, it was funny, i dont really think it was serious from Asads side he was only giving her a threat so she could get scared n stop annoying him or testing his patience and as u said zoyas character shoudnt take this neck thing since shes shown to be strong but i think she knew that it was a threat so she didnt reacted to it...but she might get bck to him for this in the later episodes...
