Chapter 34
Aarya and kids had so much fun at the amusement park that it was very difficult to get the munchkins home; after dinner at a fast food outlet and ice-cream finally they got their happy tired trio home and into bed.
A tired Aarti stood under the cool shower the water massaging her tired body she heard the door open and soon felt her hubby in the shower wit her. Yash to the washcloth and started massaging his tired wife's body then she did the same to him they were even too tired to talk; after while drying her hair Yash came into the room with two glasses of hot milk with some cinnamon in it and sat next to her giving one of the glasses.
"Baby I am so tired our children are so energetic I will need a vacation after this vacation" and he laughed in between drinking his milk
"I know I just want to snuggle with you and sleep because tomorrow we are going to the water park remember so we need all the sleep we can get tonight"
Aarti took the empty glasses went into the washroom rinse them out and returned Yash was in bed with the tv on Aarti came near him and he pulled her in for a hug "Yashu Vidhi called she said that Aripta's parents are planning to sue for custody of the girls and mummy ji is supporting them"
"What have they lost it there is no way they are taking my babies from me? Aarti you are a lawyer do they stand a chance?"
"No Baby the law is on our side and you signed the adoption papers for me to adopt them just as you have adopted Ansh. They have to prove that we are bad parents to the girls that we are the cause for their mental and physical harm. Even then it is your parents or Pankaj bhayia and Vidhi Bhabhi or Prateek/ Paridhi will get first preference over Aripta's parents for the custody of the girls. Not to forget we have Radha ma and Akash bhayia you're other biological family"
"Aaru this does not surprise me that ma is supporting them she don't love me any more and will hurt me at every chance she gets not only me but you, Radha ma and bauji also. Baby I just don't understand them why are they doing this Aripta was their only child and they got her married to me, because we belonged to the same community, and they are also a business family, their business is smaller than us and had some financial problems which I helped them out off. Now I am thinking that they were only interested in the Scindhia name and wealth, and I was the means to their success. What are they going to do with two young girls six and five years old they are in their late fifties how are they going to take care of them do they expect me to give over to them a large sum of money or my babie's trust funds. Aarti these people are mad they expect us to bow down to them, their wishes that is why they are doing this because there is no court that can prove that you or I am bad parents to our babies. Right Aarti."
"Yash don't worry they have to get sworn statements from all the family members stating that we are bad parents, letters from their school and doctors together with photographic evidence of our wrong doings, plus the family court judge will have the kids answer questions in the presence of a child psychologist demonstrating their home life. Yash honey let us not worry for that tonight and spoil our kids fun tomorrow when we return to Mumbai we will deal with it okay honey" and they shared a kiss but she felt Yash's worry as he held her close to his heart she snuggled closer "Baby I will do all in my power to fight them off no one will take my kids form me "said Aarti and held on closer to her hubby. "I know love you are the best mother our kids could ever have" Aarya eventually fell asleep to tired to even worry any more
The following morning the kids were so excited that all through breakfast all they spoke about was the water park they saw another advertisement on tv while watching cartoons and were bouncing with joy "Mama we want to go on all the slides " said Ansh
"Yes and you and Papa have to come with us" said and excited Payel
"Mama don't forget to pack extra clothes for you and papa also" said Palak
"Mama Will you be wearing that short pants today" asked Payel "I want to wear shorts too"
Aarti was very confortable in her shorts pants Yash loved drooling at her legs and she loved teasing him and best of all the family is nowhere in sight so she need not feel embarrassed
"Okay my doll both you and your sister wil wear shorts too" and she kissed them.
Yash "Champ let me get yours and my shorts too "and Yash went and changed into short pants and t shirt to "All ready for the park"
Aarti made sure that there were enough clothes and towels in their bags all set to have fun at the water park.
The kids had fun they went tripple time on all the rides that they were allowed to go on with their parents close by their sides.
"Aarti! Aarti! They heard the shout of a mans voice Aarti recognized the voice of her dear friend Aaman.
"Aaman you here" she said and was swept up in a bear hug
Yash was angry who is this man who dare touch his wife without his permission.
"Yashu this is Aaman my childhood friend, Aaman meet my husband Yash Scindhia and these are our kids Ansh, Palak, and Payel Kids say hello to Aaman mama ji."
"Nameste mamaji and all bent and touched his feet"
"I have a handsome nephew, and two beautiful princesses for nieces and you did not tell me bad Aarti" and playfully hit her giving her and angry look this made the kids laugh even Yash had to laugh.
The kids went to sit and have a snack before their next escapade while the adults talked "Aarti you have been busy three kids one baby every year, and wait what about that fellow whom I did not like Dubey that was his name"
"Prashant Dubey and yes I married him a big mistake on my part he abused and cheated me left me pregnant with Ansh and divorced me got married to his lover. Yash is my second husband and the girls are from his first marriage and I can tell you I love him very much and he loves me" Aarti explaines and hugged Yash then quickly let him go and looked around to observe if any one was paying attention to them.
"Yash you love my Aarti take good care of her she is my special little sister or I swear I will deal with you. Aarti why did you not get in touch with me you went through all alone"
"Aaman Prashant's parent were with me they disowned their son for Ansh and I and welcomed me as their daughter they are the ones who got me married to my Yash. Aaman where were you all this time and you are here alone?"
"After collage my dad wanted me to gain so more experience so I went to Demnark and started working for a large co operation there I have been there for the last eight years. Ma and Bauji have moved here to Mumbai he manages the family's branch office here, I have returned home a couple of days ago they want me to get married and settle back here and I am thinking about it I came here to cool my brains I am tired of looking at photos of girls and hearing about how perfect they are." He laughed
Yash said "I know the feeling parents especially mothers always think they have found the perfect wife/ life partner for their sons but I think it is all about finding the perfect bahu for them one who they can control."
