Hey guys ! : )

I've just finished watching 2day's ep.

I'm not going to lie, apart from KSG's acting, I didn't like anything else.

*The goons running after Zoya was just ridiculous. Are they really that desperate ?! 10 minutes were like spent on them chasing Zoya. They could have spotted her so many times.

*Ayaan chasing Zoya for her beauty (correct me if I'm wrong ) was...blahh.

*The fighting scenes were pathetic. Asad lands there in seconds to save his brother. So unrealistic.

*The editing was horrible during the fighting scenes. I mean come on, we're not watching a Salman Khan movie here !

*What the hell was that when Zoya was turning around in circles when her & the car clashed ?
I found it very hilarious. Please cv's, don't do it in slow motion next time. & If I'm not mistaken, she forgot to pick up her stuff that was lying on the floor ! 😆

Alright, so my question is, does anyone here (Muslims) go to see a wali or sufi saint (if that's what you call it) ? Isn't that forbidden ?
Why do Muslims go there ?
If you must ask for something, shouldn't you ask Allah & not a human being ? I see that many times in Indian movies & find it very confusing on why they do that. They also showed that in 2day's ep. I am just curious.

Islam doesn't allow to ask anyone else accept Allah, not to go on graves / shrines asking for help or the wishes as Allah said that Allah answers our prayers when we call Him. here i m quoting some verses from Quran and a link of Ahadith where you can verify.

Check the verses of Surah Nahel 20-21
Those unto whom they cry beside Allah created naught, but are themselves created. (20)(They are) dead, not living. And they know not when they will be raised. (21)

Surah Zumar verses 43-44
Or choose they intercessors other than Allah? Say: What! Even though they have power over nothing and have no intelligence? (43) Say: Unto Allah belongeth all intercession. His is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. And afterward unto Him ye will be brought back. (44)

example of those who call any one else except Allah in prayers

The likeness of those who choose other patrons than Allah is as the likeness of the spider when she taketh unto herself a house, and lo! the frailest of all houses is the spider's house, if they but knew. (41) Surah Ankabut

for Ahadith, check under the following heading pls in the given link
Chapter 47: FORBIDDANCE TO BUILD MOSQUES ON THE GRAVES AND DECORATING THEM WITH PICTURES AND FORBIDDANCE TO USE THE GRAVES AS MOSQUES

https://qurango.com/muslim/004.smt.html

Still if people goes to shrines / graves of walis (pious people) for seeking help or praying it has nothing to do with islam and its an Bidah(invention), which is strictly forbidden by Prophet Mohammad Peace be upon Him. Going on grave is not forbidden but praying there or seeking their help considering them they can help them beside Allah; is Shirk.

We can ask some one to pray for us if he/she is alive but can't go to shrines or some place like that as its Shirk (making partners with Allah) and Allah said in Quran

Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray. (Quran 4:116)

Shirk can only be forgiven after repentance and no one is allowed to make partners with Allah...when people go to shrines, that's due to a believe that those dead people are listening and can sort out their problem or can help in sorting out that.

WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED IN ISLAM...DO NOT JUDGE ISLAM ON THE BASE OF WHAT MEDIA PRESENT AS IT MISINTERPRET IT MOST OF THE TIMES, IF YOU REALLY WANNA KNOW, CHECK THE BOOK

https://www.quranexplorer.com/Quran/Default.aspx

in above link you can find Quran with different languages translations and recitations in the voice of different qaries...You are most welcome to contact me if you need to ask any thing, I will get back in my free time (for islamic answers it requir to find ref which can take time so it could be a delayed answer)

Thank you Hukshila ! 🤗

75% indian sunni muslim are barelvi sufi influenced.
They have high respect for sufi saint.
Thats why they go to their mazar.
Going mazar is a part of indian muslim culture.

Well I'm really sorry for you if you could not connect to today's episode. But then again it's ur personal point of view.So I respect it.
Anyways coming to your questions, many muslims do go to mazaars.for some believers in Muslims it's right, for others it's not right. But going to Dargaah is a part of Muslim culture as many people believe in sufis.
Personallt I don't go to mazaars and all.
But it's not forbidden.
I hope that answers your query.

I can answer that for you! I had the similar concern a few years ago, and being a Muslim myself I wanted to know the answer and I got it at the time. The thing is places like dargahs and what not are a place to thank and pray for the people who spread Islam in the country. It's NOT wrong to go there, but when you pray there, you pray for the souls of those who spread the message of Islam and if you wish to pray for things you desire, THEN and only then you must directly ask from Allah.

So what they showed isn't wrong. My mom told me that she used to go as a kid plenty of times but she prayed for the souls and asked for anything, directly from God.

There are controversies whether it's right to go to a dargah or no, but at the end, there isn't a direct reasoning whether its forbidden.

Hope this helped.

@Anitamalik

Hey ! : )

Thanks for commenting.

I'm a Muslim myself, but wanted to know why some Muslims go there, because my family members told me it's wrong, since the people ask the guy instead of asking Allah.
But anyway, thanks for clearing it out for me.

I completely agree with you about today lol! It was just WAY too dramatic, and come on... the fight was EXTREMELY unrealistic. 😆

We should ask Allah for what we want, but some people do believe in wali's alot and go through them.
Personally I would pray to allah direct.
