Anyways...a mosque or masjid is a place of worship...like a temple, or church. Muslims don't worship idols...so their places of worship are very neat, clean, plain...no pictures...no idols...like you've described.
But where the 3 were today is a mizaar...its like the burial site of a very pious saint. People usually just go there to pay there respects or to make duas, or for inner reflection.
Hope that helped.

thank u so much girly.🤗U cleared my confusion.😳

For me being a muslim myself.
I have high respect for sufi saints who spread islam in indian sub continet.
They were pious person.

I went to mazar few times.
But never pray for myself in mazar.
I only pray for the souls of saints to all mighty allah in mazar as i have respect for those saints.
So if you pray for the souls of saints to allah in mazar its not forbidden.

I asked anything from allah directly.

But Fatima, they didn't show a dead person there.

& what about the candles & flowers ? Even if a dead person was buried there, you shouldn't cover it up with flowers.

They were candles , and roses in the prayer room, and what looked like a place filled with a lot of flowers.I know I sound like a idiot, but I don't any of these. So,what's the difference between a mosque here, and what they showed today?😕

Hey what was shown in the show was a dargaah/mazaar not a mosque.
At dargaahs u can find roses, candles etc but not in a mosque.Dargaah is a shrine.
I hope I've cleared ur confusion.

I am a muslim myself and i agree if you want to ask someting then you should ask Allah for it. But i really don't like when people go ask for something at dargas instead of asking from Allah...by praying for their soul, people think they can get in the good grace of Allah...which i don't find bad thinking...but don't like it when people go their and say ...ke hamari mannat puri ho gay to hum qurbani deh ge. ...just my POV

My Muslim teachings has only taught me to go to a mosque for Salah alone and RESPECT the saints and pray for them. No more than that. For me religion is only between Allah and me. Quran and Prophet Muhammad's teaching come along with it. From my POV, it is wrong because most people do not get the purpose behind dargaahs and take it overly. Nothing apart from faith and Salah can give you satisfaction.

Alright, so my question is, does anyone here (Muslims) go to see a wali ? Isn't that forbidden ?

showcasing a girl like an artificial piece is forbidden for sure but it is allowed if boy and girl want to see each other before wedding but point is only see not Dating

If you must ask for something, shouldn't you ask Allah & not a human being ? I see that many times in Indian movies & find it very confusing on why they do that.

i cant understand this one so cant reply

Good answer Zara 👏

This is a kind of polytheism and Muslims should not believe in mazars at all,
I'm
Muslim , Sunni and An Arab , i have never seen any Mazaar in my life , it is not reasonable to ask a human being what i need instead of my Allah ?

You are not supposed to go to a durga/wali thing at ALL. But alot of Muslims (I find this prevalent in the Shia community alot as well) on the Indian subcontinent do so. I think it kind of was influenced by hinduism.
But yeah, truly, its supposed to be forbidden. I guess culture got in the way.