Aaman spent the reminder of the day with them the kids had fun with their new mama ji and he spoilt them rotten after dinner they went their separate way promising to meet the next day at AarYa's house.
Aaman met them at their house and he invited them to meet his family. Yash got to know some more about Aarti's past her life in the orphanage, her friendship with Aaman and his family he saw some photos of a young Aarti with Aaman. Aarti met Aaman her first day in school he is a year older than her and he saw her crying after the kids teased her for being an orphan, he took an instant liking for her and declared that she is his friend as they got older he wanted his parents to adopt her and make her officially his sister but pressure from his parents close family stopped them, they did not want an orphan in their family especially one who does not know what caste she belongs too. The family did not adopt her but they continued to shower her with love, and kindness until she lost contact with them because of Prashant.
Yash for out some more about Prashant from Aaman how they did not like eachother and Prashant was the cause for the distance between the friends. Yash told how he adopted Ansh only after pay Prashant a price for him to sign the legal papers. Aaman said that is Prashant style will do anything to make a quick buck.
The kids loved their new nana ji and nani ji Payel innocent asked "How many nana ji, nani ji, and daadi ji we have??"
Aaman said "lets count you kids tell me and I will count for you"
Ansh said "We have Badi mama and papa, Aripta's mama's parents, now your parents Aaman mamaji."
Aaman "That's three sets"
Palak said "We have G3 daadi ji, and Radhs daadi ji"
Aaman "Two daadi jis "looking curiously at Aarya so were his parents "You kids are very lucky so many grand parents that means lots of gifts hugs and kisses"
Payel innocent said "Before mama and papa got married Aripta's mama parents used to give lots of hugs and kisses but they don't any more they don't like mama, and G3 daadi ji threw us out of her house because she too don't like mama"
Aaman's mother tok Payel on her lap and said "Don't worry beta we love your mama and you three too so we won't throw you out and how about a big hug for this nani ji and a kissy and she took Ansh and Palak into the hug and showered their little faces with kisses then made them laugh by tickling them, she took then to the kitchen for a snack while the adults spoke because they were curious as to what is happening in aarti's life.
Yash told about his first marriage and wife he also told that his former in laws want custody of the girls.
"What did you say how is it they think a court of law will give them custody of their daughter's kids when then father is alive and has the financial means to provide for them; they have a loving step mother."
"Uncle ji you are also a lawyer I told Yash that they have no chance am I right?"
"Betas I am more into co-operate law but from what I remember their chances are nil, Yash parents and brothers are still alive they are capable of bringing up the kids in case any misfortune befall the both of you. I know some one who can give you some advice Aarti you remember Anil chacha my friend?"
"Yes uncle ji he was in law collage with you"
"Yes let me contact him and see if he is aviliable for a video chat "
Aaman's papa got in contact with his friend and told him adout AarYa's problem he spoke to the couple giving them some good advice. It turned out he was now a judge in Family Court in Bhopal.
The kids had their Aaman mama ji playing with them he was up with their naughty games played horsey with them giving them all rides
"You see why we want him to marry he would be a good father" said his ma "But he refuses to choose a bride, we want grandchildren to enjoy while we can not when we are stuck in a wheelchair but he is not listening maybe you two can influence him to change his mind"
Aarya and kids left after dinner Yash felt much better more in control of the situation with his former in laws, after his chat with Anil chacha and Aarti resurance that she will personally fight the case in court if it comes to that.
Yash had installed a hot tub in their back terrace because Aarti loved looking at the night shy from there and then they was a great view of the beach the terrace was made in such a way with tinted glass windows that they had enough privacy from the beach goers if they cared to look in.
Before bed AarYa had a romantic interlude in the tub first a nice soak discussing the day's events then that turned to romantic talk, then into hot foreplay ending with joining of two love birds making their own love song with their rhythmic beat, happy and very content Yash towelled both of them and carried his darling wife to their room for some more tender loving care, sexual healing.
Back in Bhopal
"G3 what nonsense is this I am hearing you are supporting Aripta's parents to get custody of my granddaughters have you gone completely mad!!Do you realize what you are doing that stupid decision of your will not only affect Yash and Aarti but all our family's dirty laundry will be aired for the public do you hate Yash and I that much to allow that!!"
"Ji you are right they are your granddaughters and that woman not mine, who I support should not matter to our!" G3 shouted back
"Which kangaroo court do you think will give them custody Yash and Aarti are great parents to their kids unlike you? If it is moey they want I will give it to them just to leave my family alone"
"Bauji no don't say that if you give or offer them money they can use that against Yash and Aarti. Bauji don't worry I am here to support my brother no one will take Palak, and Payal from us." Pankaj said
"Ma please see reason it is the future of our girls; you used to love them so much Your beloved Aripta's and Yash daughters. I understand you want to distance yourself from Yash because you have been deeply hurt by bauji and dada ji, also you hate Aarti without giving her a chance or even trying to know her.But don't take out your anger on those two little angels." continued Pankaj.
"Whoes side are you on mine's your biological mother or theirs your step brother"
"Ma that is unfair we are all family and we are brothers who grew up together how can I not support my younger brother and his daughters they are the innocent ones"
"Next thing you will say is that you accept Akash as your brother and that woman as your mother too" said G3 walking away towards her room.
Paridhi heard the exchange shook er head drama and enotional blackmail is all G3 mummuji knows, she was on her way to work a night shoot for her talk show.
