The guy is quite patriarchal...shockingly so. But the girl is modern. So its another case of opposite meets opposite. This must be a 4Lions trend. I wouldnt really recommend it since 4Lions has a way of ruining all things good. I dont know how they do it...they must have a talent for it because it takes quite a bit effort to take something everyone loves and just smash it.

Hey Nisha... 🤗😃... How are you

I just come to see if the forum is any interesting, I see the first post telling bashers to get lost 😆

Have you read what 4 lions posted for IPK... ? Wouldn't be surprised if this one goes the same way

@ Bold: For them it doesn't ...they're experts at it 😆

I understand the whole jeans thing...there is generally a lot of controversy around it in Islam, about whether its right or wrong for a girl to wear them. That said I wear them myself

Guys) who used to wear Pant to work with the seam not touching their shoes. As in they would fold the pant couple of inch above the ankle. Does this have some religious explanation?________________________
LOL no ! i hate guys who do that. and agree asad should follow his own rules too

well i dont agree with the double standards but that is ideally how asads character is. the point of him being that way is that eventually zoya who is much different will come and help him grow

Havent watched IPK in months...so dont know what 4 lions posted about it.
Jeans thing...I mean I get it. It highlights your figure, your thighs. I dont get this mentality though...so should we all just wear bags from now on that way no one can see even a hint of our figure.
Oh well apparently this is how his character is. He is essentially a narrow minded jerk while the heroine is very open minded so I am assuming she will enlighten him to her ways. She will show him civilization...equality and all that good stuff.
Btw good for you girl...wear what you want. You only live once do what you want to. If one listen to everything everyone says and does everything others say then how will a person live?

Ok so my whole family is from Pakistan and let me tell you no one wears traditional stuff unless its a Occasion.it depends on what type of family ur from and how ur brought up
Btw the sister is showed this way because they r Orthodox and have Double standards! Not because of religion it's more of the society they grew up in.Most Indian and Pakistani shows alway show the girl fully dressed, over caring, no boy friend and God loving or not that's what the girl becomes in the end. That's what the public wants
Ur office thing: They do not want their clothes dirty. if they read the Prayers they have to be super clean. This is in a lot of religions.

Well there are two types of Muslims, there are those who think they know Islam and those who actually know it. Wearing jeans however hasn't got anything to do with Islam, as far as I know. It is more the culture than religion.. even Hindu brothers in small villages/cities in India/Pak don't allow their sisters to wear jeans or tight fitted clothes because of the men that live in those places and those weird looks people give to women wearing modern clothes.
Unfortunately with men its not the same case, small cities or villages are still behind compared to where most of us live and there is still a big difference between men and woman there. So keeping that in mind I wouldn't blame him for saying what he said, he has been brought up in a place like that and it was meant to protect her.. for her own good.
